The occupation police released on Monday night the 8-year old Ahmad Nader Abu Rmeileh after detaining and interrogating him for one hour at Salah Eddin Street police station.
Nader Abu Rmeileh explained to Wadi Hilweh Information Center that the occupation police arrested his son from the neighborhood of Al-Sa’dyeh while he was playing with a group of other children; they accused him of throwing stones towards a surveillance camera and damaging it.
Ahmad’s father added that the forces arrested his son and took him to Salah Eddin Street police station and allowed one young man to accompany him. The police also claimed to have a video of the child throwing stones and ignored the father’s request when he asked to see the recording.
The police then released the child without any condition.

Mahmoud Rabaiya arrested for staying in Israel illegally, while the Israelis he says beat him with clubs are still free.
A Palestinian claims he was attacked by Israelis in Netanya, but police has arrested him and not his alleged attackers.
Mahmoud Rabaiya, 19 from Jenin, entered Israel illegally and was staying in Netanya. He told police that Israeli civilians who noticed him two days earlier had attacked him, beat him with clubs and seriously wounded him, making him lose consciousness for a short while.
Rabaiya was able to escape his attackers and enter a nearby house to call for help. The woman who lived there saw that he was wounded and bleeding and called the police.
He was taken to the hospital for treatment, where he required stitches for his head injuries.
After receiving treatment, Rabaiya was arrested for illegally staying in Israel and trespassing because he entered the woman's house uninvited. His was stilled dressed in his bloodied clothes on Monday when he was brought for a remand hearing at the Petah Tikva Magistrate's Court.
A police representative confirmed during the court hearing that Rabaiya was assaulted by civilians who were not in custody, and claimed that police wanted to extend his remand partly in order to investigate the attack.
Rabaiya's lawyer claimed that the attack was "a hate crime, he was attacked only because he is an Arab." "Unfortunately, it's a handful of racist people who did this to hurt an innocent man, who did not do anything to harm them.
They did this solely due to the fact he is an Arab and not a Jew. This is a very serious hate crime. A crime I loathe and so should the court and the police."
The lawyer demanded to know why the police chose to arrest Rabaiya instead of expelling him back to the Palestinian Authority, as is common in cases of Palestinians staying illegally in Israel, and why it did not open an investigation into the attack, which he said was nationalistically motivated.
Judge Eldad Nevo determined that Rabaiya only entered the woman's house because he was escaping his attackers, and rejected the charge of trespassing. He also recommended that police investigate Rabaiya's attackers.
Rabaiya's remand was extended by two days.

The Israeli Occupation Authorities (IOA) prevented Sunday the Palestinian lawyer Mohamed Allan from leaving Barzilai Hospital despite a court’s order to suspend his administrative detention.
Allan, who was engaged in a hunger strike for 65 days, is still being held in coma in Barzilai Hospital in Ashkelon.
Israeli prosecution informed Barzilai Hospital administration that Allan’s release from hospital could only be approved by its permission, Yediot Aharonot paper said.
Allan’s presence in the hospital is daily renewed by the Israeli Coordination and Liaison Administration, the paper added.
According to the source, an Israeli jailer was placed at the entrance of the hospital to prevent any breach of the Israeli prosecution’s order.
The Israeli authorities informed Allan’s family that any intention to move him to another hospital must first be approved by the Israeli prosecution and the Barzilai Hospital administration.

The Palestinian Minister of Health said, Monday, that former hunger striker Mohammad Allan is in a stable health condition and that his health is improving gradually.
Jawad Awwad’s statement was released following a meeting with neurologist Adel Misk, who had recently visited and evaluated Allan at the Barzilai Medical Center in Israel where Allan is being treated. Awwad added that Misk evaluated Allan upon Awwad’s request.
Misk said that after evaluating Allan’s nervous system, he found that Allan's sense of awareness and muscular development was gradually improving after he had suffered seizures due to a dysfunction in his metabolism from the strike.
Mohammed Allan, 31, ended his 66-day hunger strike on Thursday after Israel's top court suspended his administrative detention. He entered a coma twice before the hunger strike was through.
A spokesperson at Barzilai Medical Center confirmed Misk's evaluation, telling Ma'an News Agency that Allan is "improving, he's awake, his sense of awareness and strength is improving and he's responding." Misk added that he requested Allan be given new medical tests, including a new MRI scan and a brain EEG.
Allan's hunger strike has sparked new calls for Israel to curb its use of administrative detention under which prisoners may be held without trial or charge for renewable six-month periods, indefinitely.
Israeli officials claim it is an essential tool in preventing attacks and protecting sensitive intelligence because it allows authorities to keep evidence secret.
However, it has been strongly criticized by the international community as well as both Israeli and Palestinian rights activists.
They say that international law allows for such detention only under extreme circumstances, but that Israel uses it as a punitive measure on a routine basis to circumvent the justice system or as a crutch to avoid trial.
Activists have called on Israeli authorities to charge or release those held under administrative detention.
There are currently 400 Palestinians being held in Israeli jails without charge or trial under the policy.
