The Israel Prison Service (IPS) on Sunday transferred all Palestinian prisoners in Ashkelon jail to other different prisons.
Lawyer of the Palestinian Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs Commission, Karim Ajwa, said that the IPS evacuated all prisoners in Ashkelon jail and sent them to other Israeli prisons.
Ajwa added in a brief press statement that there is no clear details yet on the reason for this move.

Media sources said the soldiers ambushed a group of children near the main entrance of the refugee camp, and abducted Mohammad Raed Dalaysha, 12.
They added that the soldiers repeatedly assaulted the child before abducting him, and took him to an unknown destination.
The soldiers also chased many Palestinians, mainly children, but were unable to detain them.
The incident took place after the soldiers attacked dozens of protesters, and fired rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs and concussion grenades.

Israeli soldiers killed, Saturday, one Palestinian, injured at least eight others, and abducted four, in addition to demolishing a room and a barn, during a massive invasion into Burqin town, west of the northern West Bank city of Jenin.
The Palestinian Health Ministry has confirmed that, on Saturday evening, the soldiers shot Ahmad Samir Abu ‘Obed, 19, with a live round in his head, in Wadi Burqin, west of Jenin city, causing a very serious injury, before medics rushed him to Jenin Governmental Hospital, where he died from his wounds. The Ministry added that the soldiers also shot two young Palestinian men with live rounds in their legs, and six others with rubber-coated steel bullets, in addition to causing dozens to suffer the severe effects of teargas inhalation, after the army attacked local who protested the invasion.
The army also abducted four young Palestinian men, and demolished a room and a barn, in addition to causing damage to several structures and cars, before withdrawing from the town.
The WAFA Palestinian News Agency reported that the invasion was carried out by twenty-two armored military vehicles, and two bulldozers, and added that the soldiers invaded and ransacked many homes, and used K9 units in searching the properties, causing anxiety attacks among many Palestinians, especially children.
After the army withdrew from the town, hundreds of Palestinians marched in Ahmad’s funeral procession, while chanting against the ongoing Israeli military occupation and escalation and calling for ongoing struggle until liberation and independence.
The Israeli invasion into several areas in the Jenin Governorate started after the soldiers invaded Kafeer village, south of the city, after surrounding it and declaring it a closed military zone.
The soldiers conducted extensive military searches of homes and abducted two siblings, identified as Thieb Walid Ershaid, 43, and his brother Qa’qaa, 42, after surrounding their homes.
The shooting death of Abu Ob’ed came during the invasion of Wadi Burqin by the Israeli military early Friday morning to besiege the home where the army believed that the wanted man Ahmad Nasr Jarrar was hiding.
Ahmad Nasr Jarrar is wanted by the Israeli military for allegedly killing an Israeli settler on January 8th.
Following that Jan. 8th killing, the Israeli military invaded a number of nearby villages and conducted house-to-house searches. On January 18th, the Israeli army besieged a home where they mistook Ahmad Ismail Jarrar for his cousin, and killed him.
The army offered no apology or compensation for the mistaken identity assassination.

Israeli soldiers invaded, on Saturday at dawn, al-Kafeer town, southeast of the northern West Bank city of Jenin, and surrounded a home where a Palestinian who is believed behind death of an Israeli colonialist settler last month was alleged to be hiding.
Media sources in Jenin said a large military force, including 22 military vehicles and 2 armored bulldozers, invaded the town and surround the home of Walid Ershaid, and started using loud speakers demanding Ahmad Jarrar to surrender. The Israeli military said they thought Jarrar was hiding out in the house.
It should be noted that on January 18th, Israeli soldiers executed the cousin of Ahmad Jarrar after mistaking him for Ahmad.
The sources added that the soldiers imposed a strict siege on the entire area, and completely blockaded the main Tubas-Jenin road.
Sounds of explosions could be heard in and around the surrounded home, and its vicinity.
Media sources in Jenin said the troops eventually withdrew without finding Jarrar.

Israeli central court in Jerusalem on Friday issued indictments against seven activists of the Islamic Movement and its charities for the charge of belonging to a banned group.
The Kan Hebrew radio said that the seven members work at Aman Association for Humans and Buildings and The Jerusalem Gardens Foundation which are affiliated with the Islamic Movement in Jerusalem.
Israeli forces arrested the seven activists in March and April, 2017 and charged them of affiliation with a “terrorist” organization and the involvement in implementing 30 charity projects mostly in Occupied Jerusalem. They were released on various conditions including house arrest.
Israeli forces banned the Islamic Movement in November, 2015, closed over 20 of its charities and blacklisted it as a terrorist organization.

