Palestinian prisoners who are held captive in Israeli jails illegally under the so called administrative detention for no charges or trials have continued their boycotting of Israeli occupation military courts for the fifth day in a row in protest at the arbitrary decisions of detaining them administratively.
In a statement on Tuesday, the administrative detainees said that the boycott is going to last until a further notice. It aims at foiling Israeli attempts to mislead the public opinion by showing that Palestinian prisoners are subjected to a legal jurisdiction, the statement elaborated.
The captives called on Palestinian factions and human rights organizations as well as civil institutions and the media to spread the word of Palestinian administrative detainees and to call for a massive mobilization until halting the illegal administrative detention.
They demanded that Palestinian Authority’s President Mahmoud Abbas support them politically and legally through bringing their cases to international competent courts.
The administrative detainees also called on Palestinian ambassadors across the world to launch media and diplomatic campaigns in order to pressure Israeli occupation authorities to put an end to the illegitimate administrative detention.

The Israeli Occupation Authorities (IOA) re-imposed on Monday the old sentence of two life sentences and 25 years against a Palestinian ex-prisoner who was released during Wafa al-Ahrar swap deal in 2011.
Family sources affirmed that IOA re-imposed the old sentence of the prisoner Safwan al-Aweiwi, who was re-arrested in 2014 for violating the terms of his release, although being acquitted of the charge by Ofer military court.

At the time, the campaign resulted in arresting more than 60 ex-prisoners who were released in the Wafa al-Ahrar prisoner exchange deal in 2011.
Safwan was released in November 2011 after spending nine years of his old sentence.
The mother considered the Israeli decision as a political measure par excellence

An Israeli bill that allows the Israeli government to slash funds to the Palestinian Authority (PA) because of salaries paid to Palestinian prisoners and their families was approved on Sunday, in a move condemned by activists as “an act of piracy.”
Israel’s Ministerial Committee for Legislation approved the bill, which calls for deducting welfare payments paid to the prisoners and their families from the tax revenues that Israel transfers to the PA.
The bill will have to pass three readings in the Knesset plenum before it becomes law.
According to Israeli news outlets, the bill would see Israel cut around NIS 1 billion ($285 million) from the annual tax revenues it allegedly hands over to the PA.
The bill was initiated by opposition Yesh Atid MK Elazar Stern.
The funds that Israel is planning to deduct would be funneled to Israeli settlers and settlement projects across the occupied Palestinian territories.
Reacting to the decision of the Ministerial Committee for Legislation, many activists denounced the move as an act of piracy and flagrant theft of money.
The approval of the bill comes in the context of the campaign of incitement and hostility waged by the occupation government against the prisoners and the families of the martyrs and wounded anti-occupation protesters.

Israel's Shin Bet security agency on Sunday announced that it has recently arrested an Islamic Jihad cell composed of six Palestinians from Bethlehem and claimed that they were plotting to assassinate the Israeli war minister Avigdor Lieberman.
According to a statement released by the agency, the six Palestinians were planning to place a bomb on a West Bank road near Gush Etzion settlement on which Lieberman's convoy was to travel.
The statement noted that the cell had planned to carry out other operations without giving details. No response from the Islamic Jihad Movement has been issued yet to the Shin Bet accusation.
The Shin Bet also claimed foiling a plot by another Islamic Jihad armed cell operating in Bethlehem to launch shooting attacks against Israeli soldiers and settlers.
Lieberman was the target of a similar plot in 2014 when a Hamas cell planned to hit the vehicle in which he was traveling with an RPG.
The Shin Bet said that the Islamic Jihad cell members were aware of past failed attempts to kill Lieberman and therefore believed that if they planted an explosive device on the Israeli minister's travel route they would be more successful.
Based on the Shin Bet allegations, the cell's location had been identified and its plan thwarted at a very early stage of its work.

It took only seven minutes for detection dogs unleashed by the Israeli military at the home of prisoner Mabrouk Jarrar to turn the latter’s body into a blood-spattered entity mauled from head to toe by the dogs’ unsympathetic incisors.
A native of Burkin town, in Jenin, Jarrar thought that by hiding in his bedroom along with his family members after heavily-armed Israeli soldiers broke into the home would spare him from the soldiers' violent assault.
However, sounds of a loud explosion shattered the windows of the house after a bomb was discharged by the occupation forces. Suddenly, Jarrar was brutally caught and attacked by a gigantic police dog.
“Every time the dog sank his daggers-like teeth into my body I just had the feeling that I was going to breath my least,” Jarrar told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC), adding, “The dog started to bite off my left hand and leg."
The scene was not so much dissimilar to an attack by Israeli soldiers on a disarmed child.
“The Israeli soldiers stood behind the wall, having their hearts in their mouths as they feared that slain Ahmed Jarrar, whom they were chasing down, would suddenly show up,” he added.
Jarrar was attacked by Israeli army hounds for seven minutes, causing him injuries, bruises, and neck fractures.
As soon as his wife plucked up her courage to defend him, the dogs were about to turn to her, but she immediately ran out of the house screaming at the soldiers and asking for help.
“My children have gone traumatized due to the attack. The live scene will forever remain stuck in their memories as long as they live,” she said.
“The soldiers kept looking at my husband in cold-blood, saying they will only save him if he reveals Ahmed Jarrar’s location. However, they soon beat him up and arrested him, knowing that their blackmailing would just go in vain.”
Jarrar was later transferred to the Israeli Afoula Hospital for treatment. Shortly after the Israeli army tracked down Ahmed Jarrar and killed him, the occupation authorities released him. He was moved to Nablus-based Rafidia Hospital to continue his treatment.
