The family of the isolated Palestinian detainee Wael Nabeel N’eirat sounded distress signals over the critical downturn rocking their relative’s health status in an Israeli jail.
The family of 43-year-old N’eirat said the detainee’s health has taken a turn for the worse and that he has been isolated in the Beersheba lock-up for 12 days running.
According to the family, the Israeli jailers stripped the detainee of all his clothing and prevented him from taking in diabetes medication.
Prisoner N’eirat has served 13 years in Israeli jails, out of an ongoing 25-year prison-term.
A native of Jenin’s southern town of Methlon, in the northern West Bank, prisoner N’eirat has reportedly been locked up for seven years in solitary confinement, out of the 13 years he has spent in Israeli jails so far.

Israeli forces detained at least 34 Palestinians, including a 12 and 17-year-old, during predawn military raids throughout the occupied West Bank on Wednesday, according to Palestinian and Israeli sources.
Israeli forces carry out detention raids across the occupied Palestinian territory on a near-nightly basis, with the UN recording an average of 95 weekly raids in the West Bank in 2016.
According to prisoners’ rights group Addameer, 7,000 Palestinians were detained in Israeli prisons as of October 2016.
Jerusalem and Ramallah districts
In the central occupied West Bank, Israeli forces detained five Palestinians from the Jerusalem district, identified by the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS) as Yousif Mahdi Dar Sheikh, 12, from the village of Biddu; Malik Muhammad Hmeid, Ahmad Bakr Rabiaa, and Mubin Muhammad Ibrahim Jumhur from Beit Annan; and Mustafa Ahmad Hamed, 17, from Anata in eastern Jerusalem.
An Israeli army spokesperson confirmed to Ma’an two detentions in Beit Annan and another in Biddu.
In the Ramallah and al-Bireh districts, Israeli forces detained six Palestinians, according to PPS.
PPS identified Nidal al-Rimawi and Hakim Mahmoud al-Rimawi from the town of Beit Rima, and Bassem Said al-Barghouthi from the village of Deir Ghassana. Marwan Mahmoud Abu Salim, 20, Tariq Hashem Radi, 18, and Samer Riyad Radi, 18, were also detained from the village of al-Lubban al-Gharbi
An Israeli army spokesperson did not mention any detentions in Ramallah and al-Bireh.
Bethlehem and Hebron districts
PPS said in their statement that one Palestinian was detained from the village of al-Khader in the Bethlehem district, identified as Ibrahim Suleiman Sbeih, while Nidal Andunieh, and his son Amir were detained from the city of Bethlehem.
An Israeli army spokesperson told Ma’an that one Palestinian was detained in Bethlehem.
Meanwhile, in the southern Hebron district, Israeli forces detained at least two Palestinian men and confiscated equipment from a blacksmith workshop during overnight military raids.
Locals told Ma’an that Israeli forces raided the village of Dura and detained Izz al-Din Jamil al-Titi from his home.
Israeli forces also raided the village of Sair, detaining Suhaib Hussein Jaradat.
The wife of Palestinian journalist and hunger striker Muhammad al-Qiq was delivered an interrogation summon with Israeli intelligence during the raid, according to locals. Al-Qiq was redetained by Israeli forces earlier this month after participating in a protest in Bethlehem held to demand the release of bodies of slain Palestinians held in Israeli custody.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces raided the village of Surif and sealed a Palestinian-owned blacksmith workshop after confiscating equipment.
An Israeli army spokesperson told Ma’an that two additional detentions were carried out in the al-Fawwar refugee camp in Hebron. Palestinian sources did not provide details on the detentions.
Northern West Bank
In the Nur Shams refugee camp in the northern district of Tulkarem, Israeli forces detained six Palestinians, identified by PPS as Ali Khayri Abu Salah, Raji Jamal Ghreifi, Ramez Abd al-Hakim Elayyan, Muhammad Adib Ghreifi, Muhammad Ahmad al-Azza, and Ali Amin Abu al-Rub.

