Sa’di al-Gharabli, 75
Palestinian prisoner Sa’di al-Gharabli, 75, died on Monday afternoon at Israel’s Eshel Prison due to deliberate medical neglect.
Al-Gharabli, a resident of Shijaiya neighborhood in Gaza who was serving a life sentence, spent 26 years in Israeli jails.
Al-Gharabli was arrested in 1994 and spent about 15 years of his detention in solitary confinement.
According to al-Gharabli’s family, who met him for the last time in 2001 before the Israel Prison Service decided to deprive him of family visits, al-Gharabli was deliberately denied treatment for prostate cancer and other chronic diseases.
Although his health condition gravely deteriorated in recent weeks, the Israel Prison Service refused to move him to the Ramle Prison Clinic and left him to suffer until he took his last breath.
Al-Gharabli’s death brought the number of Palestinians who have died while in Israeli custody since 1967 to 223. This is added to hundreds of prisoners who died after their release from Israeli jails due to illnesses and injuries they sustained during their detention.

The prisoner has also been deprived of seeing his family for a long time.
Jaghoub was arrested in 2001 and since then he has been serving a life sentence.

Israeli forces Monday overnight detained 13 Palestinians, mostly from the West Bank district of Ramallah and al-Bireh, said the Palestine Prisoner’s Society (PPS).
PPS confirmed in a press release that Israeli forces conducted multiple raids across Ramallah and al-Bireh district, resulting in the detention of 10 Palestinians.
Two of the 10 detainees were identified as a 50-year-old father and his son from Beit Rima town, and another as a resident of Deir Ghassaneh town, both towns located to the northwest of Ramallah.
Two of the seven remaining were identified as residents of Ein Yabrud town, northeast of Ramallah, another as a resident of Kobar village, north of Ramallah, another as a resident of Deir Qaddis village, west of Ramallah, another as a resident of Beitin town, northeast of Ramallah, and two others as residents of Kharbatha Bani Hareth town, west of Ramallah.
In Hebron district, Israeli soldiers rounded up a Palestinian after ransacking his house in the Hebron city neighborhood of Jabal Johar.
In Jenin district, a former prisoner was re-arrested as he attempted to pass a military checkpoint on his way back from Nablus to his hometown of Jaba, south of Jenin.
In Jerusalem district, soldiers barged their way into Kafr Aqab village, where they rounded up another.
Israeli forces frequently raid Palestinian houses almost on a daily basis across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for “wanted” Palestinians, triggering clashes with residents.
These raids, which take place also in areas under the full control of the Palestinian Authority, are conducted with no need for a search warrant, whenever and wherever the military chooses in keeping with its sweeping arbitrary powers.
According to Palestinian figures, roughly 5,700 Palestinians -- including numerous women and children -- are currently languishing in Israeli detention facilities.
Under Israeli military law army commanders have full executive, legislative and judicial authority over 3 million Palestinians living in the West Bank.
Palestinians have no say in how this authority is exercised.
Israeli Troops Abduct Five Palestinians from the West Bank
Israeli Troops abducted early on Monday and late on Sunday night four Palestinian residents from different West Bank areas.
Palestinian media sources reported that Israeli troop invaded the Bet Rema village, west of the central West Bank city of Ramallah and that Israeli soldiers broke into the home of Saher Albarghouthi, 55, before they abducted Saher and his son, Saddam, 30. video
The sources added that Saddam, the son of Saher, is a former Palestinian prisoner, who was imprisoned by Israel, a while ago.
In the meantime, local residents of the Deir Ghassana village, north of the central West Bank city of Ramallah, took to the streets in protest of an Israeli army invasion, in which Israeli soldiers broke into the home of Mo’tasem Mis-Hel, 25.
They added that Israeli soldiers fired volley of tear gas canisters on protesters, as other soldiers vandalized the home of Mis-Hel, abducted the young man and took him to an unknown destination.
No casualties were reported, as the Israeli troops withdrew from the village, right after the abduction.
Meanwhile, local sources and witnesses in the West Bank city of Jenin, confirmed that Israeli troops abducted last night, former Palestinian prisoner of the Jaba’ village, south of Jenin, while the latter was passing by a military Israeli roadblock, south of the West Bank city of Nablus.
The sources identified the prisoner as Belal Fashafha, 25-years-old, WAFA News Agency reported.
In the northern West Bank city of Jericho, Israeli troops were reportedly invaded the Jeftlek village, north of the city.
Local sources and witnesses said that the invading Israeli army force broke into the home of Mousa Jahaleen and sized his farming tractor, under the pretext of farming in an area that is subject to an Israeli security control.
The Jeftlek village is located in north West Bank area of Alaghwar, on the Jordan Valley, which Israel had earlier announced plans to annex some large parts of which.
Last month, both locals and internationals protested in large numbers in Jericho city, against those plans, as Israel was supposed to embark on annexation of the area, by July1.
The annexation was reportedly postponed, yet Israeli officials signaled intention to ago ahead with the move, which sparked widespread criticism.

