Israeli troops abducted early on Tuesday ten Palestinian residents from different parts of the West Bank and in the internationally-recognized occupied East Jerusalem.
The Ramallah-based Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) said in a statement that Israeli troops abducted five Palestinian residents from the Ayda refugee camp and the Nahaleen village of the West Bank city of Bethlehem.
The PPS identified those abducted as Shadi Badawna, 35, Ahmad Fannoun, Khaldoun Fannoun, and the two brothers Hassan and Abed Najajra.
In the West Bank city of Hebron, Israeli troops invaded the Beit Kahel neighborhood, broke into residents’ homes and abducted both Moha’th Alqisia, 32, and Oday Alkhateeb, 22.
In the meantime, local sources confirmed that Israeli troops invaded the Arraba village, of the West Bank city of Jenin and abducted an ex-prisoner.
The sources added that an Israeli army special force invaded the village, late on yesterday night and abducted ex-prisoner, Hamza Fayed, from a local garden park.
In the northern neighborhood of Beit Daqu of the occupied East Jerusalem, Israeli police personnel, invaded the neighborhood in large numbers and abducted Mohammad Hamdan, 20, from his residential home, earlier on Tuesday morning.
IOF kidnaps several Palestinians in W. Bank
The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Tuesday kidnaped several Palestinian citizens, including a child, during campaign in different areas of the West Bank.
According to local sources, the IOF kidnaped a citizen called Shadi Badawneh from his home in Aida refugee camp in northern Bethlehem.
In Jenin, the IOF stormed Arraba town and kidnaped an ex-detainee called Mahmoud Mardawi after ransacking his home.
In al-Khalil, the IOF kidnaped five citizens during campaigns in different areas, including al-Arroub refugee camp and the towns of Beit Kahil and ad-Dhahiriya.
Among the detainee in al-Khalil was a 14-year-old child called Ahmed al-Badawi. He was detained after went to the Etzion military base in response to a summons.

Al-Badan was welcomed by her family, including her children who were unable to see her throughout the duration of her imprisonment, as well as dozens of residents who celebrated her release. Al-Badan was abducted by the Israeli army on July 15th, 2019, after the soldiers stormed and ransacked her home in Teqoua’ town, southeast of Bethlehem, south of occupied Jerusalem in the West Bank. |
She was first held in the HaSharon Israeli prison before she was moved to the ad-Damoun prison.
During her imprisonment, Shorouq suffered various health issues, including severe neurological, abdominal, and kidney complications.

The sources added that Elham is a community leader, who is in charge of a Palestinian women’s group, called the Society for Women’s Development and Empowerment, and that Elham herself, has been abducted by Israeli forces several times before.
The sources noted that Elham’s previous abductions were apparently because of the local social activities for women, inside her own community.

Ten Palestinians were detained today by Israeli forces from across the West Bank districts, including one in occupied Jerusalem, according to the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS).
It said two Palestinians were detained in al-Arroub refugee camp to the south of Hebron, in the southern occupied West Bank, and two in the northern West Bank district of Jenin, including a former prisoner.
In the Ramallah area, two former prisoners were detained in the towns of Silwad and Dora al-Qare, two others, including an ex-detainee in Amari refugee camp.
A 33-year-old man was detained in Tulkarm and another in Jerusalem’s al-Issawiya neighborhood.

In the northern West Bank town of Ya`bad, southwest of Jenin, Israeli soldiers detained; a former prisoner, Baha Adnan Abu Bakr, 25, and Osama Riyad Turkman, 18.
In the central West Bank district of Ramallah and Al-Bireh, the Israeli forces detained two former prisoners Awni Fares, and Fakhri Hammad, from the Al-Amari refugee camp, and Saeed Ahmed Abu Shalbaya, 18, also from Al-Amari camp, east of Ramallah city.
In the northern West Bank town of Saida, in Tulkarem, Ahmed Muhammad Radad, 33, was detained, as was Adam Shafiq Obeid, from Al-‘Isawiya town in occupied East Jerusalem.
The Israeli police invaded al-‘Isawiya neighborhood in East Jerusalem, which several Palestinian youths attempted to stop, by throwing stones and fireworks at the police, the Palestinian Information Centre reported.
It noted that the police responded by firing rubber-coated steel rounds and tear-gas canisters at the protestors. No injuries were reported.
Also in the southern West Bank city of Bethlehem, in Tuqu town, similar protests were seen as Palestinian youths rejected the Israeli military invasion of their town.
An Israeli army spokesman announced, Sunday evening, the detention of a Palestinian youth from Gaza who crossed the maritime border of the northern Gaza Strip, Quds Press reported.
PIC stated that the Israeli Navy found the unarmed youth 200 meters away from Israeli shores, where he was detained and transferred for interrogation.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Sunday evening arrested a Palestinian young man after he crossed the maritime border with Israel in the north of the Gaza Strip.
According to a spokesperson for the Israeli army, a Palestinian man from Gaza was arrested Sunday evening after he tried to swim to Israel through the sea.
The man was detained by the naval forces some 200 meters from Israeli shores. He was found to be unarmed and was taken for questioning.

Qusay Hamdyeh, from the town of Yamoun, west of the northern West Bank city of Jenin, today completed 17 years in Israeli jails for resisting its occupation, according to the Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS).
PPS Jenin director Muntaser Samoor told WAFA that Hamdyeh is serving 28 years in prison.
He said Hamdyeh has been placed in solitary confinement for long periods of time and was denied family visits for years.
