Testimonies released by three Palestinian boys revealed that they had been made to endure systematic torture during and after detention by Israeli occupation forces.
Attorney Jacqueline Fararja, from the Palestine Prisoners Society, quoted 15-year-old Mohamed Sbeih, from al-Khader town, as stating that an Israeli patrol arrested him on December 18 before he was handcuffed and blindfolded.
He was later dragged to a military vehicle and subjected to heavy beating. Israeli soldiers hit him with their boots.
The child said the Israeli officers kept beating him on the way to DCO checkpoint in Bethlehem. He was later transferred to the Etzion detention center.
Lawyer Fararja said signs of heavy beating figure all over his body.
At the same time, 16-year-old Hadi Salah said Israeli soldiers arrested him and transferred him to DCO checkpoint, where he had been tied to a chair and left shivering for hours in the cold weather. He was later taken to the Etzion lock-up.
Meanwhile, Sai’d Abdul Rahman, 17, said an Israeli troop broke into his family home on December 17 and violently beat him up using boots and batons. Sai’d and his father were pepper-sprayed by the occupation forces before he was arrested.
Lawyer Anan Khader, who paid a visit to the detainee in Hawara detention center, said bruises and injuries still figure on his body.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Friday arrested five Palestinians during large-scale raids into different West Bank areas.
Local sources said that the IOF arrested Husni al-Najjar and Qutaiba al-Nawaj'a after raiding their houses in al-Khalil.
The sources added that the IOF arrested Jubran Jubran and another Palestinian whose identity is still unknown during Ramallah break-ins.
They pointed out that the IOF stormed several Palestinian shops in Ramallah, destroyed their doors, and confiscated their surveillance camera recordings.
The Israeli occupation army has earlier announced Ramallah a closed military zone and installed dozens of checkpoints at the entrances to Ramallah villages and towns following an alleged shooting attack on Ofra settlement.
The IOF at daybreak stormed the nearby Kobar village and raided many Palestinian homes.
Local residents said that the IOF broke into the houses of the Palestinian martyr Saleh al-Barghouti and his brother Asem, and took their measurements in preparation for their demolition.
Saleh al-Barghouti was shot dead on 12 December by Israeli special forces in Surda village, north of Ramallah.
The Israeli forces claim that Saleh carried out a shooting attack near Ofra settlement injuring seven Israeli settlers about two weeks ago.
Al-Barghouti's brother, Asem, whose whereabouts have been unknown lately, is accused of killing two Israeli soldiers in another shooting attack near Giv'at Asaf settlement, east of Ramallah.
The IOF last week blew up the houses of the Palestinian prisoner Islam Abu Hmeid and martyr Ashraf Na'alweh over similar accusations.

The Israeli occupation authorities announced their decision to file an indictment against a Jordanian worker on Friday allegedly after he carried out an assault on two Israelis in November.
Israeli claimed that a violent November assault on two Israelis by a Jordanian national employed at the Eilat port in southern Israel was a nationalistically motivated terror act.
After a nearly three-week investigation by the Shin Bet security service, prosecutors are ready to file an indictment against the Jordanian man, claiming he may not have been working alone and that individuals from a foreign country may have been involved in the attack.
On November 30, two Israelis were wounded when their Jordanian co-worker attacked them with a hammer, police claimed at the time.
The Jordanian man was arrested following the incident. Several hours later police said an initial probe had increased suspicions that the attack was nationalistically motivated.
Bilateral ties between Jordan and Israel sank to historic lows last year after an Israeli embassy guard shot and killed two Jordanian nationals.

Israeli soldiers abducted, on Thursday at night, a young Palestinian man at a military roadblock, in occupied Jerusalem, in the West Bank.
Eyewitnesses said the soldiers installed a military roadblock at the entrance of Shu’fat refugee camp, in the center of Jerusalem, before abducting a young man, identified as Malek Moheisin, and took him to an interrogation facility.
They added that the soldiers stopped and searched dozens of cars, and interrogated many Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards.
It is worth mentioning that the soldiers invaded many areas in Jerusalem, especially in Silwan and al-‘Isawiya.

Qassem Mohammad Ali Abasi, 17
Israeli soldiers killed, on Thursday evening, a Palestinian teen from occupied Jerusalem, and injured two others, after opening fire at their car near Beit El military roadblock, north of the al-Biereh city, in the central West Bank governorate of Ramallah and al-Biereh.
Media sources said the slain teen has been identified as Qassem Mohammad Ali Abasi, 17, from Silwan town, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem.
The wounded Palestinians have been identified as Mohammad Hani al-Abasi, 28, and two teens; Mohammad Ma’moun Abasi and his brother Mahmoud. They suffered mild-to-moderate wounds, before the army detained them, and moved them to a hospital.
The Israeli army claimed that the driver of the car “broke through the military roadblock,” before the soldiers opened fire at the car, seriously injuring Qassem, who succumbed to his wounds, and added that “it is still investigating the incident.”
Palestinian sources said Qassem was in a car transporting four Palestinians, all carrying Jerusalem ID cards, and just after arriving at Beit El military roadblock, the soldiers suspected that the car “was involved in a shooting” targeting a bus station on the colonialist road #60, close to Ofra illegal colony, east of Ramallah, although the distance between Ofra and Beit El is about 2 Kilometers, and the fatal shooting that killed Mohammad took place 40 minutes later.
Eyewitnesses said that members of Abasi family were driving two cars, returning to Jerusalem from Nablus, before one of the cars skidded due to the rain, and the soldiers opened fire at it.
The army closed Ofra junction after the alleged shooting at the bus station, and said that the soldiers fired back, before the army invaded Ein Yabrud nearby town.
Furthermore, the army completely closed various areas in the governorate, including the gate leading to the al-Jalazoun refugee camp, in addition to the towns of Deir Dibwan, Silwad, Doura al-Qare’, and Ein Siniya.
The soldiers also attacked many Palestinians at Ein Siniya Junction, north of Ramallah, after the army stopped and searched dozens of cars.
The soldiers also invaded Doura al-‘Qare’, and declared it a closed military zone, before storming and ransacking many shops, causing excessive damage after the soldiers claimed they were unable to find surveillance recordings in the stores. video
The soldiers fired gas bombs and concussion grenades at many Palestinian protesters, and prevented journalists and medics from entering the town.

