Palestinian Prisoner Society revealed on Sunday that the Palestinian hunger striking captive Walid Masalmeh, 41, from Bait Awwa town in al-Khalil, has been suffering fatigue and severe weakness since day 28 of starting hunger strike.
He is striking against being detained in solitary confinement for about ten months.
The Society quoted detainee Masalmeh as saying that Eshel prison administration holds him in an isolation cell full of cockroaches and bugs which caused him severe itching.
The Palestinian detainee Masalmeh who has been arrested since 2002 and serving a life sentence has lately been throwing up and experiencing severe pain in the kidneys and the chest.
He affirmed this continuation of boycotting the prison clinic and refraining from conducting medical tests.

At least 15 Muslim worshipers were left injured at the holy al-Aqsa Mosque as hundreds of Israeli extremist settlers broke into the site on Sunday morning.
The Palestinian Red Crescent said it treated 15 Palestinians for wounds inflicted by Israeli army troops in the plazas of the al-Aqsa Mosque.
Three among the casualties were rushed to local hospitals for urgent treatment.
The assault came at a time when over 304 fanatic Israeli settlers, escorted by army troops, stormed the site via the Maghareba Gate to mark the so-called destruction of the temple occasion.
Four Muslim worshipers were kidnapped by the Israeli occupation cops, who provided the settlers with a tight security shield as they performed a series of sacrilegious rituals at the Mosque.
Jerusalem’s Grand Mufti, Sheikh Muhammad Hussein, said none of such Israeli crimes will dampen Palestinians’ spirits. “The holy al-Aqsa Mosque is for Muslims only,” Sheikh Hussein told reporters following the break-in.
Over recent days, Israeli fanatics called for mass break-ins at al-Aqsa to mark the destruction of the temple ceremony.
Meanwhile, Hamas Movement urged the Palestinian masses to speak up against such Israeli aggressions on al-Aqsa and stand up for Muslims’ rights to perform their prayers in the site.
Hamas spokesperson Sami Abu Zuhri warned of the serious repercussions of the Israeli escalation at al-Aqsa, calling on the international parties to urgently step in and bring such Israeli assaults to a halt.
The Israeli occupation forces and settlers stepped up attacks on and break-ins at the holy al-Aqsa Mosque—the third holiest site in Islam—in an attempt to wipe out the typically Islamic idiosyncrasy of the site.

New batches of Palestinian detainees joined on Sunday the mass hunger strike staged in protest at the arbitrary detention policies and harsh torture perpetrated in Israeli jails.
Prisoners of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) said in a statement that Palestinian detainees in the Negev and Eshel jails have gone on an open-ended hunger strike in solidarity with hunger-striker Bilal Kayed, starving for two months running in protest at his administrative detention.
Kayed’s family slammed the silence maintained by the international community as regards his case.
Medics at the Israeli Barzilai Hospital updated the family on Kayed’s projected transfer to the intensive care unit after his health has taken a turn for the worse.
The Israeli intelligence also turned down a deal to release Kayed on conditions of a two-year-ban from the country.
Prisoner Kayed started his open-ended hunger strike on June 15 after the Israeli prison authorities transferred him to administrative detention, without trial, following the end of his 14-year-sentence in Israeli jails.
Meanwhile, the Palestinian Prisoners Society sounded alarm bells over the sharp health deterioration undergone by prisoner Waleed Muslameh, 41, after 28 days of ongoing hunger strike in protest at his solitary confinement in Israeli lock-ups.

The Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) said that Israeli soldiers have kidnapped, on Sunday at dawn, four Palestinians in the West Bank districts of Tulkarem, Jerusalem and Hebron, after invading their homes, and took them to interrogation centers.
The Tulkarem office on the PPS, in the northern part of the West Bank, said the soldiers invaded the city, searched a number of homes and kidnapped a Palestinian man, identified as Hatem Sharif Abdul-Latif, 52.
In Jerusalem, the soldiers kidnapped a child, identified as Fadi Shalloudi, and a former political prisoner, identified as Nour Shalabi. The Jerusalem office of the PPS said Shalloudi was held under house arrest for eight months prior to his abduction.
The soldiers also invaded the al-‘Arroub refugee camp, north of the southern West Bank city of Hebron, and kidnapped a young man, identified as Abdullah Abu Rayya, 23.
The PPS stated that the soldiers have kidnapped 61 Palestinians in different parts of the West Bank over the last two days, and that 30 of them are from Jerusalem, and 25 from Hebron.
Earlier Sunday, several Israeli army jeeps invaded the al-Asakra village, east of Bethlehem, and summoned Khaled Mohammad Asakra, in his forties, for interrogation in the Etzion military base and security center.
The PPS said al-Asakra was a former political prisoner who was held by Israel for more than twenty years.