Israeli Soldiers Abduct Nineteen Palestinians The West Bank
Israeli soldiers invaded, on Wednesday at dawn, several villages and towns, in the West Bank districts of Ramallah, Jenin, Bethlehem, Hebron, Tulkarem and Jerusalem, before conducting extensive searches of homes, and abducted at least nineteen Palestinians.
Several army vehicles invaded Deir Ghassana village, northwest of Ramallah, searched homes and abducted Bassem Sa’id Barghouthi, 51.
The soldiers also invaded homes in Beit Rima town, northwest of Ramallah, and abducted Hakim Mahmoud Barghouthi, 18, and Nidal Rimawi.
Three Palestinians, identified as Marwan Mahmoud Abu Salem, 20, Tareq Hisham Radi, 18, and Samer Riyad Radi, 15, were also abducted from his homes, after the soldiers invaded them, in the al-Lubban al-Gharbi village, northwest of Ramallah.
The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) said the soldiers searched at least 14 homes during the invasion, and interrogated many Palestinians.
Furthermore, the soldiers invaded ‘Aneen village, west of Jenin, also searched homes and abducted Saddam Mohammad Yassin, 27.
The army searched many homes, and lands, in ‘Aneen, and interrogated several Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards.
The soldiers also invaded Ya’bad town, west of Jenin, searched homes and abducted a former political prisoner, identified as Ismael Kilani.
In addition, the soldiers invaded the al-Khader town, south of Bethlehem, searched homes and abducted Ibrahim Suleiman Sbeih, 49.
In Bethlehem city, the soldiers invaded the home of Nidal Jeries Andoni, and searched the property before summoning him and his son, Amir, for interrogation in Etzion military base, south of Bethlehem.
Furthermore, the soldiers invaded several towns and communities, in the southern West Bank district of Hebron, and abducted two Palestinians during extensive military searches of homes.
The Hebron office of the PPS said the soldiers violently searched homes in Sa’ir town, north of the city, and abducted a young man, identified as Soheib Hussein Jaradat, 21.
Another Palestinian, identified as Ezzeddin Nayef Teety, was abducted after the soldiers invaded and searched his home in Doura town, south of Hebron.
Also in Doura, the soldiers summoned Faiha’ Shallash, the wife of imprisoned Journalist Mohammad al-Qeeq, for interrogation, after violently searching her home in Doura.
In addition, the soldiers invaded the towns of Yatta and ath-Thaheriyya, south of Hebron, searched homes and summoned Ibrahim Makhamra from interrogation.
In Tulkarem, in the northern part of the West Bank, several Israeli military vehicles invaded Nour Shams refugee camp, east of the city, searched many homes and abducted six Palestinians.

Israeli Soldiers Abduct Two Palestinians In Jerusalem
Israeli soldiers abducted, on Wednesday at dawn, two Palestinians from Beit Iksa village and Biddo towns, in occupied Jerusalem, and assaulted one.
The soldiers stationed at the military roadblock that isolates the Beit Iksa village, surrounded by the Annexation Wall, stopped and searched many cars, and investigated the ID cards of the passengers before abducting one.
Local sources in Beit Iksa said the abducted Palestinian has been identified as Soheib Hamayel, and that the soldiers assaulted Jamal Gheith, causing various cuts and bruises.
Furthermore, the soldiers invaded Biddo town, northwest of Jerusalem, searched homes and abducted Malek Mohammad Hmeid.
Qeiq’s wife strip-searched, 17 Palestinians kidnapped by IOF
The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Wednesday kidnapped 17 Palestinians from the West Bank and subjected a prisoner’s wife to a strip search.
“The occupation army stormed my family home in Dura town, in al-Khalil, and wreaked havoc on the building, before they strip-searched me and summoned me for questioning,” Fayhaa Shelesh, the wife of the imprisoned Palestinian journalist Mohamed al-Qeiq, said on Facebook.
A Palestinian youth—Ezzedine Al-Titi—was, meanwhile, kidnapped by the IOF from his home in the al-Fawar refugee camp, in southern al-Khalil province.
The occupation soldiers further stormed a smithy owned by Ibrahim Hmeidat in al-Khalil’s western town of Surif and seized its equipment before they summoned the blacksmith for interrogation.
Meanwhile, an assault by the IOF on Nour Shams camp, in Tulkarem province, culminated in the abduction of six Palestinian civilians.
The IOF reportedly cracked down on Palestinian citizens and ravaged civilian homes. Several Palestinians have also been subjected to intensive searches and interrogations.
Speaking to the PIC, local sources said the IOF stormed Tulkarem’s camp of Nour Shams in over 20 army jeeps before they cordoned off the shelter from all sides and rummaged into civilian homes.
The six arrestees were identified as Mohamed Ghreifi, Raji Ghreifi, Mohamed Azza, Ali Abu Salah, Ramez Alyan, and Ali Ameen Abu Al-Rub.
Palestinian citizen Bassem Sa’id al-Barghouti was, meanwhile, kidnapped by the Israeli soldiers from Ramallah while Nidhal Andouniyeh and Ameer Andouniyeh were arrested in Bethlehem.
Another Palestinian—Malek Mohamed Hameed—was arrested by the Israeli forces in Occupied Jerusalem.

Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) Tuesday morning arrested a young man and detained a girl near Eli settlement while they were going from Nablus to Ramallah cities.
Eyewitnesses told the PIC reporter that the IOF soldiers stopped their car and checked their IDs before arresting the young man and taking him to an unknown destination. The girl has been still detained to the moment, they said.
Both of the arrested Palestinians were not identified yet and the reasons of arrest have not been released as well.

Hebrew media sources revealed that Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) rounded up two Palestinians after an alleged anti-occupation shooting attack near Ofra settlement northeast Ramallah.
The Israeli 0404 website reported that an IOF unit came under a shooting attack on Tuesday morning near Ofra settlement with no injuries.
The IOF soldiers arrested two Palestinians from Silwad town to the east of Ramallah on suspicion of carrying out the attack, it added.
The same website pointed out that Israeli forces confiscated a weapon that was found with the arrested men.

Lawyer Ashraf Abu Sneineh said he received a number of administrative sentences slapped by the IOA on a number of Palestinian detainees, including the Hamas representative at the Palestinian Legislative Council (PLC) Ahmad Mubarak.
MP Mubarak was sentenced to a six-month administrative prison-term.
Prominent Palestinian writer Waleed al-Houdli was, meanwhile, sentenced to four months in administrative detention.
Author al-Houdli had spent a total of 15 years in Israeli jails in several former arrests.
The verdicts also targeted newly-arrested ex-prisoners from Ramallah and Bethlehem provinces.
Ex-prisoners Falah Nada, Shuja’ Darweesh, and Salem Jahaleen received a six-month term, without trial, while three other detainees—Mohamed Dahla, Mohamed Karaan, and Mohamed al-Baden—were subjected to similar four-month sentences, without charges.

Israeli courts in Occupied Jerusalem on Monday issued punitive sentences, including prison, house arrest and exile verdicts, against Palestinian young men and activists from the holy city.
Local sources said that the Israeli magistrate court ordered a young man called Munder Qunbar to stay under house arrest for 10 days, banned his travel for 180 days and fined him 1,000 shekels.
They added that the court also ordered him to sign an obligation that a third party would pay 10,000 shekels to bail him out.
Munder Qunbar, the brother of Fadi who carried out a vehicle-ramming attack in Jerusalem on January 8, 2017, was arrested along with other family members on the same day of the incident.
The same court also banished member of the Issawiya follow-up committee Mohamed Abul-Hems from his home in Issawiya for a whole week and ordered him to pay a 15,000-shekels penalty in addition to 5,000 shekels as third-party bail.
For its part, the district court in Jerusalem issued on the same day different prison sentences against three local young men.
According to local sources, six years and ten months was given for Tareq Derwish, five years and nine months for Yousef Aliyan, who was also fined 5,000 shekels, and two years and a 2,500-shekel penalty for Luay Abul-Hems.
Local sources said that the Israeli magistrate court ordered a young man called Munder Qunbar to stay under house arrest for 10 days, banned his travel for 180 days and fined him 1,000 shekels.
They added that the court also ordered him to sign an obligation that a third party would pay 10,000 shekels to bail him out.
Munder Qunbar, the brother of Fadi who carried out a vehicle-ramming attack in Jerusalem on January 8, 2017, was arrested along with other family members on the same day of the incident.
The same court also banished member of the Issawiya follow-up committee Mohamed Abul-Hems from his home in Issawiya for a whole week and ordered him to pay a 15,000-shekels penalty in addition to 5,000 shekels as third-party bail.
For its part, the district court in Jerusalem issued on the same day different prison sentences against three local young men.
