Israeli forces today detained 36 Palestinians, including three minors and a woman, in multiple raids across occupied Jerusalem and the West Bank, said the Palestine Prisoner Society (PPS).
It said Israeli police force rounded up 15 Palestinians from the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Issawiyeh.
In Ramallah district, PPS said Israeli military raided the village of Bittin, northeast of Ramallah city, and detained three minors, all aged 15.
In Hebron district, Israeli forces raided detained five Palestinians, including a young woman from Yatta town identified as Wafa Abu Zahra, who was later released on condition she has to appear in court in April.
Three others detained in the Hebron district were identified as a father and his two sons from Deir Samet town, west of Hebron. The fifth is a resident of Hebron city neighborhood of Jabal Abu Rumman.
In Bethlehem, also in the south of the West Bank, Israeli military raided a home of a former prisoner and detained him.
They rounded up another Palestinian after ransacking the house of his family in Hindaza village, east of Bethlehem.
In the Jordan Valley, Israeli troops raided Aqabat Jabr refugee camp, southwest of Jericho, where they broke into and ransacked the house of Jericho and the Jordan Valley governor, Jihad Abu al-Asal, and detained his son, Nael, who is also secretary-general of Fatah movement in Jericho.
PPS said another army raid in al-Jiftlik village, north of Jericho city, has resulted in the detention of two Palestinians.
Two others were detained from Qalqiliya district in the northern West Bank.
Soldiers rounded up two brothers after ransacking the house of their family in al-Faraa refugee camp, south of Tubas.
In Jenin district, soldiers detained three Palestinians from Qabatia and Kafr Rai towns, southwest of Jenin.
In Nablus district, PPS said a predawn military raid in al-Lubban al-Sharqiya village, south of Nablus, resulted in the detention of a Palestinian identified as an undergraduate student in Birzeit University.

The PPS said the soldiers invaded Beitin village, east of the central West Bank city of Ramallah, before abducting three children, identified as Mohannad Yousef Jaber, 13, Abdul-Rahman Mohammad Jaber, 14, and Mohammad Obeida Khatib, 14.
In occupied Jerusalem, the soldiers searched many homes in the al-‘Isawiya town, northeast of the city, and abducted fifteen Palestinians, identified as Ali Mohammad Obeid, Mohammad Adnan Obeid, Wisam Nayef Obeid, Mohannad Nasser Mahmoud, Bashar Nasser Mahmoud, Mansour Nasser, Fayez Mohammad Mheisin, Mohammad Mer’ey Dirbas, Bassel Mohammad Dirbas, Ali Abu Ryala, Jihad Issa Bader, Yousef al-Kiswani, Bassel Odah and Mohammad al-Jayyar.
In Bethlehem, south of occupied Jerusalem, the soldiers invaded Wadi Maali area, in the center of the city, and abducted a former political prisoner, identified as Abdullah Ata Tayeh, 23.
The soldiers also abducted Khalil Khader Shouka, 27, from Jabal Hindaza, east of Bethlehem, and summoned for interrogation Mohammad Issa Ghneim, 23, from the al-Khader town, south of Bethlehem.
In Hebron, in southern West Bank, the soldiers abducted Said Abu Aisha, from Hebron city, and a young woman, identified as Wafa’ Ali Abu Zahra, 19, from her home in Yatta town, south of the city.
In addition, the soldiers abducted a young man, identified as Saif Bassam Abu ‘Aisha, from his home in Abu Romman Mountain, in Hebron city.
In Tubas, in northeastern West Bank, the soldiers abducted two siblings, identified as Fares and Odai Hasan Tayeh, from their home in the al-Far’a refugee camp.
Furthermore, the soldiers invaded the home of Jericho Governor, Na’el Abu al-‘Asal, searched and ransacked the property in Aqabat Jaber refugee camp, and abducted his son Na’el.
In Nablus, in northern West Bank, the soldiers abducted Qais al-Khatib, 21, from the al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya village, south of the city. The young man is a student at Birzeit University, near Ramallah.

Palestinian resistance fighters exchanged fire, on Monday at dawn, with Israeli soldiers who invaded Qabatia town, south of the northern West Bank city of Jenin.
Media sources said the fighters fired bursts of live ammunition at Israeli military vehicles invading the town, and that the soldiers fired a barrage of bullets at the sources of the fire.
They added that fighters were firing at the invading army vehicles from several directions and that the exchange of fire lasted for an extended time. video video
It is worth mentioning that the soldiers also invaded and ransacked homes, before abducting a young man, identified as Mustafa As’ad Abu ar-Rob, before withdrawing from the town.

