The Palestinian female prisoner Suad Rizeigat, 28, has gone on hunger strike since her arrest on Dec. 3 protesting the Israeli jailers’ ill-treatment against her, family sources said.
Suad, from Tafuh town in al-Khalil, is currently held in solitary confinement in Ramle prison in spite of her difficult heath situation due to her hunger strike declared nine days ago, her brother underlined.
The hunger striker’s brother called on human rights institutions and international women’s groups to immediately intervene for his sister’s release before it is too late, especially that she is held administratively in Israeli jails without charge or trial.
Suad was arrested from her family home in al-Khalil then held in administrative detention for four months.
She was arrested in 2008 and sentenced for one year and a half for being allegedly involved in attacks against Israelis. Her husband died after an Israeli settler deliberately ran over him only six months after their marriage.

The lawyer of 62-year-old Zeenat al-Jallad (Umm Ihab) said she would be released on Friday after the Israeli prosecutor agreed to give her a conditional release.
The lawyer explained that the Israeli terms of release stipulated that Umm Ihab, an elderly woman from Occupied Jerusalem, would spend five days under house arrest and 15 days away from the Old City, and pay a financial penalty of 2,000 Shekels.
Umm Ihab was arrested last Tuesday on allegations of her involvement in providing services to a banned group.

The invasion led to clashes with dozens of local youths, who hurled stones and empty bottles on the soldiers, while the army fired live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets and gas bombs.
Medical sources said the wounded Palestinians suffered mild-to-moderate injuries; one of them was shot with a live round in his arm, and four others were shot with rubber-coated steel bullets, in various parts of their bodies.
The wounded residents were transferred to the Palestine Medical Center in Ramallah, and received the needed medical treatment.
In addition, the soldiers kidnapped Mo’taz Abu Kweik, from the Qalandia refugee camo, while walking in the center of Ramallah city.
The clashes took place mainly in Rokkeb and Al-Manara streets. in the center of Ramallah city.

The Israeli occupation army claimed it had arrested last night the Palestinian who carried out a car-ramming attack earlier on the same day near Beit Aryeh settlement, west of Salfit city.
The Hebrew website Walla said the Israeli army with the help of the Shin Bet arrested on Thursday night 37-year-old Mohamed Abdul-Halim, a resident of al-Lubban al-Gharbi village, northwest of Ramallah.
According to Walla, the detainee is a Hamas-affiliated ex-detainee.

Sources based in the northern West Bank province of Tulkarem said the occupation army rolled into different towns and villages across the city before they ravaged Palestinian family homes in Shufa area and subjected the locals to exhaustive questioning.
The IOF further raked through Tulkarem’s Thenaba area under the pretext of chasing down a vehicle that attacked Israeli settlers.
The break-in culminated in the abduction of a number of Palestinian youths, mostly in their 20’s of age, from Thenaba.
Violent clashes further rocked Tulkarem’s refugee camp and resulted in the abduction of six Palestinian young men.
Three Palestinian ex-prisoners were also kidnapped by the IOF following clashes in the northern West Bank city of Jenin.
Local sources said the IOF rolled into Jenin in over 40 army jeeps and attacked the Palestinian protesters with spates of bullet fire before they backtracked and headed to the Jalama crossing in the early morning hours.

The Israeli police, for their part, said they arrested in the evening two Palestinian kids aged 13 and 14 near Bab al-Amoud area in the holy city. They accused the boys of throwing stones at an Israeli bus.

The 14-year old children Mustafa Abdeen from Al-Tur and Mohammad Abulhawa from Silwan were arrested on charges of throwing stones and spent several harsh hours at O’z interrogation center.
They were then transferred to Al-Maskobyeh detention center and then to Giv’on prison which has no mercy. Several sessions later, they were released on condition of house-arrest until completing the legal procedures against them. They are allowed to leave their homes only to attend court sessions. |

Undercover Israeli soldiers have kidnapped, Thursday, four Palestinian children as they were leaving their schools in the town of at-Tour, in occupied East Jerusalem, and two children in the Old City, and hurled a number of gas bombs. The soldiers also kidnapped two children in Jerusalem’s Old City, and two young men al-‘Eesawiyya.

