Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) rounded up at dawn Friday nine Palestinians and summoned seven others in a storming campaign carried out in Occupied Jerusalem and Bethlehem.
Head of Jerusalem Committee for Families of Prisoners Amjad Abu Asab told Quds Press that Israeli forces arrested two Palestinians in Silwan town and summoned the father of one of the detainees to be questioned.
Radio Israel reported that Israeli troops arrested seven Palestinians, including two minors, in Aidah refugee camp north of Bethlehem. The IOF soldiers summoned six youngsters for questioning after storming Taqoa town. Another man from Bethlehem city was summoned as well.

The family of Palestinian prisoners Ahmed and Mahmoud Nassar has expressed concern over the lives of its sons after jailers took them to an unknown place following the stabbing attack in the Negev jail.
Mohamed Nassar, the brother of the two prisoners, appealed on Thursday to the Red Cross and human rights groups to swiftly intervene to know the fate and whereabouts of his brothers, who were in the same cell in the Negev jail.
Nassar said that the family was trying hard to obtain any information about his brothers after one of them injured a prison officer in his face with a blade.
He added that his brother Ahmed, who attacked the officer, had spent 14 months of his two-year prison term and Mahmoud finished four years of his six-year prison term.
Prisoner Ahmed Nassar, from Madama village in Nablus, was able on Wednesday to stab an Israeli officer in the Negev jail in response to the jailers’ oppressive practices against the detainees.

Israeli courts on Thursday extended the detention of prisoners Mohamed al-Qiq, a journalist, and Shafiq al-Halabi, a martyr’s father, for five days at the pretext of pending further investigations.
Fayha Shalash, Qiq’s wife, said that the military court in Ofer extended the detention of her husband until next monday.
Quds Press quoted Shalash as saying that the Israeli authorities transferred Qiq from Hadarim jail to Ofer military base, where he was subjected to hours of questioning in an attempt to condemn him and prepare an indictment against him.
She pointed out that the Shin Bet seeks to level charges against her husband and his friends to punish them for participating in events held in solidarity with families of martyrs and prisoners.
For its part, the Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS) said that the military court at al-Muskubiya interrogation center, west of Occupied Jerusalem, extended the detention of Shafiq al-Halabi, the father of martyr Muhand, for five days.
The PPS noted that Halabi was arrested after his participation in sit-in tents and rallies following the death of his son, affirming that he started a hunger strike in protest at his detention with no guilt.
Israeli policemen shot dead his son, Muhand al-Halabi, on October 3, 2015 after he carried out a stabbing operation that led to the killing of three Jewish settlers.

Eyewitnesses told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that Israeli soldiers and policemen intercepted the vehicle at the junction of Zububa town west of Jenin, kidnapped the driver and took him to a nearby military base.
They added that the soldiers physically assaulted him and confiscated the young man’s car.
There is still no information about the identity of the detained young man.

Two Israeli policemen were slightly injured on Thursday evening in an anti-occupation car-ramming attack in Occupied Jerusalem.
Israeli 0404 website revealed that a Palestinian woman crashed her car into an Israeli police patrol car near Adam settlement to the northeast of Occupied Jerusalem.
Israeli police arrested the Palestinian woman who carried out the attack. Meanwhile, Israeli reinforcements arrived at the scene.

The Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) said in a statement that the IPS notified the detainees of a mass break-in by the Israeli special units into sections 2 and 3 in the Negev lock-up, threatening to violently quell any projected protests.
PPS warned of an imminent explosion to flare up across Israeli jails due to the unabated aggressions launched by the IPS and Israeli special forces against the Palestinian detainees.
The prisoners information office also said the IPS closed Hamas prison sections in all Israeli jails and transferred 30 detainees affiliated with the group in the Nafha prison to a yet unknown destination.
IPS further cut off power in Negev jail as part of its mounting crackdowns against the detainees.
