Israeli general prosecution on Thursday tabled an indictment against the Arab-Israeli MK Haneen Zoabi accusing her of insulting an Israeli civil servant during a session at the Israeli magistrate’s court in Nazareth.
MK Zoabi said “All what I said at court was that we have the right to demonstrate against Israeli policemen who violate the law. They fabricate evidence against us. We only voice our concerns against practices of Israeli police and the policies of a state.”
The Israeli prosecution had previously indicted MK Zoabi with violence on the background of her support of families of Palestinian prisoners and her participation in their protest sit-ins.

Israeli Occupation Authority (IOA) claimed the arrest of a resistance cell of Hamas movement in the West Bank over responsibility of planning to capture Israeli soldiers and settlers.
Israeli Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper revealed that Israeli general intelligence, the Shin Bet, on Thursday permitted the publishing of details on arresting six members of Hamas from al-Khalil and Occupied Jerusalem last December.
According to the Israeli newspaper, the six Palestinians planned to capture Israelis for exchanging them with Palestinian prisoners held at Israeli jails. They prepared caves and private places to detain Israeli captives, the newspaper alleged.

Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) at noon Thursday arrested a Palestinian young man for alleged knife possession near Beit Hadasa settlement in al-Khalil in the southern West Bank.
The PIC reporter quoted eyewitnesses as saying that Israeli forces arrested the young man after stopping and searching him at a military checkpoint in central al-Khalil city.
The Israeli 0404 website revealed that the Palestinian man was taken for questioning by Israeli intelligence forces.

The Israeli Prison Service (IPS) moved Wednesday evening the Palestinian prisoner Sadem Awad, 24, to Soroka Hospital in Beersheva after he became unable to move.
Awad has been suffering from acute pains in his left leg as a result of being tortured in previous arrests. He became unable to move or walk after he lost sensation in his left leg.
Awad was arrested in November 2013.

In addition, the soldiers invaded Silwad town, east of Ramallah, searched homes and kidnapped Ali Nassar, 55, Saleh Anwar Salim, Mohammad Adnan Hamed, Abdul-Karim Taiseer Hamed, in addition to Afeef and his brother Khaled Ayyad.
Eyewitnesses said the soldiers searched more than 25 homes in the town, also used military dogs in the search, causing excessive damage, and confiscated several Palestinian flags, in addition to confiscating toy guns.
Owners of some of the invaded homes have been identified as Adnan Abdul-Jaleel Hamed, Ziad Abdul-Jaleel Hamed, Hasan Mer’ey, Mohammad Mer’ey, Ayman Mer’ey, Da’as Hamed, Abdul-Nasser Hamada, Nader Hamada, Abdul-Rauf ‘Atsha, Yousef Najjar, Ahmad Sarraj, Yasser Abu Zeina, Ahmad Afeef, Mohammad Afeef, Ziad Hamed, Ayyoub Hamed, Ali Nimir Hamed, Mohammad Nimir Hamed, Ali Nassar and Samed Hammad.

A Palestinian teenager from Occupied Jerusalem suffered a bullet injury in his head after Israeli police troops on Wednesday evening stormed al-Issawiya neighborhood, east of the city, and embarked on attacking its residents.
According to member of the Issawiya follow-up committee Mohamed Abul Hems, a large number of police forces stormed the neighborhood suddenly and started to fire stun grenades and rubber bullets indiscriminately, which provoked clashes with local young men.
Abul Hems added that a teenager called Ahmed Tawfiq suffered a serious head injury from a rubber bullet fired by a policeman during the skirmishes and was admitted to hospital.
The police forces also detained Abul Hems as he was covering the events in the neighborhood and confiscated his cellphone.
Similar clashes also broke out in the evening with invading soldiers in Anin town, west of Jenin city.
Local sources told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that the confrontations started after Israeli soldiers combed an area near the segregation wall in Anin and then stormed the outskirts of the town.
The sources added that several young men and citizens from the town suffered from inhaling tear gas when the soldiers fired volleys of tear gas grenades at them and nearby houses.
The Israeli occupation forces also set up different roadblocks in the West Bank, including on the Fari'ah-Tubas road and the Jenin-Nablus road.

The Wadi Hilweh Information Center in Silwan (Silwanic) has reported Wednesday that a Palestinian child suffered a serious head injury, after Israeli soldiers shot him in the head, in the al-‘Eesawiyya town, in occupied Jerusalem.
Mohammad Abu al-Hummus, member of the Follow-up Committee in al-'Eesawiyya, said the child, Ahmad Tawfiq Abu al-Hummus, 12 years of age, was shot with a rubber-coated steel bullet in the head, and was moved to the Hadassah Israeli medical center in Jerusalem.
Due to the serious nature of his head injury, the doctors instantly moved the wounded child to surgery.
Abu al-Hummus said dozens of soldiers invaded the town and fired rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs and live rounds; many Palestinians suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation.
He also stated that all stores in the town had to shut down after the army invaded it, and the resulting clashes.
It is worth mentioning that the soldiers also detained Mohammad Abu al-Hummus, temporarily confiscated his mobile phone, and deleted all videos and pictures he took documenting the invasion.

