Over 250,000 Palestinian worshipers visited al-Aqsa Mosque for the last Friday prayer in the holy month of Ramadan despite Israeli restrictions.
Eyewitnesses said that the Israeli forces deployed in large numbers on Jerusalem streets and at dozens of checkpoints surrounding the Old City.
On Friday morning, the Israeli forces closed all entrances to the Old City and al-Aqsa Mosque after a Palestinian citizen allegedly stabbed two settlers in Jerusalem.

A source close to Halawani told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that police forces stormed and ransacked the house of Halawani in Wadi al-Joz neighborhood in Jerusalem, physically assaulted her and confiscated some belongings.
A police measure banning teacher Halawani from entering the Aqsa Mosque had expired on October 27, 2018. The measure was taken against her after she was jailed for one month.

The Palestinian prisoner Hasan al-Awiwi has been on hunger strike for 58 days in an Israeli jail in protest at his detention without charge or trial.
The Palestinian Prisoner Society said that the Israeli Prison Service, since al-Awiwi started his hunger strike, has held him in solitary confinement, deprived him of family visits, and transferred him to several prisons despite his worsening health condition.
Al-Awiwi, 35, a father of three, has been detained administratively since 15 January.
Two other Palestinian detainees, namely Thaer Bader, 43, and Ahmad al-Horoub, 30, started an open-ended hunger strike on 18 May and 21 May respectively in protest at their administrative detention too.

Israel's Salem military court on Tuesday sentenced the Palestinian child Abdul-Jaber Yasin, 15, to four months in jail and ordered him to pay a 3,000 NIS fine.
Yasin's family said that the Israeli court accused their child of throwing stones at Israeli soldiers during a raid on Asira al-Qibliya village, south of Nablus.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Tuesday kidnapped at least 25 Palestinian citizens, including university students and ex-detainees, during campaigns in different West Bank and Jerusalem areas.
However, a statement by the Israeli army claimed its forces arrested 17 Palestinians overnight in the West Bank.
According to local sources, the IOF confiscated dozens of thousands of shekels during raids on Palestinian homes in Nablus on allegations that they were intended to fund activities against Israel and its citizens.
Local sources told a reporter for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that Israeli troops stormed Arraba town, south of Jenin, and kidnaped Mohamed Hamdan (ex-detainee) and Mustafa al-Arida after ransacking their homes.
The IOF also kidnapped Ahmed Derweesh, the spokesman for the Islamic Bock at an-Najah University, from his home in Nablus city.
Another Najah University student called Ibrahim Abu Shalhoub, an Islamic Bloc activist, was taken prisoner during an IOF campaign in Deir al-Ghusoun town, north of Tulkarem.
Zaki Radwan (an ex-detainee) was also rounded up and physically assaulted following an altercation with Israeli soldiers who raided him house in Azzun town, east of Qalqilya.
Other two ex-detainees identified as Husni al-Amoudi and Aouni al-Shakh’shir were kidnapped from their homes in Nablus city.
Many other citizens were also taken prisoners during IOF campaigns in different West Bank areas.
In Jerusalem, eight citizens were kidnapped from their homes in Hizma village.

The PPS office in Hebron, in the southern part of the West Bank, said the soldiers invaded many neighborhoods, before storming homes, abducted a former political prisoner, identified as Amin Rajabi Ghneim, and confiscated his car.
The soldiers also abducted Aseed Mohammad al-Harni, from his home in Yatta town, south of Hebron.
The soldiers claimed they located a M16 rifle, and a pistol, during the searches of homes and buildings in Hebron.
Furthermore, the soldiers abducted a former political prisoner, identified as Mohammad Rauf Hamdan, in addition to Mustafa Ahmad al-‘Aarda, from their homes in Arraba town, south of the northern West Bank city of Jenin.
In Azzoun town, east of the northern West Bank city of Qalqilia, the soldiers abducted Zaki Ribhi Radwan, 40, after invading his home and searching it.
The soldiers also abducted Ibrahim Ayyoub Shalhoob, 24, from his home in Deir al-Ghosoun town, north of Qalqilia, in northern West Bank.

Ewaiwi, 35, a the father of three children, has been on hunger strike for 56 days to protest being placed under ‘administrative detention’ by Israeli authorities.
The PPS said that Ewaiwi was transferred to Kaplan Medical Center (KMC) in Israel, where he has been hospitalized and his condition deemed critical.
The detainee has been imprisoned since January 15, 2019. He also previously spent years in Israeli detention.
Administrative detention is a common practice in Israel for Palestinians arrested by the Israeli occupying military forces.
Palestinians placed under administrative detention have not been charged with a crime, and do not receive a trial.
It is important to note that three additional prisoners are continuing their hunger strikes expressing their objection to Israel’s use of administrative detention. The prisoners are Tha’er Bader, Bassam Abu ‘Aker, and Ahmad al-Hroub.

Media sources in the town said the soldiers abducted Ahmad Amjad Sbeih, Saqer Salahuddin, Mohammad Ramadan Khatib, Ahmad Fuad Khatib, Laith Malek Sbeih, Mahdi Hasan Salahuddin, Nour Motawe’ and Mohammad Salam Sbeih.
It is worth mentioning that Ahmad Fuad Khatib, 15, was shot and injured by Israeli army fire on April 16th, 2019.