The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) on Thursday released Palestinian prisoner Tareq al-Samhan, 31, a member of al-Qassam Brigades of Hamas, after 13 years in Israeli jails.
Local sources told the IOA released Samhan from the Negev jail after completing his prison term, adding that dozens of his relatives and friends received him at al-Dahirya checkpoint in al-Khalil and upon his arrival in Nablus.
Samhan, a resident of Nablus Old City, was kidnapped in 2005 and underwent harsh interrogation for about 72 days before he was sentenced to life in prison on charges of his affiliation with al-Qassam Brigades and carrying out attacks against Israeli targets.
Later, however, his lawyer was able to extract a court verdict that reduced the sentence to 13 years.

Earlier on Thursday evening, four Palestinians were also detained as they attempted to cross the border from the Gaza Strip into Israel.
According to Israeli reports, the fifth detainee was observed by IOF spotters as he approached the border fence and he was rounded up immediately after crossing over into Israel.
The detainee was unarmed when he was arrested, the sources added.
He was then taken away for investigation.
Due to the constraints on Palestinian movement through the crossing, many Gazans are commonly barred from leaving or entering the besieged coastal enclave, some for months at a time, as the crossing is only periodically opened by Egyptian authorities, stranding Palestinians on both sides of the terminal.
The decade-long Israeli blockade has plunged the Gaza Strip’s two million Palestinians into extreme poverty and into the highest unemployment rates in the world.

The spokesman of Fateh movement in the refugee camp, Thaer Fasfoos, explained that violent clashes broke out near the military checkpoint in the refugee camp where young men threw Molotov Cocktails towards the monitoring tower in the area.
Fasfoos added that the forces heavily fired sound grenades and rubber bullets to disperse the young men, and closed the checkpoint for more than an hour an d prevented locals from entering or leaving the refugee camp. The forces arrested five youths aged between 12-16 years and transferred them for interrogation.

Sometime later, the family of Palestinian prisoner Jamal Abu al-Heija said their eldest son, Abdul Salem, also an ex-prisoner, was kidnapped from the targeted car. Another son of al-Heija’s, Emad, was kidnapped just a few hours later from the family’s home in Jenin.
The occupation forces further broke into the home of the former Minister of Prisoners’ Affairs, Wasfi Qubha, and kidnapped his son Osama.
Ex-prisoner Mo’tasem Steiti, the son of the Hamas activist in Jenin Omar Steiti, along with four other Palestinians, were kidnapped by the IOF from the city.
Two young men—Rami al-Bazara, from Nablus, and Wasfi Kubha, from Jenin—were also kidnapped in the process.
The sweep culminated in the abduction of at least eight other young men mostly in their early 20s.

In addition, the soldiers invaded the al-Jalazoun refugee camp, north of Ramallah in central West Bank, searched homes and abducted Ahmad Amer Dabbour.
The soldiers also invaded Deir Istiya village, east of Salfit, in northwestern West Bank, and violently searched several homes while interrogating many Palestinians, and inspecting their ID cards.
In related news, the soldiers invaded and ransacked dozens of homes in Beit Ummar and Yatta towns, in the southern West Bank governorate of Hebron.

Israeli soldiers abducted, on Wednesday evening, two Palestinian children near the northern entrance of the West Bank city of Bethlehem.
The Bethlehem office of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) has reported that the soldiers abducted the two children near Bilal Bin Rabat Mosque, and took them to an unknown destination.
It identified the two abducted children as Nader Samir Shallash, 14, from Doha town, west of Bethlehem, and Moayyad Khaled Jawarish, 13, from Beit Jala city.
The two were handcuffed and blindfolded, before the soldiers took them to an unknown destination.

Undercover Israeli soldiers kidnapped, on Wednesday evening, a young Palestinian man, after intercepting his car, and forcing him out of it at gunpoint, from a main road on the western part of the northern West Bank city of Nablus.
An Eyewitness said the undercover soldiers were driving an unmarked car, before ramming it into the car of the Palestinian.
He added that, almost instantly after this incident, another car sped to the area, before four armed undercover officers jumped out of it, and pointed their guns at the Palestinian, while shooting at him in Hebrew, and threw him into their car.
The undercover officers then sped out of the city, heading towards army jeeps, and took the kidnapped Palestinian to an unknown destination
