Preliminary autopsy results have showed that the Palestinian martyr Yasin al-Saradih was killed by a bullet down the abdomen shot from zero distance, Palestinian Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs Commission said in a statement on Friday.
Al-Saradih, 33, died on Thursday only hours after he was arrested by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) from his house in Jericho east of the West Bank.
The autopsy results revealed that al-Saradih also suffered fractures in the pelvis and different bruises in the head, chest, neck and shoulders as a result of being brutally beaten by the IOF soldiers, according to the statement.
Head of the Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs Commission Isa Qaraqe' said that the autopsy results refute the Israeli narrative that the martyr died of gas inhalation.
Qaraqe' stressed that al-Saradih was premeditatedly executed, adding that such heinous crimes have been increasingly witnessed since 2015.
The Palestinian official called for prosecuting Israel for these extra-judicial executions at the International Criminal Court.

Yassin Omar al-Saradeeh 33
A 33-year-old Palestinian young man breathed his last on Thursday morning shortly after he was kidnapped by the Israeli occupation forces from his family’s home in Jericho.
The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society said the Israeli occupation authorities announced the death of Yassin Omar al-Saradeeh, aged 33, after he was detained by Israeli soldiers at the crack of dawn.
The casualty’s family said that their son had been subjected to heavy beating by the occupation soldiers prior to his abduction and that he did not suffer from any diseases.
Al-Saradeeh was kidnapped in a mass abduction sweep launched by the Israeli military at predawn Thursday across the occupied West Bank.
Cases of torture and heavy beating are routinely reported in Israeli raids throughout the occupied Palestinian territories. Sniffer dogs, rifle butts, combat boots, police matraques (batons), and thick metal truncheons are among the objects Israeli soldiers frequently use to nab Palestinians before dragging them to occupation dungeons.
Update: Man Violently Beaten by Israeli Soldiers Hours before His Death (VIDEO)
The Palestinian Prisoners Society, on Thursday morning, said that Israeli authorities informed the family of Yassim Al-Saradih (33) of his death, hours after he was taken form his home the same day.
The family assured that Yassin was violently beaten during the seizure, and that he did not suffer from any diseases. Later, CCTV cameras showed the violent beating of Saradih by Israeli soldiers during the arrest, adding that he inhaled teargas and suffered from cramps due to the pain.
Israeli occupation forces stormed Jericho at dawn today (2:30), where clashes broke out between the youths and soldiers.
PNN further reports that the Palestinian Center for Human Rights (PCHR) called for immediate and impartial investigation into the circumstances of his death, expressing concerns that the Israeli forces might practice torture against him immediately upon his arrest and this would be the reason behind his death.
According to PCHR’s investigations and eyewitnesses’ accounts, at approximately 04:30 on Thursday, 22 February 2018, Israeli forces moved into Jericho. They raided and searched a house belonging to Khamis Hattab in the center of the city after breaking down the main house door in addition to damaging some of the house contents. His nephew, Yassin ‘Omer al-Saradih (33) headed to the house to figure out what was going on. However, immediately, a number of Israeli soldiers severely beat him up throughout his body and then fired a tear gas canister on the spot. They then pulled him on the ground to a military vehicle and later to an unknown destination.
At approximately 09:30 on the same day, the family received a phone call from the Palestinian Military Liaison telling then that the Israeli Liaison informed them of the death of their son due to suffering gas inhalation and seizures. A video captured by a surveillance camera showed 6 Israeli soldiers attacking the abovementioned civilian and brutally beating him up using their riffles’ butts and feet.
His family said to PCHR’s fieldworker that their son had not suffered from any disease before his arrest. It should be mentioned that the Israeli authorities detain the corpse and have not so far handed it to the family or the Palestinian competent authorities.
PCHR emphasizes that during their arrest, Palestinian civilians are subject to severe beating, physical and psychological torture, and inhuman and degrading treatment. Video

Hundreds of Palestinians in Bethlehem laid to rest the ex-prisoner Ziad Sh'eibat, 55, in his hometown Beit Sahour following Friday prayer.
According to the PIC reporter, Sheikh Ibrahim Doweib, who delivered Friday sermon, held Israel responsible for the death of Sh'eibat, explaining that the drugs given to Sh'eibat while he was in Israeli jails caused him cancer which later killed him.
The leader in the Islamic Jihad Movement, Sheikh Khader Adnan, said that Sh'eibat was one of the senior leaders of the Movement in Bethlehem.
Adnan affirmed that Sh'eibat told him that an Israeli intelligence officer threatened him before his release that he wouldn't be arrested again, pointing, indirectly, to his near execution.
Sh'eibat died on Thursday after months of fighting cancer. He was known for his anti-Oslo approach and as a result he served several months in the Palestinian Authority prisons and was later held for years in Israeli jails.

Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, on Monday held Israel responsible for the death of the Palestinian injured detainee Raed al-Salhi.
Hamas's spokesman, Hazem Kasem, said in a statement that the death of Salhi was caused by a "compound crime" that counts as yet more evidence of Israel's violation of all human norms.
Kasem added that such crimes will not break the will of Palestinian prisoners, affirming that the prisoners' issue will remain at the top of Hamas's priorities until they obtain freedom.
Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs Commission said that the injured detainee, Raed al-Salhi, 21, who died on Sunday, was critically injured when Israeli soldiers tried to arrest him during a raid at his house in August.
About 1,200 Palestinian prisoners out of 7,000 in Israeli jails suffer from serious health conditions due to medical negligence. Nearly 21 of the prisoners have been diagnosed with different kinds of cancer while 17 of them have heart-related problems.
Lawyers from Prisoners Affairs Commission on Monday afternoon filed a preliminary appeal to the Israeli prosecution demanding the immediate handover of Salhi's body which is being held by the Israeli occupation authorities.
Qaraqe’: “Salhi Was Left To Bleed To Death For Ninety Minutes”
The head of the Palestinian Detainees’ Committee Issa Qaraqe stated that Raed Salhi, who on Sunday September 3, died at the Hadassah Israeli Medical Center in Jerusalem, from serious wounds suffered on August 9, 2017, was left to bleed to death for more than ninety minutes, when Israeli soldiers shot him after the army invaded Deheishe refugee camp, south of Bethlehem.
Qaraqe’ stated that the soldiers shot Salhi while attempting to abduct him, and left him bleeding for more than ninety minutes, after preventing local medics from approaching him.
“The soldiers shot Salhi with the full intent of killing him; this is why they shot him with more than five live rounds in the abdomen, damaging his liver,” Qaraqe’ said, “He remained on life support until he uttered his last breath.”
He added that what happened to Salhi is a repeated occurrence, a deliberate policy to ensure the death of young Palestinian men, instead of arresting him, and demanded a credible international investigation into Israel’s policies of assassinations, and the obstruction of urgently needed medical services.
“The medical report by Hadassah revealed that Salhi arrived at the medical center suffering very serious wounds following gunshot injuries to his chest and abdomen, leading to deadly damage to his organs,” Qaraqe’ added.
His statements came as he visited families or Palestinians who were killed by the Israeli army, and those who are imprisoned by Israel.

A former Palestinian political prisoner who joined the supporters of hunger-striking detainees at a solidarity tent died on Tuesday of a heart attack, just five months after his release from prison.
While in Israeli detention, he was subjected to medical neglect, leading to a severe deterioration of his health, including kidney failure.
The head of the Detainees Committee, Issa Qaraqe, stated that the former prisoner, Mazin Mohammad al-Maghraby, 45, was only released a few months ago, following serious health complications.
al-Maghraby had been participating in a solidarity hunger strike for the past several days, at a protest tent in Ramallah.
Qaraqe said that al-Maghraby suffered from a heart attack, and was rushed to the Ramallah General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead around dawn.
The deceased was from ‘Abwein village, north of Ramallah in the central part of the Occupied West Bank.
In addition to suffering kidney failure, al-Maghraby suffered from a number of other health conditions that were left untreated, and severely deteriorated during his five years of imprisonment.
He had been forced to undergo kidney dialysis since his release from prison, and was hospitalized a number of times.
The protest tent where he suffered a heart attack was established to maintain a constant presence in solidarity with the hundreds of hunger striking Palestinian prisoners. There are more than 1500 Palestinians currently on hunger strike, and the number is increasing daily.
This hunger strike began over a week ago following a call by imprisoned Palestinian leader Marwan Barghouti and others, and has united all Palestinian political parties and factions.
The prisoners are calling for a number of demands to be met, including medical treatment for prisoners, allowing visits from their families and ending so-called ‘administrative detention, in which Palestinians are held without charges for extended periods of months and years.

Detainees and Ex-detainees Committee received on Saturday a medical report on the death of Palestinian prisoner Mohammad al-Jallad who died on February 10, 2017 in Israeli Beilinson Hospital where he was receiving treatment after being shot and wounded on November 09, 2016, by Israeli forces.
The report shows that the direct cause of death was because his lungs were filled with air and had instability of bio markers. As he had a gunshot wound, he had disintegration of the liver, rupture in large intestine from the right, injury of the right kidney and leaking from the intestines into the abdominal cavity.
It also shows that he depended on artificial breathing and was infected with lymph gland cancer. The reasons for the bleeding he repeatedly suffered were not mentioned.
Medical examinations were conducted for his gallbladder on the same day of his death. No clarification was made whether there was any direct or indirect relation between those tests and the cause of death, the report added.
Head of Detainees and Ex-detainees Committee, Issa Qaraqe, said that Israeli authorities insisting on continuing the detention of Jallad in full disregard to his health condition was a decision to kill him.
The medical report indicates medical negligence that led to the accumulation of air in his lungs which is the main cause of his death, Qaraqe pointed out. He opined that the two-day delay in announcing his death news raises big questions and indicates mysterious conditions that Israeli doctors tried to hide.