The story of the Palestinian girl Wafa Mohamed is one of a kind as she has just got engaged to a Palestinian young man who is serving two life-terms in Israeli occupation prisons.
A native of Jerusalem’s town of al-Izriya, Wafa took the decision to get engaged to her life-sentenced relative Ahmad Isleim who has been incarcerated in Israeli occupation dungeons for 17 years running.
“This is the least I can do for my motherland and people. This is the price we—the Palestinians—have to pay in order to liberate our soil”, said Wafa.
“I met Ahmad the day I was transferred to an Israeli court through the so-called “bosta” vehicle. I stumbled upon Ahmed there, on the very day I was being taken to the Ofer court. The Israeli wardens subjected me to heavy beating and verbal abuse, to which Ahmad reacted by shouting at them.”
“Like any other Palestinian, Ahmad did not tolerate the fact that a girl was being beaten and abused in his presence”, added Wafa. “Ahmad was violently beaten by Israeli officers while being chained hand and feet.”
“When I went back to my prison cell I asked the lawyers about the identity of the detainee but I received no answer. I was released from jail shortly after.”
“After my release, a relative of my mother paid a visit to us. She presented herself as the mother of a prisoner who was sentenced to two life-terms and 25 years in Israeli jails.”
“I was surprised when the mother recounted that her son was aggressively beaten by Israeli prison officers. I immediately identified the detainee. He was the one who stood as my bullet proof vest in the ‘bosta’ vehicle,” stated Wafa.
Days later, both Ahmad and Wafa got engaged in absentia. Ahmad’s relatives asked for Wafa’s hands, which the latter accepted with “great pride.”
“Our engagement is a source of happiness for both of us”, said Wafa as she expressed her eagerness to visit her fiancé behind prison bars and talk to him about their shared dreams.
“However, our happiness cannot truly see the day before Ahmad and the other Palestinian prisoners are released from Israeli lock-ups. I hope that this will come true soon.”
Ahmad was also quoted as expressing his great joy and pride of the engagement, saying his fiancée epitomizes happiness and freedom for him.
“I’ve been used to write verse to describe Wafa. No words can describe her beauty and what she means to me. By giving me the chance to get engaged to her, I gained my freedom,” stated Ahmad.

The Palestinian Commission of Detainees’ and Ex-Detainees’ Affairs has accused the Israeli prison service (IPS) of persisting in medically neglecting the Palestinian prisoners who suffer from health problems.
In a statement on Wednesday, the Commission said that there are 12 Palestinian prisoners with different health problems in Ashkelon jail.
According to its statement, 21-year-old prisoner Basem al-Na’san from al-Mughayyir village in Jenin, has been waiting long for medical tests and an urgent surgical operation, while the administration of Ashkelon only paid him lip service until now.
Another prisoner called Mohamed Barrash, from Jalazoun refugee camp in Ramallah, suffers from a serious shrapnel injury in his left foot and he is in dire need of surgery.
Prisoner Rami Hijazi, a 38-year-old from Gaza, suffers from severe back problems and the Ashkelon administration seemingly does not care about giving him special physical therapy sessions to alleviate his pains.
The Commission affirmed that the IPS mostly provides the sick prisoners with painkillers and is stalling with regard to providing them with the appropriate medical treatment or examinations they need.

The Israeli army claimed responsibility for the abduction of six Palestinians overnight over allegations of involvement in anti-occupation activities and protests.
The campaign targeted Palestinian civilians and activists from Kober town, in Ramallah.
Local sources said Israeli soldiers wreaked havoc on civilian homes in Kober, including the homes of the relatives of prisoner Omar al-Barghouthi, the father of slain anti-occupation attacker Saleh al-Barghouthi. His wife had been subjected to intensive questioning.
Israeli patrols further stormed Tubas city, north of occupied Jerusalem, and ransacked civilian homes.

Israel’s Salem military court refused on Wednesday evening to release the mother and brother of the slain Palestinian anti-occupation attacker Ashraf Na’luwa.
The Commission of Prisoners’ and Ex-Prisoners’ Affairs said the Salem court turned down an appeal filed by the family’s attorney to release Wafa Mahdawi and her son Amjad on a bail.
The lawyer will file another appeal at the Ofer court to push for releasing the two detainees on account that the indictment list is groundless and counterfeit.
The list of indictments filed by the Israeli occupation authorities against Ashraf’s mother and brother includes allegations that they both knew about Ashraf’s intent to carry out an anti-occupation attack and obstructed police work by hiding surveillance cameras installed at the family home.