An Israeli court has decided to retain the detention of 15-year-old Diana al-Rajbi, a Palestinian girl from al-Khalil, after receiving an appeal against her release, according to the Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS).
The PPS said that the military court in Ofer had issued earlier a verdict giving Diana a conditional release.
However, the court changed its decision after it received an appeal filed by the Israeli prosecutor against the release of the child, the PPS added.
As a result, a court hearing is slated to be held to look into the prosecutor's objection to her release.
In a separate incident, an Israeli court issued an order to administratively jail 53-year-old detainee Nada Saqr, a mother of two prisoners from al-Doha town in Bethlehem.
Legal sources told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that the court rejected an appeal filed by the lawyer of Saqr to release her on bail and rather ordered her administrative detention.
The sources affirmed that the elderly woman lost her consciousness in the courtroom after hearing the prison order against her.
Nada Saqr was detained as she was visiting her sons, Abdullah and Walid Saqr, in prison on November 28, 2015 on allegations of finding nail scissors in her purse.

The IOF soldiers also rounded up three Palestinians in Ramallah and al-Bireh governorate, two in Balaa town in Tulkarem, three in Nablus, a minor in Jenin and an ex-detainee in Tubas.
UPDATE: 31 Palestinians Kidnapped from West Bank
Israeli forces abducted 31 Palestinians overnight, including four minors, from various occupied West Bank districts, said the Palestinian Prisoner's Society (PPS) and security sources.
Israeli forces detained 10 Palestinians from Tulkarem district, seven from Jerusalem district, seven from Hebron district, three from Jenin district, two from Ramallah district, one from Bethlehem district and another from Jericho district, according to WAFA.
Ten Palestinians were taken from the northern West Bank district of Tulkarem, and identified as Ibrahim, 20, and Muhammad ‘Amar, Nimer Ibrahim, 16, Ibrahim Youssef, 22, ‘Omar, 20, and ‘Amer al-Ashqar, Muhammad Saruji, Ahmad Hamed, 22, ‘Ala’ Khalid and Mahmoud Farajallah.
In the Jerusalem district, Israeli police kidnapped three Palestinians identified as, Fahmi and Ahmad Salymeh, 16, and Ashraf Burqan, 18, after breaking into and ransacking their families’ houses in the Jerusalem neighborhood of ath-Thuri, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque compound.
Police also raided Qalandia refugee camp, to the north of Jerusalem, where they abducted Ibrahim Zayed, after breaking into and ransacking his house.
This came several hours after undercover Israeli units took a Palestinian minor from the vicinity of Qalandia military checkpoint. The detainee was identified as 15-year-old Sayf Abu Ltifa.
Police also detained two other Palestinians, according to PPS. They were identified as Malik Naser, and Nasim Qleib (or Klieb), 17.
Meanwhile in the southern West Bank district of Hebron, forces kidnapped Ahmad Abu Sneineh, 16, at the military checkpoint of Abu al-Rish in the southern section of Hebron city.
This came several hours after forces took a Palestinian identified as Saleh al-Rajabi, 30, after storming and searching his house in Hebron city.
Another Palestinian identified as ‘Ubaida Abu Sbeiha, 21, was taken as forces stormed his house during a raid into Yatta town, south of Hebron.
Furthermore, another Palestinian identified as ‘Imad Abu al-Jadayel, 21, was abducted as forces raided As-Samou‘ town, south of Hebron.
The detention raid came several hours after forces took a Palestinian from al-Fawwar refugee camp, south of Hebron ,on Wednesday evening.
Soldiers stationed at al-Container military checkpoint took Muhammad Az-Zida, 20, while he was travelling to his hometown.
Two more Palestinians were kidnapped from the Hebron district. They were identified, in a press release issued by PPS, as Ahmad Badawi and Muhammad Adh-Dhiba.
In the meantime, three Palestinians were detained from the northern West Bank city of Jenin. Israeli police detained the three men, who were not identified, from the northern Israeli city of Afula.
Furthermore, two more Palestinians were taken from the central West Bank district of Ramallah. The detainees were identified as ‘Ala’ al-Tamimi, from Nabi Saleh village, and Muhammad Tafesh.
Furthermore, forces abducted a Palestinian identified as ‘Abed Masalmeh from the southern West Bank city of Bethlehem.
Another Palestinian identified as Ahmad Drai‘at was taken from Jericho.