The 15-year old Abdullah Siam turned himself in on Wednesday to Al-Maskobyeh police center to serve his 100-day prison sentence after refusing to do free public service in the occupation’s organizations.
Siam explained to Wadi Hilweh Information Center that he chose actual imprisonment for 100 days over “public service” for 5 months considering free public service is Israeli organizations which aims at breaking the will of young men and children.
Siam is a resident of the neighborhood of Wadi Hilweh in Silwan. He was arrested on 13/5/2015 while coming home from school on charges of throwing stones towards Israeli forces. He remained under arrest for two months and was released with a financial bail and open house-arrest with allowing him to go to school; Siam is in 10th grade.

Tension ran high at the plazas of the Aqsa Mosque Wednesday morning after a group of Jewish settlers performed Talmudic rituals at the holy site under protection of Israeli forces.
Eyewitnesses revealed that Muslim worshipers confronted settlers by chanting “Allah the Greatest”. Meanwhile, an Israeli officer arrested the Palestinian young man Wael al-Rajabi. He was taken to the police station of al-Silsila gate in the Old City of Occupied Jerusalem.
A female settler broke into the Aqsa Mosque three times in the morning, while 24 other settlers stormed the plazas of the Muslims’ holy site from the Magharebah gate under tightened security measures, eyewitnesses reported.
Israeli policemen stationed at the various gates of the Aqsa Mosque continued confiscating the IDs of Palestinian youths and women prior to their entry to the Mosque. The policemen also continued barring Jerusalemite women who have been banned of accessing the Mosque for four months.

A Palestinian lawyer, who visited him on Tuesday in the hospital, affirmed that journalist Qeiq was insistent on continuing his hunger strike until his jailers released him or let him die.
The lawyer said that the prisoner was in bad physical shape as he was shackled to a bed in the hospital.
As a result of his prolonged hunger strike, the journalist suffers from serious health complications, including blood in urine, severe headache and dizziness, and persistent stomachaches, according to the lawyer.

Israeli media claimed that two rifles and military equipment were allegedly found in Jenin.
Two more Palestinians were taken in Nablus, while another was arrested in Beit Fujar town, south of Bethlehem. Four other young men were arrested in al-Khalil as IOF broke into a number of towns south of the city.
Eyewitnesses told the PIC reporter that seven Israeli military patrols stormed Tamun town amid heavy firing of tear gas bombs and rubber bullets which led to the outbreak of violent clashes.
At least a young man was injured after a tear gas bomb hit him in his hand during the clashes, the sources added.
Another young man was arrested from his house in the town.
Along the same line, a number of local homes were stormed and violently searched in Nablus. An ex-detainee who spent three years in Israeli jails was arrested during the raid.
Three other youths were detained as IOF broke into a number of towns and refugee camps in Nablus province.

In addition, the soldiers kidnapped Nour Mahmoud Sa'adi, 22, from his brother’s home in a neighborhood in Jenin, and searched his father's home.
Also, a Palestinian teenager, identified as Ahmad Salti Thawabta, 16, was kidnapped from his home, in Beit Fajjar town, south of the West Bank city of Bethlehem, after the soldiers invaded and searched the property.
Another Palestinian, identified as Ibrahim Sawafta, 18, was kidnapped from his home in Tubas town.
The soldiers clashed with many local youths, and fired many gas bombs; several Palestinians suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation; one child suffered minor burns in his arm, and was moved hospitalized.

The soldiers also invaded Halhoul town, north of Hebron, and kidnapped Bassel Azmi al-Baba, 19, while resident Khalil Riyadh Nammoura, 21, was kidnapped from his home in Doura town, south of Hebron.
In addition, several army vehicles invaded Beit Ummar town, north of Hebron, and summoned Nasser Ayesh Ekhlayyel, 45, his sons Mohammad, 22, and Ayesh, 20, for interrogation in the Etzion military base.
The army also invaded and searched homes in Safa area, north of Beit Ummar, and summoned several Palestinians for interrogation in Etzion.
In related news, the army continued the closure of the main roads leading to Doura town and the al-Fawwar refugee camp, as the soldiers recently installed sand hills and iron barriers, to block traffic.
All main roads leading linking the villages of Abda, al-Karma and Deir Razeh, with Hebron, also remain blockaded.
In addition, the soldiers installed many roadblocks, especially at the main entrance of Nabi Younis town, north of Hebron, and the ath-Thaheriyya town, south of the city.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Tuesday kidnapped a Palestinian businessman at Beit Hanoun (Erez) crossing, north of the Gaza Strip.
Local sources said that Israeli officers at the crossing transferred Maher Mushtahi, a factory owner, to prison after interrogating him for about five hours.
They added that Mushtahi went to the crossing in order to officially travel to the West Bank.
The Palestinian Center for Prisoner Studies recently released a report stating that the IOF kidnapped last year 44 Palestinian passengers at Beit Hanoun crossing, including 32 businessmen and four patients.
