The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) brutally assaulted four Palestinians from Beit Fujar town, south of Bethlehem, during their arrest, the Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) revealed Thursday.
Following her visit to Etzion detention center, PPS lawyer Jacqueline Fararjeh said that the two brothers Hussein and Issam Deirya were subjected to brutal beating by rifle butts before being arrested by Israeli forces.
The bruise-streaks all over their bodies are clearly defined, she pointed out.
The prisoner Mahmoud Ibrahim, 19, has been also violently beaten during his arrest at the hands of Israeli forces before being savagely dragged to the Israeli jeep. Along the same line, Israeli forces assaulted and brutally beat the prisoner Imad Deirya before his detention. The four prisoners were arrested on 20 and 21 June, 2016.

The Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) managed, Thursday, to obtain an acquittal for an imprisoned Palestinian child, who was kidnapped by the army 45 days ago, as he was returning home from school.
PPS lawyer Elia Theodory said the acquitted child, Abdullah Mohammad Fayez Qassem, 15, from the central West Bank district of Ramallah, was kidnapped on May 12th, while heading back home from school.
He added that the Israeli military prosecutor based its allegations on testimonies of soldiers who abducted the child, after claiming he hurled stones on their military jeep, but were inconsistent in their statements.
The court decided to keep the child imprisoned for two more days, to give the military prosecutor time to determine whether to file an appeal.
Ofer Military Court Acquits Child of Stone Throwing Conviction

The Israeli occupation army claimed responsibility for the abduction of five Palestinians from the West Bank on account of their involvement in anti-occupation activism.
Several Palestinian civilians choked on teargas after the IOF rolled into Qalqilya and wreaked havoc on civilian homes and fired teargas canisters at random.
The occupation troops stormed the city at the crack of dawn and ravaged commercial shops, sparking violent clashes with the Palestinians. Two Palestinian citizens were kidnapped by the IOF from the city.
The father of journalist Naser al-Khaseeb was kidnapped by the IOF from his own family home in Ramallah’s northern town of Aroura. Naser was arrested a few days earlier from the Birzeit University, where he teaches.
The IOF further kidnapped an unidentified youth from northern Ramallah. The Israeli military forces also stormed Bethlehem’s towns of al-Abidiyeh, to the northeast, and al-Khader, to the west, before they kidnapped a youngster.
Violent clashes burst out near the international Khader stadium after the IOF targeted civilians with teargas canisters. The IOF stormed Nablus and raked through residential neighborhoods in search for Palestinian anti-occupation activists.
Palestinian youth Aseed Rayhan was kidnapped by the Israeli soldiers from Tel town at predawn time on his way to the al-Aqsa Mosque to perform his prayers. Palestinian citizen Muhammad Akram al-Jubari was also kidnapped by the IOF from al-Khalil province.
The campaign culminated in the abduction of another Palestinian citizen from his own family home in Occupied Jerusalem.

It added that the soldiers also invaded and searched homes in occupied Jerusalem, and kidnapped three Palestinians, identified as Wahib Dandees, Rashrash Ali Obeidat, and Firas Hasan Obeidat.

Hamas slammed an Israeli military rule sentencing four anti-occupation fighters to two life-sentences, vowing to try its best to release Palestinians from Israeli jails.
Hamas spokesperson Hosam Badran said the Palestinian resistance will do whatever it takes to release the Palestinian detainees from Israeli jails.
He hailed the anti-occupation fighters who carried out the Itamar attack in October 2015. He added that the attack is a natural response to the Israeli arson attack on the Dawabsheh family, which took away the life of 18-month-old toddler and his parents.
“The Itamar operation will not be the last on the road to national liberation,” Badran vowed.

The Israeli Ofer court on Wednesday extended the remand of two Palestinian policemen to nine days pending investigation.
The two policemen were identified as brothers Muhammad and Abdullah Jihad al-Mseimi, both arrested last Saturday at the Zaatara checkpoint, in southern Nablus.
The Israeli occupation authorities also renewed the administrative prison-terms of three Palestinian detainees from Jenin province to four months.
The Palestinian Prisoners Society identified the detainees as Raed Ali Saba’na, Mustafa Ahmad Saba’na, and Majd Ahmad Amarna.
Over 6,000 Palestinians are held in Israeli jails including around 600 in administrative detention.

The forum raised alarm bells over the Israeli deliberate and escalated attacks against Palestinian journalists especially after the Israeli occupation authorities renewed the administrative detention of five imprisoned journalists.
The statement pointed out that the imprisoned journalist Bassem al-Sayeh suffers from a very difficult health situation.
The forum called on Reporters Without Borders and Committee to Protect Journalists and human rights institutions to intervene for the release and protection of Palestinian journalists.

An Israeli military court sentenced four Palestinian anti-occupation youths to two life-sentences and 30 years in jail.
The Salem military court issued the sentences against Abdullah Al-Haj Hamad, his brother Yahya, Amjad Alewi, Karam al-Mesri, and Sameer al-Koussa on account of their involvement in the Itamar anti-occupation shooting attack in October 2015.
According to Abdullah al-Haj Hamad, the Israeli judge forced the captives’ families out of the court room allegedly after the detainees’ refused to be brought before the judge.
Meanwhile, a court hearing is expected to be held sometime next month over the case of the three Palestinian detainees Ragheb Alewi, Zayd Amer, and Bassam al-Sayeh, accused of the same charges.
Over recent months, the Israeli occupation authorities knocked down the homes of five Palestinian anti-occupation activists.