In the Jerusalem district, Israeli police kidnapped three Palestinians identified as, Fahmi and Ahmad Salymeh, 16, and Ashraf Burqan, 18, after breaking into and ransacking their families’ houses in the Jerusalem neighborhood of ath-Thuri, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque compound.
Police also raided Qalandia refugee camp, to the north of Jerusalem, where they abducted Ibrahim Zayed, after breaking into and ransacking his house.
This came several hours after undercover Israeli units took a Palestinian minor from the vicinity of Qalandia military checkpoint. The detainee was identified as 15-year-old Sayf Abu Ltifa.
Police also detained two other Palestinians, according to PPS. They were identified as Malik Naser, and Nasim Qleib (or Klieb), 17.
Meanwhile in the southern West Bank district of Hebron, forces kidnapped Ahmad Abu Sneineh, 16, at the military checkpoint of Abu al-Rish in the southern section of Hebron city.
This came several hours after forces took a Palestinian identified as Saleh al-Rajabi, 30, after storming and searching his house in Hebron city.
Another Palestinian identified as ‘Ubaida Abu Sbeiha, 21, was taken as forces stormed his house during a raid into Yatta town, south of Hebron.
Furthermore, another Palestinian identified as ‘Imad Abu al-Jadayel, 21, was abducted as forces raided As-Samou‘ town, south of Hebron.
The detention raid came several hours after forces took a Palestinian from al-Fawwar refugee camp, south of Hebron ,on Wednesday evening.
Soldiers stationed at al-Container military checkpoint took Muhammad Az-Zida, 20, while he was travelling to his hometown.
Two more Palestinians were kidnapped from the Hebron district. They were identified, in a press release issued by PPS, as Ahmad Badawi and Muhammad Adh-Dhiba.
In the meantime, three Palestinians were detained from the northern West Bank city of Jenin. Israeli police detained the three men, who were not identified, from the northern Israeli city of Afula.
Furthermore, two more Palestinians were taken from the central West Bank district of Ramallah. The detainees were identified as ‘Ala’ al-Tamimi, from Nabi Saleh village, and Muhammad Tafesh.
Furthermore, forces abducted a Palestinian identified as ‘Abed Masalmeh from the southern West Bank city of Bethlehem.
Another Palestinian identified as Ahmad Drai‘at was taken from Jericho.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Thursday kidnapped five Palestinians from different areas of al-Khalil province.
The Palestinian Information Center (PIC) reporter in al-Khalil said that the IOF kidnapped three citizens from their homes in the southern area of al-Khalil, al-Aroub refugee camp, and Yatta city.
The detainees are Saleh al-Rajbi, Ahmed Badwi and Obeida Abu Sabha.
Two university students called Imad Abul-Jadayel and Mohamed Diyba were also taken prisoners by Israeli soldiers at a military checkpoint near al-Samua town, south of al-Khalil.

The soldiers also kidnapped at least two Palestinians, during clashes in the Tulkarem refugee camp.
In addition, dozens of soldiers invaded a number of villages and towns, in Tulkarem district, and searched homes.
The soldiers invaded Ezbet Shoufa village, closed the road between it and the Avnei Hefetz illegal colony, and fired dozens of flares, causing fired in Palestinian agricultural lands.
The wounded Israeli settler is from the Avnei Hefetz, built on Palestinian lands belonging to residents from Shoufa and Kafr al-Lobbad towns, southeast of Tulkarem.
Resident Omar Sa’dy said the soldiers invaded his home, in Ezbet Shoufa village, searched the property while pointing their guns at him and his family, and confiscated surveillance tapes.
Soldiers and undercover officers also invaded various neighborhoods in Tulkarem city, closed all of its southern roads, and isolated nearby villages.