The Al-Quds Brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad, has reported that two of its fighters were killed, late on Sunday at night, after Israeli war jets fired missiles into an area in the Syrian capital, Damascus. video
The Brigades stated that its slain fighters have been identified as Salim Ahmad Salim, 24, and Ziad Ahmad Mansour, 23.
It added that the Israeli offensive on the Arab Syrian capital “is just another example of Tel Aviv’s failure in facing the Palestinian fighters in occupied Palestine.
“This new aggression will not deter us, as it is only another incentive for us to continue our fight for liberation and independence,” the Brigades added, “Our struggle against the Israeli occupation will continue until we achieve our legitimate goals,” and vowed a fierce retaliation.
In related news, Israeli fighter jets fired, on Sunday evening, many missiles into sites run by the Al-Quds Brigades in several areas in the besieged Gaza Strip, after the fighters fired homemade shells into nearby settlements in retaliation to the death of Mohammad Ali Hasan an-Na’em, 27, from Khan Younis, who was killed by army fire before the soldiers crushed his body with the blade of their bulldozer, then grabbed the corpse with the blade and swinging the body back and forth in the air.
Medical sources have confirmed that at least four Palestinians were injured.
On Saturday evening, the soldiers abducted a Palestinian merchant, identified as Amer Baraka, at the Erez Terminal, in northern Gaza. He is the third merchant to be taken prisoner at the terminal since the beginning of this year.

Cancer-stricken detainee Muwafaq Arouk, 77, has been readmitted to an Israeli hospital after his health condition seriously worsened, the Palestinian Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs Commission said on Sunday.
The commission said that Arouk is suffering from multiple health complications, including severe pains, fever, weight loss and inability to eat or drink.
Arouk is now under anesthesia, taking only fluids and analgesics, according to the commission.
Arouk was diagnosed with cancerous tumors in the liver and intestine in July 2019, but the Israel Prison Service delayed his transfer to the hospital for chemotherapy until November 2019 after his health condition had gravely deteriorated.
Earlier in February, prisoner Arouk underwent major surgery for the removal of an intestinal tumor but he was returned to Ramla jail only two weeks later with no regard for his serious health condition.
Arouk, a 77-year-old from the 1948 occupied territories, has been in Israeli jail since 2003, serving 30 years. He is one of 10 detainees in Israeli jails suffering from different types of cancer.

Update: The soldiers abducted a young man, who remained unidentified at the time of this report, after forcing him out of a car near Maale Adumim illegal colony, east of the a;-Ezariyya town, near Jerusalem.
The PPS office in Bethlehem, south of Jerusalem, said the soldiers invaded and searched homes in Teqoua’ town, southeast of the city, and abducted Ahmad Jamal al-‘Amour, 22, and Qussai Mahmoud al-‘Amour, 20.
In Jerusalem, the soldiers abducted Wassim Nayef Obeid, Yazan Amjad Obeid, Younis Sufian Obeid and Mahmoud Sa’adi Rajabi.
In Nablus, in northern West Bank, the soldiers also invaded and searched homes, and abducted Hammam Bani Fadel.

According to eyewitnesses, soldiers stationed near the main entrance to Sarra town in western Nablus rounded up two unidentified young men and transferred them to the nearby Qadumim army base.
The IOF also embarked on intercepting vehicles and citizens at the checkpoint, causing a heavy build-up of traffic on the roads leading to Nablus and Qalqilya and nearby villages.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health confirmed today death of the alleged Jerusalem attacker, who was shot and killed earlier in the day by the Israeli police in Bab al-Asbat area in the Old City of Jerusalem after allegedly carrying out a stabbing attack, as claimed by Israeli reports, and said in a statement that it was officially informed by the Israeli side of his death.
Israeli security forces raided the home of the alleged attacker, who was identified as 33-year-old Maher Ibrahim Zaatra, a father of three children from Jabal al-Mukabber neighborhood of occupied East Jerusalem, and detained his father and two of his brothers, as reported on the neighborhood’s social media page.
A passerby woman resident of East Jerusalem was also accidently shot in the leg during the incident and taken to hospital. She was reported in moderate condition.