On Monday, Israeli authorities were reportedly endorsed a demolition order for the home of Palestinian prisoner, Nathmi Abubaker, 48, from the Y’abad village, south-west of Jenin City, in the West Bank.
The official Palestinian News Agency, WAFA, reported that Israeli occupation authorities jailed Abubaker after they had accused him of causing the death of an Israeli soldier, by throwing a stone on the soldier’s head, during an Israeli invasion of the village on May12.
The accusation by Israeli authorities was totally denied by Abubaker, during a military trial, held later on, WAFA said.
In June 11, Israeli troops were reportedly invaded Ya’bad village again and an engineering staff, within the invading force, made some measurements for and around the home of Abubaker.
Since early this year, Israeli troops have already demolished four homes of four Palestinian prisoners, in the central West Bank cities of Ramallah, Jenin and Albeira.
The four prisoners were identified as Ahmad Qonbo’ of Jenin, Waleed Hanasha, Yazzan Maghames and Qassam Albarghouthi of Ramallah and Albeira.
Israeli policy of demolition of Palestinian homes has been in place for many decades, now. The homes demolition is viewed by international law as a form of collective punishment that should come to an end.
Noteworthy, no single case of home demolition for an Israeli, indicted of murdering or harming a Palestinian, has been reported, over the past several decades.

Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Thursday evening arrested a Palestinian boy at Qalandiya checkpoint north of Jerusalem.
Israeli sources claimed the boy was arrested over knife possession.
The boy was detained and transferred to an undeclared destination, and no further details were reported.
Palestinian local residents said this child arrest case was the second on Thursday, but no confirmed information about the identity of the first child and the reason behind his detention was given.

Israeli navy Thursday night detained four Palestinian fishermen off the coast of Rafah city in the southern besieged Gaza Strip, said WAFA correspondent.
He confirmed that Israeli naval boats surrounded a fishing boat with four fishermen aboard offshore the city, detained them and seized the boat.
Fourteen years following the Israeli “disengagement” from Gaza, Israel has not actually disengaged from Gaza; it still maintains control of its land borders, access to the sea and airspace.
Two million Palestinians live the Gaza Strip, which has been subjected to a punishing and crippling Israeli blockade for 12 years and repeated onslaughts that have heavily damaged much of the enclave’s infrastructure.
Gaza’s 2-million population remains under “remote control” occupation and a strict siege, which has destroyed the local economy, strangled Palestinian livelihoods, plunged them into unprecedented rates of unemployment and poverty, and cut off from the rest of the occupied Palestinian territories and the wider world.
Gaza remains occupied territory, having no control over its borders, territorial waters or airspace. Meanwhile, Israel upholds very few of its responsibilities as the occupying power, failing to provide for the basic needs of Palestinian civilians living in the territory.
Every two in three Palestinians in Gaza is a refugee from lands inside what is now Israel. That government forbids them from exercising their right to return as enshrined in international law because they are not Jews.
