Israeli soldiers assaulted, on Thursday evening, several Palestinian Muslim worshipers in Bab ar-Rahma Mosque, in the Al-Aqsa Mosque Compound, in occupied East Jerusalem, and abducted two.
Eyewitnesses said dozens of soldiers, and police officers, invaded the holy site while trying to force the worshipers out, leading to protests. video video
They added that the soldiers maced many worshipers with pepper-spray, and assaulted others with clubs and batons.
The soldiers also abducted two young men, identified as Mohammad Shawish and Abdulla al-Bizra, before moving them to an interrogation facility.
It is worth mentioning that Bab ar-Rahma Mosque was reopened on February 16th 2019, after dozens of Palestinians protested its closure under Israeli orders for sixteen consecutive years, and managed to reopen it despite continued invasions and attempts to prevent the Muslim worshipers from entering it.
Bab ar-Rahma, as well as the rest of the holy Muslim compound, is subject to constant Israeli violations and invasions.

The Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs Commission stated, on Friday, that Palestinian teenager, Hussein Younes, who Israeli soldiers shot, wounded and detained, on Thursday, is in a stable health condition, according to the Palestinian News and Info Agency (WAFA).
The Israeli occupation authorities claimed that the youth allegedly attempted to stab soldiers, on Thursday evening, near the illegal settlement of Gush Etzion, south of Jerusalem, before they shot him and detained him.
In a statement, the Commission said that Younes was shot with live ammunition by the Israeli army, below the knee, and sustained fractures in his leg.
Authorities stated that a court session will be held for Younes without his presence.

Activist and member of the Follow-up Committee in al-‘Isawiya, Muhammad Abu Al-Homs, explained that the occupation forces stormed al-‘Isawiya, and summoned the young men, who had been sentenced to house arrest, at the entrance to al-‘Isawiya, and arrested them, on the pretext of breaking the order of house arrest.
Abu Al-Homs added that the young men who were arrested were: Anwar Obeid, Fayez Muhammad Mheisen, Nadim Safadi, Adam Kayed Mahmoud, Nidal Froukh and Saleh Abu Assab.
Thursday night, the youths announced their rejection of the nightly house arrest decisions imposed on them, under the British emergency regulations 1945, on the pretext that they participated in “confrontations.”
The young men asserted their right to move freely without restrictions or unjust decisions and laws, by staging a sit-in in the late hours of Thursday, in al-‘Isawiya, in defiance of the occupation orders.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Thursday evening opened fire at a Palestinian young man on a road near the illegal settlement bloc of Gush Etzion, south of Bethlehem.
The Palestinian civil liaison office told the health ministry that a citizen suffered a bullet injury in one of his feet after soldiers opened fire at him near the Etzion junction in southern Bethlehem.
The Hebrew media claimed that the young man tried to carry out a stabbing attack near Gush Etzion, but soldiers managed to neutralize him.

According to local eyewitnesses, Israeli troops encircled the house of al-Barghouthi family in Kobar before storming it.
The soldiers also wreaked havoc on furniture as they were searching the house and herded members of the family together into one room.
The Shin Bet, Israel’s internal intelligence service, had released the mother of the two prisoners, Widad al-Barghouthi, in last September after detaining her for 16 days.

According to local sources, the IOF raided the house of Mohamed Sarai’ah at the junction of Salem town in Nablus and a carpenter workshop downstairs belonging to the same person.
The IOF confiscated equipment from the carpenter workshop before leaving the area, without making arrests.
In Ramallah, the IOF stormed Deir Ghassaneh town and kidnaped a young man identified as Ahmed Baseem from his home.
The IOF also stormed Anabta town in Tulkarem and al-Samua town in al-Khalil and kidnaped two citizens from their homes, including two brothers.
Several homes in other areas of the West Bank were also raided, with no reported arrests.

The warrants were issued as a final decision by the Israeli security authorities in the holy city after the young men had been handed a few days ago military injunctions notifying them of the Israel army’s intention to place them under nighttime curfew soon.
The injunctions were issued by the Israeli army’s home front command in the West Bank, which has no security jurisdiction over Jerusalem.
The police warrants warned the young men that they would be arrested and jailed if they disobeyed the house arrest orders.
The six Issawiya young men are Anwar Sami, Mohamed Aliyan, Fayez Mohamed, Mohamed Mousa, Adam Kayed, and Mahmoud Ramdan and will be confined to their homes during night hours for different periods ranging from two to four months.

According to local sources, three of those detainees are Birzeit University students in northern Ramallah. They were identified as Ibrahim Turkman, Omar Abu Salamah and Mus’ab Hanayshah.
Two other young men were reportedly kidnaped from their homes during IOF campaigns in Beit Rima and Deir Ghassaneh town, northwest of Ramallah.

According to informed sources, the military court of Ofer approved a military request for detaining prisoner Hasan Karaja administratively, with no trial or indictment, after he completed serving his 16-month prison term on December 31, 2019.
Karaja, a father of two kids, is a former Arab youth ambassador to the Arab League and had the chance to represent Palestine in several international meetings and events.
H is a human rights activist and a senior member of the Palestinian Grassroots Anti-Apartheid Wall Campaign in the occupied West Bank.
He had already spent over five years in Israeli jails.
