Israeli soldiers attacked, on Friday evening, several Palestinians at the entrance of the Shuhada Street, in the center of Hebron city, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank.
Media sources said the soldiers, stationed on the permanent military roadblock at the entrance of Shuhada Street, assaulted with clubs and batons many Palestinians, causing various injuries.
They added that the soldiers attacked the Palestinians when they protested the detention of a young man, who was held at the military roadblocks.

Israeli soldiers abducted, Thursday, the head of Shu’fat Town Council, and a member of the council, northeast of occupied East Jerusalem.
Media sources said the soldiers abducted the head of the Town Council, Ishaq Abu Khdeir, and a member of the council, Nasser Abu Khdeir.
The two were apparently taken prisoner for calling for a procession in front of the local mosque, after groups of illegal Israeli colonialist settlers escalated their invasions and violations in the area.
In recent attacks by the illegal Israeli squatters, the colonists punctured the tires of more than 186 Palestinian cars, and wrote racist graffiti on walls of homes, the local mosque and many cars.

Scores of Palestinian citizens on Friday participated in a sit-in staged in Shu’fat town, east of Occupied Jerusalem, in protest at recent attacks by extremist Jewish settlers.
The sit-in, which was organized outside the Shu’fat Mosque, was called for by the local council in protest at the acts of vandalism that had been committed recently by settlers in the town.
The town had been exposed to several sporadic attacks on property before, but last Monday settlers infiltrated overnight into its neighborhoods and ruined tires of over 186 vehicles and defaced walls of buildings with insults and threats against the local residents.
Head of the town local council Ishaq Abu Khudair told WAFA news agency that the sit-in was staged as part the recommendations that were adopted during a recent meeting held by local personages to explore mechanisms to confront settlers’ crimes.

Dozens of Palestinian protesters were reportedly wounded while others were arrested during the Israeli crackdown on weekly peaceful protests along the separation fence in Gaza, and throughout the West Bank.

Israeli authorities have been urged by the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) to immediately release Palestinian journalist, Sameh Al-Titi, or to disclose any charges against him, Middle East Monitor reported.
Al-Titi, a reporter for the Hebron University-affiliated broadcaster Radio Alam, was arrested by Israeli occupation forces on 9 December, at his home in al-Arroub refugee camp, in the southern West Bank.
According to CPJ, Al-Titi is being held at the Petah Tikva interrogation facility, near Tel Aviv, and that “authorities have not disclosed any reason for his arrest or any charges against him.”
Sameh’s brother Alaa, was reported to posted on Facebook on 11 December, that a military court prevented his brother from meeting with a lawyer, and extended his detention for an additional eight days while authorities conduct an investigation.”
“We are very concerned about the arrest of Sameh al-Titi, given Israel’s frequent use of legal measures, including administrative detention, to keep journalists in jail without bringing any charges against them,” CPJ Middle East and North Africa Representative, Ignacio Miguel Delgado declared.
“Israeli authorities should immediately explain why they are holding al-Titi or let him go”.
Alaa al-Titi also described on Facebook, how Israeli forces seized his brother’s laptop and mobile phone during the invasion.
It was noted that “one day before his arrest, al-Titi published an article on the Quds News Network criticizing the Israeli government for using sports to bolster its international reputation.”
The Israeli occupation authorities have yet to reply to the group’s request for comment.

Medical sources said the soldiers shot one medic with a rubber-coated steel bullet in the leg and caused dozens of Palestinians to suffer the effects of teargas inhalation.
The soldiers also abducted a young woman, who is a student at Birzeit University, identified as Shatha Majed Hasan, from her home in Ein Misbah neighborhood.
In addition, the soldiers abducted Malek al-Lowzi, 25, from his home in Betunia town, west of Ramallah.
Protests also took place in Beit Rima town, northwest of Ramallah, when the soldiers invaded it before storming and ransacking many homes.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Wednesday evening kidnaped a Palestinian woman near Nablus city in the northern West Bank.
According to Israel’s Channel 13, soldiers rounded up a woman after stopping the car she was aboard and searching it at the Jit junction in the west of Nablus city.
The channel said that the woman chanted “Death to Jews” from a public car, prompting the soldiers to arrest her, claiming that she was also found in possession of a knife.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Wednesday arrested a Palestinian woman after summoning her for interrogation in Beit Duqqu village, northwest of Jerusalem.
Local residents reported that Zakia Ali Husein, 30, was arrested once she arrived for questioning by the IOF.
They said that Zakia's husband was kidnapped by the IOF only a few days ago.
