The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) last night and at dawn Thursday kidnaped several Palestinian citizens during raids on homes in different West Bank areas.
According to local sources, the IOF stormed Rujeib in Nablus and raided the house of Khalil Duweikat, the Palestinian who carried out a deadly stabbing operation at a road junction outside the Tel Aviv suburb of Petah Tikva on Wednesday.
Informed sources said the IOF interrogated members of the Duweikat family, confiscated their cellphones and mapped the house as a prelude to demolishing it as a punitive measure.
In Bethlehem, the IOF stormed neighborhoods in the city and kidnaped a 17-year-old kid called Omar Abu Ammar and a wounded teenager called Na’eim Abu Ahour.
Abu Ahour suffered a bullet injury about a week ago when an Israeli soldier shot him near the Bilal Ibn Rabah Mosque at the northern entrance to Bethlehem.
In al-Khalil, the IOF stormed al-Fawwar refugee camp and kidnaped a citizen identified as Iyad Abu Hash’hash.
The IOF also broke into and ransacked several homes during its campaign in al-Fawwar camp and Yatta town.
In Ramallah, the IOF stormed the towns of Qarawat Bani Zeid and Beit Liqya and kidnaped two citizens from their homes.
Another citizen was kidnaped from his home during an IOF campaign in Jinsafut town, east of Qalqilya.
The IOF also stormed other areas of the West Bank, without making arrests. Clashes reportedly broke out between local youths and Israeli soldiers in some areas.
