Israeli occupation authorities continue to administratively detain a Palestinian mother of two, Shorouq Mohammad al-Badan, 25 years old, from Bethlehem, despite her deteriorated health condition, the Commission of Detainees’ Affairs said, on Sunday.
The committee pointed out, after the detainee’s lawyer visited her at al-Damon Prison, that she is suffering from severe stomach pain, as she is vomiting blood, noting that she receives no medical attention.
After Israeli forces broke into her house, al-Badan had been detained on June 15, 2019, and held at a solitary cell, in Hasharon prison, for five days, the committee indicated.
It also pointed out that the cell lacks ventilation and light, and it smells bad due to the existence of a toilet inside, which led her to suffering from psychological and health problems.
The commission noted that Israeli authorities issued a six-month order of administrative detention against al-Badan, and rejected an appeal submitted by the committee’s lawyer against the order.
Al Ray Palestinian Media Agency notes that at least 38 Palestinian female detainees are being held inside the Israeli prison of al-Damon, two of them under administrative detention.
Close to 500 Palestinians are currently being held under Israel’s illegal policy of administrative detention, under which prisoners can be held for renewable six-month periods without charge or trial.
According to Palestinian figures, about 5,700 Palestinians, including 38 women and 250 children, are currently languishing in Israeli detention centers.

A Palestinian child on Sunday was injured when Israeli soldiers assaulted him during clashes in Tell village in Nablus, north of the occupied West Bank.
According to the Palestinian Red Crescent, 16-year-old Omar Ramadan suffered a fracture in one of his feet when soldiers assaulted him during the events in Tell village.
Abdul-Fattah Ramadan, the kid’s father, said that Israeli soldiers chased his son and assaulted him, causing him to suffer a fracture in his right foot, adding that Omar was detained for about two hours in Gilad settlement before releasing him.
The kid was transferred to Rafidia Hospital where doctors said he would need surgery.
According to the Palestinian Red Crescent, 16-year-old Omar Ramadan suffered a fracture in one of his feet when soldiers assaulted him during the events in Tell village.

Israeli soldiers abducted, on Monday at dawn, six Palestinians from their homes in the West Bank governorates of Hebron, Bethlehem and Ramallah, in addition to attacking protesters in Bethlehem, Jenin and Ramallah.
In Hebron city, in the southern part of the West Bank, the soldiers invaded and searched several homes, and ab ducted Ali Abbas Sharabati, 20, Salahuddin Nabeeh Sharabati, 18, Sajed Hasan al-Qitta, 29, and Azzam Abdul-Rahim Shweiki, 28.
The soldiers also invaded the home of a former political prisoner, identified as Luay Faisal Hashlamoun, 36, in Hebron city, and summoned him for interrogation.
In addition, the soldiers installed roadblocks on the main entrances of Sa’ir and Halhoul town, in addition to Hebron’s northern road in Jouret Bahlas area, and its southern road in al-Fahs area, before stopping and searching dozens of cars and interrogated many Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards.
In Bethlehem, south of occupied Jerusalem, the soldiers invaded the al-Fawaghra neighborhood, in the center of the city, searched homes and abducted Mohammad Issa Abu Omar, 24.
In al-Biereh city, near Ramallah in central West Bank, the soldiers invaded Um ash-Sharayet neighborhood, and abducted Ahmad Abu Latifa, from his home.
It is worth mentioning that the soldiers fired several live rounds, gas bombs, concussion grenades and rubber-coated steel bullets at Palestinians protesting the invasions into Doha city, west of Bethlehem, and in Jenin refugee camp, in Jenin, in northern West Bank.
Furthermore, media sources in Jenin said armed resistance fighters fired several live rounds at the army jeeps during the invasion into Jenin refugee camp.

Silwanic said the soldiers abducted Ahmad Khalil Kleib, 12, and his brother, Mohammad, 16, after storming and ransacking their home in the al-‘Isawiya town in Jerusalem. video

Media sources said the soldiers invaded Sielet ath-Thaher town, south of the northern West Bani city of Jenin, before storming and ransacking the Abu Diak family home, causing property damage.
They added that the soldiers detained the family in one room, and interrogated them for several hours while violently searching the property.
The soldiers also invaded Jenin city, and fired many gas bombs and concussion grenades at random, in addition to driving around provocatively.
It is worth mentioning that Sami Abu Diak, 36, died on November 26th, 2019, due to serious complications from cancer after Israel failed to provide him with the needed medical care. He was diagnosed with intestinal cancer in September of 2015.
Sami Abu Diak was serving three life-terms and additional thirty years in prison; his death came after he spent seventeen years behind bars.

Palestinian prisoners in Ashkelon jail said they found the conditions in the prison chaotic and disastrous after they returned to it from Nafha prison, where they had been transferred one month ago as a punitive measure.
This came in a statement released on Sunday by the Palestinian Commission of Detainees’ and Ex-Detainees’ Affairs following a recent visit by its lawyer to Ashkelon jail.
Upon their return to the jail, the prisoners found torn Qur’an books lying on floors and all their belongings and clothes tampered with and dumped in the yard as well as insulting writings against them and the Islamic religion here and there.
The Commission pointed out that the Ashkelon administration recently took punitive measures against other prisoners in the jail and transferred nine of them to different prisons.
On October 23, Israeli prison forces stormed cells in Ashkelon jail and embarked on assaulting prisoners and wreaking havoc on their belongings before transferring many of them to Nafha prison.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Sunday kidnaped seven Palestinian citizens in the West Bank.
A statement released by the Israeli army affirmed that the IOF arrested seven Palestinians in West Bank campaigns, labeling them as wanted.
According to local sources said that Israeli soldiers stormed and ransacked the house of ex-detainee Louay al-Hashlamun in Wadi Abu Katila area of al-Khalil city, without making arrests.
The IOF also raided a house in Teqoa town, southeast of Bethlehem, and handed a teenager called Osama al-Badan a summons for interrogation from the Shin Bet.
Other areas of the West Bank also saw IOF campaigns, especially in Azzun town in Qalqilya where clashes took place between local youths and soldiers.

Meanwhile in Bethlehem, also in the southern West Bank, Israeli troops abducted Amer Ali Dhuib and Hafez Dauw , while another teenager, Osama Ali al-Badan (16), received a notification to report to a nearby interrogation center for questioning.
Izz al-Din Freihat, from al-Yamoun village, was abducted in front of Tayyar checkpoint. He is also a former prisoner.
