Six Palestinian youths from al-Isawiya village in Jerusalem were sentenced to house arrest by an Israeli court on Thursday, the Palestinian Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs Commission said.
According to the commission, the detainees are Saleh Abu Asab, Anwar Obeid, Nedal Ghannam, Fayez Moheisen, Mohammed Elyyan and Mohammed Mustafa.
Based on the court order, the six-month house arrest will be limited to night hours only.
The detainees were accused of taking part in anti-Israel demonstrations and Molotov cocktail throwing attacks.

In a press release, the Palestine Prisoners’ Society (PPS) stated that Israeli forces detained at least seven Palestinians, overnight Wednesday, in multiple incursions across the West Bank, the Palestinian News and Info Agency (WAFA) reported.
Israeli forces rounded up two Palestinians from the northern West Bank district of Qalqilia, one of the detainees, 36, suffers from head and spinal injuries as a result of a traffic accident in 2016.
Elsewhere in the northern West Bank, a resident of the Jenin refugee camp was detained after being stopped at a military checkpoint near Nablus city.
PPS also confirmed an Israeli military invasion in Qarawat Bani Hassan town, located to the northwest of Salfit, resulting in the detention of a Palestinian.
In Jericho region, two Palestinian teens, identified as residents of Aqabat Jabr refugee camp, located to southwest of Jericho city, were detained after being summoned by the Israeli intelligence.
In Hebron district, Israeli military vehicles invaded Bani Neim town, where soldiers abducted one Palestinian.
Meanwhile, Israeli police ordered the nighttime house arrest of six Palestinian youths from the Jerusalem neighborhood of al-‘Isawiya.

Israeli military forces arrested, on Wednesday, a Palestinian man in the occupied city of East Jerusalem, for allegedly stabbing an Israeli settler, Press TV reported.
Israeli media outlets stated that an unidentified Israeli settler, sustained serious wounds, when an unidentified Palestinian man stabbed him near the illegal Har Homa settlement in East Jerusalem.
The Israeli settler was reportedly transferred to the Shaare Zedek Medical Center in critical condition, where he later died of his injuries.
Tensions continue between Israeli soldiers and Palestinians protesting against the Israel’s expropriation of their lands and settlement expansion activities.
Not to mention the daily oppression, segregation, arrests and harassment suffered by Palestinians, at the hands of the Israeli soldiers and settlers.
Under the Fourth Geneva convention, all Israeli settlements are deemed illegal, as the occupying power, Israel is forbidden to transfer members of its population onto the land it occupies.

The father of Palestinian prisoner Mays Abu Ghosh, from Qalandiya refugee camp in Occupied Jerusalem, has said that his daughter has been exposed to excruciating torture at the hands of Israeli interrogators in the Maskubiya detention center.
Abu Hussein told Asra Media Office that he and his wife had not recognized their daughter when they met her in the Maskubiya detention center several weeks after she got arrested, adding that they was able to know their daughter when she smiled and talked.
He said that they were stunned to see her in such appalling condition, which reflected the enormity of torture and suffering she had endured.
“The interrogators brought a tired and exhausted girl whose appearance spoke about the harsh days she had gone through, and I got upset at the time and told the interrogators that she was not my daughter, but she smiled at me and then I calmed down a little and my mind started to drown in questions about what she went through,” Mays’s father explained.
The Israeli occupation forces kidnaped Mays Abu Ghosh, a Birzeit University student, last August.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Tuesday arrested a Palestinian child near the Ibrahimi Mosque in al-Khalil, Israeli media sources reported.
According to Israel Hayom newspaper, the IOF soldiers stationed at the entrance of the Ibrahimi Mosque arrested a Palestinian child after they searched him claiming that he was carrying a knife.
The child was taken to a nearby detention center for interrogation. No further information was given on the incident.
Dozens of Palestinians have been arrested or extra judicially killed over various allegations by the IOF at Israeli checkpoints in the Ibrahimi Mosque area.

According to the PPS statement, another undergraduate student enrolled in Beirzeit University, a resident of Bethlehem district, was detained from his dormitory in al-Bireh city.
In the Ramallah district, Israeli forces stormed Silwad town, east of Ramallah, resulting in the detention of two Palestinians.
Another Palestinian was detained in a similar offensive in Beitunia city, west of Ramallah.
Meanwhile, 15 Palestinians were rounded up from Jerusalem district, from Beit Duqqu town, and Jerusalem neighborhoods of Issawiyeh, Ras al-Amoud and al-Tur.
In Bethlehem district, an Israeli military operation was conducted in Beit Fajjar town, south of Bethlehem, resulting in the detention of three Palestinians, including a 16-year-old minor.
In the meantime, PPS said that five Palestinians, including a 16-year-old disabled person, were detained from Hebron district.
Security sources identified two of the detainees as residents of Hebron city, two others as residents of Beit Ummar town, and another as a resident of Halhul town.
A similar predawn incursion was confirmed in Aqabat Jabr, a refugee camp situated to the southwest of Jericho city, resulting in the detention of one Palestinian.

The Israeli occupation police on Monday decided to ban four Jerusalemite women from entering the Aqsa Mosque for several days after detaining them earlier in the morning.
According to local sources, the police released the women after handing them an order prohibiting their entry to the Mosque and its premises for 10 days.
In the morning, Israeli police forces rounded up and physically assaulted four women during their presence in the Mosque’s Bab al-Rahma prayer building.
They were identified as Umm Ayman as-Sous, Umm Mohamed ash-Shiyoukhi, Umm Annan Ghurab and Ilham Abu Subaih.
According to local sources, the police released the women after handing them an order prohibiting their entry to the Mosque and its premises for 10 days.