Palestinian university student Ali Abu Hasan, 20, told interrogators that he refused to detonate a bomb in an Israeli bus after he saw children in it.
Abu Hasan stated that after he caught sight of the Israeli children, he changed his target and moved to a nearby restaurant, where an Israeli occupation officer arrested him.
Abu Hasan said he planned the attack because of the simmering Israeli aggressions against the holy al-Aqsa Mosque. He added that he does not regret his decision and that the choice emanates from a personal conviction.
According to a joint police and Shin Bet investigation, the day before the attempted attack Abu Hasan entered 1948 occupied territory through nearby Wadi Sur Baher, and then changed his clothes into sportswear to assimilate into the population.
The anti-occupation youth was accused by an Israeli court of “manufacturing weapons, being in possession of a knife and attempted murder.” Abu Hasan is a student of civil engineering at Palestine Polytechnics in the southern occupied West Bank province of al-Khalil.
Over recent months, Palestinians have carried out anti-occupation attacks against Israeli targets as Israeli violations against al-Aqsa Mosque, the third holiest site in Islam, have drastically increased with Israeli settlers storming it on a daily basis.
While Palestinian anti-occupation attackers have often taken into consideration such humanitarian factors as the presence of children and women in their targeted locations, Israeli aggressors have never shown a concern for the age of their Palestinian targets.

A report by the Israeli army reported that the IOF soldiers arrested two "wanted" Palestinians: a young man from al-Aroub refugee camp and an activist of Hamas Movement from Beit Ola town in al-Khalil after anti-occupation activities.
The PIC reporter revealed that Israeli forces stormed the camp and searched a number of Palestinian homes before arresting the young man Abdullah Abu Rayya.
Violent clashes then erupted between Palestinian youths and Israeli troops. The IOF troops handed a summons to the Palestinian young man Mohammad Jawabrah to be questioned by Israeli intelligence officers.
At night on Saturday, Israeli forces raided Sabastya town near Nablus to protect settlers while performing Talmudic rituals in the historical area.
Clashes were also reported between Palestinians and IOF soldiers during their raid on Beita town near Nablus amid IOF shooting of sound and teargas grenades.

The young men were handed orders banning their entry to the Aqsa Mosque for two weeks.
IOF arrests girl for alleged stabbing attack in Jenin
The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Sunday evening arrested a Palestinian teen girl near Umm al-Rayhan (Shakid) checkpoint west of Jenin province after she allegedly carried out a stabbing attack. According to the Hebrew website 0404, the teenager tried to stab a soldier with a knife before she was subdued and arrested.
A female soldier suffered scratches as she was trying to restrain the girl. The detainee was later transferred to a Shin Bet interrogation center.
Local sources, in turn, identified the detainee as 15-year-old Amaal Kabha, noting that the Israeli army launched a manhunt for her parents. Later at night, an Israeli military force stormed Umm al-Rayhan town, located behind the segregation wall in Jenin, and kidnapped the brothers of Amaal, who carried out the stabbing attack.
The detained brothers are 20-year-old Mohamed Qabha and 21-year-old Sanad Qabha. In other separate incident, the IOF kidnapped last night two other young men in different areas of Jenin. Local sources told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that Israeli soldiers intercepted and searched a car on the road leading to the eastern towns of Jenin before detaining a young passenger.
The sources added that the young man, 18-year-old Mohamed Abul-Hasan, was interrogated on-site and then arrested, with no known reason.
Another young man called Muamen Assabagh, 22, was also rounded up, with no reported reason, at an Israeli makeshift checkpoint west of Jenin.
Israeli Soldiers Detain A Teenage Palestinian Girl After An Alleged Stabbing Attack
Israeli army claimed, on Sunday evening, that a Palestinian woman was arrested after she attempted to stab a female soldier at a military roadblock, West of the northern West Bank city of Jenin. Palestinian sources said the kidnapped Palestinian is a child, and that the army kidnapped her parents at the scene and her two brothers from their home.
She has been identified as Amaal Jamal Mohammad Kabaha, only 15 years of age.
On its part, Israeli daily Haaretz said, “the woman was driving a car, and got out of it at the Shaked roadblock, before attempting to a stab soldier.”
It added that a female soldier suffered a mild injury and that the soldiers “arrested the Palestinian woman” without the need to open fire, and took her to an interrogation facility.
Meanwhile, Israeli Ynet News said the soldier was injured during what it called “the struggle to neutralize the threat,” and that she received medical treatment at the scene without the need for hospitalization.
Following the incident, the soldiers kidnapped the child’s father and mother, who were with her, and later invaded the family home, in Toura village near Jenin, and kidnapped her brothers Sanad, 21, and Mohammad, 20.

The Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) has reported, on Saturday evening, that all Palestinian political prisoners in the Israeli prisons of Nafha, Ramon, Negev and Hadarim will go on hunger strike this Tuesday, as a warning measure that could be followed by extended strikes.
The PPS said the detainees will be striking in solidarity with the political prisoners who are already striking, including Bilal Kayed, who entered his second month of a hunger strike, demanding his release after he served his 14.5-year prison sentence, and Israel decided to keep him imprisoned under arbitrary Administrative Detention orders, without charges or trial.
He added that the detainees are also demanding the Prison Administration to void its illegal decision denying family visits, and the decision to bar them from watching Maan TV and Palestine TV.
On its part, the Palestinian Detainees’ Committee, said the move is a natural and logical response, as the soldiers continue to violate their rights, subject them to harsh conditions and frequent assaults.
It added that these violations have recently witnessed a very serious escalation, not only against the detainees, but also against their families who are being harassed and turned away on military roadblocks while trying to visit with them.
It is worth mentioning that detainee Bilal Kayed started his hunger strike on June 15th, protesting the illegal Israeli decision to hold him under an Administrative Detention order, without charges or trial, after he already served a 14.5-year prison sentence.
His health condition continues to deteriorate, as he currently cannot move around, his eyesight is diminishing, in addition to low blood pressure and sugar levels.
Kayed was kidnapped by the soldiers in 2001, and was scheduled to be release on June 13, 2016, but Israel decided to keep him held under illegal Administrative Detention.

Israeli soldiers invaded, on Saturday evening, the village of Talfit, south of Nablus city, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank, and kidnapped two Palestinians.
The Nablus office of the Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) said the soldiers broke into a number of homes, searched them, and kidnapped Mis’ad Salah Shahin, and Sayyaf Shahin, 18.
The invasion was carried out after a group of extremist Israeli colonists tried to invade the village from its eastern side, before many residents noticed them and prevented them from attacking their community.
Instead of removing the invading Israeli extremists, the army then invaded the village and attacked many Palestinians before kidnapping the two youths.

The Palestinian Prisoner Center for Studies (PPCS) has strongly denounced the Israeli court decision to hold a hearing for hunger-striking prisoner Bilal Kayed in two months from now, describing it as a "decision to kill him."
Spokesman for the center Riyadh al-Ashqar stated on Friday that prisoner Kayed entered the third month of his hunger strike, amid a sharp decline in his health condition.
Ashqar added that the Israeli higher court deliberately ignored the health condition of the prisoner and decided to look into the petition filed against his administrative detention next October, which reflected an intent to eliminate him.
"Could his body stand another two months of hunger strike?" the spokesman questioned, warning that this might lead to his certain death.

Muhammad and Mahmoud al-Balboul
The Israeli prison authorities prevented 54 Palestinian families from visiting their imprisoned sons in the Ramon lock-up, the prisoners’ committee said Thursday.
According to a statement by the prisoners’ and ex-prisoners’ committee, tension has been running high in the Ramon jail after authorities slapped visit bans on Palestinian detainees.
A state of alert has been declared by the detainees as a means to express their firm rebuff of such arbitrary measures against their families. The prisoners further announced their intent to return meals in response to the bans.
Director General of the committee’s legal unit, Iyad Mesk, said a hearing is expected to be held by the Israeli High Court on Sunday over an appeal filed by the committee to end the administrative detention of brothers Muhammad and Mahmoud al-Balboul.
Mesk added that several reports have recently been released by the committee on the exacerbating health conditions of the Balbouls.

Palestinian Prisoner Society revealed on Thursday that the Israeli Prison Service (IPS) admitted the need to conduct a surgery for the Palestinian sick captive Bassam al-Sayeh to plant a cardiac pacemaker after they had claimed that his health condition does not allow him to undergo such a surgery.
The Society pointed out that they addressed the IPS so many times and sent Dr. Samir Mutour to check on him.
Detainee Sayeh suffers shortage in the heart muscle in addition to leukemia, problems in the lungs and inability to walk.
Prisoner Sayeh, 43, from Nablus, has been detained since October, 08 last year and held in Ramleh prison clinic. His ex-detainee wife, Muna, is denied the right of visiting him in jail.

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) issued a statement condemning the Israeli decision to hold a court session for hunger striking detainee, Bilal Kayed, on October 5th 2015, and considered it an official decision to execute the detainee, who is ongoing with the hunger strike for the 58th consecutive day.
The PFLP said that this decision is an official execution and assassination attempt targeting Kayed, and called for massive protests in support of the detainee on the local, regional and international levels.
It held Israel fully responsible for the consequences of this decision, especially since the Israeli court knows that Kayed started the hunger strike 58 days ago, demanding his release, and added that Israel is holding the detainee while cuffed to his hospital bed despite his deteriorating health condition.
In its statement, the PFLP said the Israeli occupation courts are immoral and illegal, “and only show the true racist face of this occupation,” and denounced the Israeli policies of holding hundreds of detainees under arbitrary Administrative Detention orders, without charges, in direct violation of International Law and the Fourth Geneva Convention.

It added that the threat to Kayed’s life is very serious, and is part of Israel’s illegal policies and ongoing violations against the Palestinian people.
It is worth mentioning that Kayed served a prison sentence of nearly 15 years, and started his strike after Israel decided to place him under Administrative Detention instead of releasing him.
The PFLP said that this decision is an official execution and assassination attempt targeting Kayed, and called for massive protests in support of the detainee on the local, regional and international levels.
