The Israel Intelligence Service on Wednesday summoned a Palestinian child from the Old City of Jerusalem for interrogation.
Yaser Najib, the father of 10-year-old Mohammed Najib, said that this is the fourth time his son has been called in for questioning by the Israeli authorities.
He added that the Israel Intelligence Service ordered him on Wednesday through a phone call to bring his child at al-Qashla detention center in Jerusalem for interrogation.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Wednesday morning opened fire at a Palestinian young man near Ariel settlement and the junction of Jit town in the north of the West Bank.
The Hebrew media said the young man was subdued and arrested after he was shot at, without stating if he was injured or the reason that prompted the IOF to open fire at him.
There is still no information about the fate of the young man and his identity.

Israeli forces dawn Tuesday detained 17 Palestinians from various parts of the occupied West Bank, said Palestine Prisoner’s Society (PPS).
Israeli military vehicles raided Beit Kahel town, northwest of Hebron, where soldiers detained six Palestinians, including three brothers of Kassem Asafra, one of two Palestinians suspected of killing an off-duty Israeli soldier outside the settlement of Ofra almost two weeks ago.
A similar Israeli military raid was carried out in Surif town, northwest of Hebron, where soldiers seized a prisoner’s vehicle.
Meanwhile, PPS confirmed that three Palestinians were rounded up from the southern West Bank district of Bethlehem.
Two of the detainees were identified as brothers from Aida refugee camp, north of Bethlehem city.
Soldiers also raided Beit Ta'mir village, southeast of Bethlehem city, where they seized the title deeds of a plot of land belonging to the Abu Mhaimeed family.
In Jerusalem district, PPS said that Israeli police detained two Palestinians from Silwan neighborhood, two others from Issawiyeh village and another from the vicinity of Bab al-Sahira, also known as Herod’s Gate.
Meanwhile, PPS confirmed that two Palestinians were detained from Jenin city and another from Jenin refugee camp in the northern West Bank.
Israeli forces carry out frequent raids across the West Bank –including occupied East Jerusalem-- on the pretext of searching for “wanted” Palestinians, triggering clashes with residents.

Palestinian prisoner, Huthayfa Halabiyeh, 28, has completed 50 days of hunger strike protesting his detention in Israel without charge or trial, today said the Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS).
Halabiyeh, from Abu Dis, east of Jerusalem, has been held in administrative detention for over one year. He was detained on June 10 of last year and placed in administrative detention for six months, renewed again for another six month and then again another four months.
Halabiyeh, said the PPS, has been moved around prisons since he embarked on his hunger strike as a punishment and in order to break him.
In addition to Halabiyeh, seven other Palestinians held in administrative detention are currently on hunger strike demanding an end to the arbitrary and open-ended detention and to set a specific date for their release.
These include: Ahmad Ghannam, from Hebron district, on strike for 37 days, Sultan Khlouf, 33 days, Ismail Ali, 27, Wajdi Awawdeh, 22 days, Tareq Qadan, 20 days, Nasser Jada, 13 days, and Thaer Hamdan, eight days.

Israeli forces and intelligence officers on Sunday raided Burj al-Laqlaq stadium in the Old City of Jerusalem and removed all banners put up inside the building for the Jerusalem families league season.
The Israeli forces attacked the Palestinian citizens who were there and assaulted a number of them before forcing them all out of the stadium. They further arrested a Palestinian youth who was supposed to play in the sports event. Israeli forces detained early this morning 27 Palestinians from various parts of the occupied West Bank but mainly from the Ramallah district, including a 69-year-old man from Bethlehem area, said the Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS) and local sources.
Israeli forces detained at least 16 Palestinians, including two former prisoners, from the central West Bank district of Ramallah and al-Bireh.
Two were detained in Ramallah and neighboring al-Bireh, both considered Area A, which is under full Palestinian control, five others from Silwad town, east of Ramallah, another from al-Mughayyir town and another from Kafr Malik town, both towns to the northeast of Ramallah, two from al-Mazara'a al-Gharbiya town, another from Sinjil, north of Ramallah, one from Shuqba town, northwest of Ramallah, and three others from Beit Rima town, northwest of Ramallah.
During the unfolding confrontations in Beit Rima, soldiers fired stun and tear gas canisters at local youngsters who attempted to block their passage. No injuries were reported though.
The PPS said two Palestinians were also detained in the northern West Bank village of Usarin, south of Nablus.
In Jerusalem district, undercover Israeli forces, known as Musta'ribeen, ambushed and detaind three Palestinians, including a 16-year-old teen, from al-Eizariya town, east of Jerusalem.
In Hebron district in the south of the West Bank, Israeli military raided Dura town, south of Hebron, and detained one Palestinian.
In Bethlehem area, soldiers detained five Palestinians, including a 60-year-old man.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Monday arrested a number of Palestinian citizens from their homes in different West Bank areas.
Local residents said that 23 Palestinian citizens were abducted in different villages and towns in the districts of Nablus, Ramallah, and al-Khalil.
They added that the IOF soldiers searched several Palestinian homes and wreaked havoc on them.

The same sources added that the Israeli occupation forces abducted Mohammed Najeh Ayyad, Mohammed Raed Hamed, Fakhri Abdel Raouf Hamed, Jamil Hamed, Musa Mohammed Hammad from the town of Silwad in the east, Issam Ahmed Abu Alia from al-Mughayer and Luqman Hamayel from Kafr Malek.

Clashes erupted in the town of Beit Rima between the Israeli soldiers and a number of young men after the incursion.

Two Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails have joined the ongoing hunger strike against administrative detention, the Palestinian Prisoner Society said on Sunday.
The Palestinian Prisoner Society said that Naser al-Jada' and Thaer Hamdan started an open-ended hunger strike 12 and 7 days ago, respectively, in protest at their detention without charge or trial by the Israel Prison Service.
Eight Palestinian prisoners are now on hunger strike against their administrative detention. The first to start the strike was Huthaifa Halabiya 49 days ago and other detainees followed him. video
Halabiya's health condition is deteriorating while the Israel Prison Service completely ignores his demands and complaints and refuses to offer him medical help.

A number of Palestinian citizens were injured and arrested on Saturday evening during clashes in Tarabin village in the Negev after Israeli forces stormed the area.
Local sources said that the Israeli forces violently searched several homes in the village and arrested 10 residents, including minors.
The sources reported that scores of Palestinian citizens were wounded after being beaten by the Israeli forces during the attack.
About 240,000 Palestinians live in the Negev desert in villages and communities that were established hundreds of years ago. Israel does not recognize these communities and refuses to provide them with basic services in an attempt to push the residents to leave the area and make way for settlement construction.
