The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) has reported that Israeli soldiers abducted, overnight until early morning hours, Tuesday, eighteen Palestinians from their homes in several parts of the occupied West Bank.
The PPS said that the soldiers broke into and ransacked many homes in various communities in the West Bank, and interrogated several Palestinians, before abducting eighteen.
It also stated that the soldiers have abducted 71 Palestinians in the northern West Bank governorate of Jenin, in the last twenty days, since the army started extensive invasions to locate Ahmad Nassr Jarrar, 22, who was assassinated by the army on Tuesday before dawn.
The soldiers attacked the detainees with clubs and batons, and used k9 units in searching the homes and many residents.
Dozens of soldiers also invaded ‘Aseeda and the ath-Thaher areas, in Beit Ummar town, north of the southern West Bank city of Hebron, and carried out extensive searched of homes, and lands.

Israeli soldiers abducted, on Tuesday at dawn, at least ten Palestinians in Qalqilia, Jenin and Salfit governorates, in the occupied West Bank, and confiscated a laptop from the home of a former political prisoner in Bethlehem.
The Qalqilia office of the Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) has reported that the soldiers invaded and searched several homes in the city, and abducted Abdul-Fattah Hijazi, 15, Khaled Fayeq Hassan and Mohammad Jamil Qar’aan.
The soldiers also shot a young man with rubber-coated steel bullets, after many Palestinians protested the invasion.
In addition, the soldiers invaded and ransacked many homes in Sielet al-Harithiyya town, west of the northern West Bank city of Jenin, and abducted Ibrahim Mousa Tahaina, and Maan Yahia Tahaina, both are former political prisoners, in addition to Mohammad Mousa Abu Shaqra.
The soldiers fired many live rounds into home of Ibrahimi Tahaina, before storming into it, and abducted him.
The PPS also stated that dozens of soldiers invaded Deir Istiya town, northwest of Salfit, in northwestern West Bank, searched and ransacked homes, and abducted Ahmad Hosni Mansour, Montaser al-Qaisi, Mohammad Radi Abdullah and Yousef Othman Thiab.

Two Palestinians were arrested while two others were shot and injured with live ammunition during the Israeli military campaign in Burqin town, west of Jenin.

Scores of Jewish settlers stormed al-Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem on Monday and roamed its plazas under tightened security measures by Israeli police.
Feras al-Debbis, media official of Islamic Endowment Department, said that 59 Jewish settlers were allowed to roam the courtyards of the holy shrine in both morning and afternoon terms.
Israeli policemen along with heavily armed Special Forces offered protection to the settlers during their incursion into al-Aqsa Mosque from the Israeli-controlled al-Magharebah gate and while performing Talmudic rituals at the holy site.
Israeli police also arrested Samer Mujahed, employee of the endowment department. He was transferred to an investigation center in the Old City of Occupied Jerusalem.

Salem military court postponed on Monday the trial of the prominent Palestinian prisoner Khader Adnan to February 28, rights group reported.
Al-Mujahat al-Quds Foundation said that his trial was postponed to allow his lawyer to examine his case file.
Sheikh Adnan, a father of six children, was detained 11 times, most recently was on December 12, 2017 when Israeli forces violently stormed his house and attacked his family members.
He earlier waged a 66-day hunger strike in 2012 in protest against his illegal administrative detention and another strike for 56 days in 2014 in protest against his re-arrest.
Al-Mujahat al-Quds Foundation said that his trial was postponed to allow his lawyer to examine his case file.

61-year-old Palestinian detainee Rizq al-Rajoub has resumed his open-ended hunger strike protesting an Israeli court rule to extend his administrative detention.
According to a Monday statement by the Prisoners’ and Ex-Prisoners’ Commission, Israeli Ashkelon military court extended his detention administratively up to 6 new months.
Rajoub, a native of al-Khalil’s town of Dura, in the southern occupied West Bank, was arrested on November 27, 2017 and given two options either to be deported outside Palestine or to serve an administrative detention sentence.
On December 23, Rajoub started an open hunger strike which he suspended on January 15 after promises to end his administrative detention.
Prisoner Rajoub had previously been locked up for a total of 23 years in Israeli jails, including 10 years in administrative detention, with neither charge nor trial.

An Israeli undercover unit kidnapped Monday afternoon a Palestinian young man from Barqin town, west of the northern West Bank city of Jenin.
Local sources told PIC reporter that an elite Israeli undercover unit that disguises themselves as Arabs stormed the town in a civilian car before kidnapping a young man from a local farm at Jenin-Haifa road.
The detainee was identified as Ammar Yahya Shalabi.

The Salem court ruled that prisoner Mohamed Allan, aged 33 and from Nablus province, be jailed for 12 months.
Allan’s father said his son was sent to prison on charges of incitement on Facebook and that the occupation authorities imposed on him a fine of up to 2,000 shekels.
Prisoner Allan, a lawyer, was kidnapped by the Israeli occupation forces from his home on June 8, 2017. He immediately started a 30-day hunger strike to protest Israeli intents to sentence him administratively, with neither charge nor trial.
In 2014, Allan had gone on a 65-day hunger strike in Israeli lock-ups to protest his administrative detention, which lasted nearly for one year.

On Sunday evening, the soldiers attacked a Palestinian man, identified as Abdul-Raouf al-Mohtaseb, and his wife Nadia, while attempting to abduct their son, Mohammad, 27, near the Ibrahimi Mosque, in Hebron city.
The family lives in the as-Sahla neighborhood, near the Ibrahimi Mosque; the Israel attack caused Nadia to collapse, before she was rushed to the Hebron governmental hospital.
Also on Sunday evening, the soldiers invaded Ya’bad town, southwest of the northern West Bank city of Jenin, abducted a young man, identified as Shoaa’ Walid Abu Bakr, and confiscated his motorcycle, after storming his home and searching it.
Several army jeeps invaded Surif town, northwest of Hebron, searched many homes and abducted two siblings, identified as Fadi and Moneeb Ibrahim Ghneimat.
The soldiers also invaded homes in the al-‘Arroub refugee camp, north of Hebron, and abducted Nader ‘Oweidat.
Another Palestinian, identified as Saif Abu Zeina, was abducted from his home in Hebron city.
Media sources in Hebron said the soldiers invaded an area near Tareq Bin Ziad School, close to Abu ar-Reesh military roadblock in the city, and fired many rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs and concussion grenades at many Palestinians who protested the invasion.
On Sunday evening, the soldiers attacked a Palestinian man, identified as Abdul-Raouf al-Mohtaseb, and his wife Nadia, while attempting to abduct their son, Mohammad, 27, near the Ibrahimi Mosque, in Hebron city.
The family lives in the as-Sahla neighborhood, near the Ibrahimi Mosque; the Israel attack caused Nadia to collapse, before she was rushed to the Hebron governmental hospital.

Handala Center for Detainees said the soldiers abducted Mohammad Kamel Oleyyan, who served a prison sentence of three years and four months.
It added that Oleyyan was taken prisoner by the soldiers just minutes after his release from Ramon prison, in the Negev Desert, and was moved to the al-Maskobiyya detention and interrogation center, west of Jerusalem.
The detainee, who was imprisoned for membership with the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PSLP) was unable to see his family after his release.
It is worth mentioning that the soldiers invaded, earlier Sunday, Oleyyan’s family home in the al-Isawiya town, in Jerusalem, and violently searched it, causing property damage.