The rally was staged by the Popular Front for Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) in solidarity with prisoner Bilal al-Kayed who is being held administratively in an Israeli lock-up after the end of his 14-year sentence.
The rally-goers lifted Palestinian flags and Kayed’s photos. Speaking during the rally, activist Maher Harb expressed the Palestinians’ firm condemnation of the Israeli arbitrary decision to hold Kayed in administrative detention, with neither charge nor trial.
“Palestinians will never remain mum over their infringed rights,” Harb said. “We have to join forces and implement a unified national agenda so as to release our detainees from Israeli prisons and make our dreams come true.”
Representative of the committee to coordinate between national factions, Muhammad Dweikat, also slammed the Israeli administrative sentence, adding that Israel should assume whatever repercussions to be generated by the move.
“We have to work together against such Israeli practices seeking to deepen the wounds of Palestinian detainees,” he further stated. Kayed’s mother, who joined the rally, said a hearing is expected to be held by the Ofer court on Wednesday over the new administrative prison-term.

The kidnapped have been identified as Majed Sa’id Karakra, Mohammad Badea’ Abu Musallam, 18, Majdi Hussein Hreish, Taleb Ismael Tarayra, 19, Monther Rida Hameeda, 17, Amir Issam Abu Hussein, 15, Mo’in Lutfi Khalaf, 26, and Mohammad Badran Tarayra, 13.
In Jerusalem, the soldiers kidnapped seven Palestinians, including children, after storming and searching their homes.
They have been identified as Mohammad Abu ‘Oweiss, 17, Tamer Darweesh, 17, Nader Mheisin, 16, Abed Abu Saima, 16, Nasser Abu Khdeir, Abed Jamal Abu Rabea’, and Wi’am Hamada.
In the northern West Bank city of Nablus, the soldiers kidnapped two Palestinians, identified as Husam Zeid Hussein and Ahmad Awni Jaber.
In Tulkarem, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank, the soldiers kidnapped six Palestinians, identified as Fathi Waleed Nimir, 21, Bara’ Maher Adas, 21, Ahmad Mahmoud Shehada, 19, Ahmad Mahmoud Sharaqa, Ayman Ermeilat and his brother Mo’men.
In Qalqilia, also in northern West Bank, the soldiers kidnapped three Palestinians, identified as Adnan Zeid Amer, and his brother, Ezzeddin, in addition to a security officer, identified as Ma’an Mohammad Radwan.
In Hebron, in the southern part of the West Bank, the soldiers kidnapped three Palestinians, identified as Yousef Sami al-Hoor, 22, Mahmoud Khalil Abu Awad, 27, and Adham Ziad al-Bakri.
In Bethlehem, the soldiers kidnapped two Palestinians, identified as Malek Akram Taqatqa, 18, and Bara’ Nabil Thawabta, 18.
27 Palestinians kidnapped by IOF in predawn West Bank sweep
At least 27 Palestinians were kidnapped by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Wednesday in a mass abduction sweep launched across the West Bank.
Sources based in Tulkarem province said the IOF rolled into the city’s eastern suburbs at 2 a.m. and kidnapped three Palestinians. The IOF reportedly cracked down on Palestinian protesters and wreaked havoc on civilian homes at predawn time.
The IOF soldiers further stormed Nablus city and rummaged into Palestinian homes. Clashes burst out between dozens of Palestinian protesters and the occupation troops.
The IOF attacked the protesters with randomly-shot waves of teargas canisters and prevented Muslim worshipers from heading to the local mosque to perform their dawn prayers. The IOF broke into Nablus’s eastern town of Deir al-Hatab and kidnapped a Palestinian youth from his own family home.
A few hours earlier, the IOF soldiers stormed Qalqilya city, in the northern occupied West Bank, and ravaged a farm in Azzoun town, before they kidnapped the Palestinian citizens Adnan Zayd and Ezzedine Amer.
The assault culminated in the confiscation of the detainees’ private vehicle. Over recent months, the IOF stepped up arbitrary abductions of Palestinian protesters in an attempt to snuff out the flames of anti-occupation activism across the occupied territories.
Army Kidnaps Thirteen Palestinians In The West Bank
Israeli soldiers invaded, on Wednesday at dawn, various communities in the occupied West Bank, searched homes and kidnapped at least thirteen Palestinians, including a security officer.
The Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) said the soldiers invaded Tubas city, in central West Bank, violently searched homes and kidnapped a young man, identified as Baha’ Nidal Kharraz.
It added that the soldiers invaded Deir al-Hatab village, east of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, and kidnapped Husam Zeid Qassem Hussein, 22, after storming and searching his family home.
Media sources in Nablus said the soldiers invaded several homes in the Dahia area, in Nablus, after damaging their front doors, before searching them and ransacking their property.
The soldiers destroyed and removed windows and doors of the invaded homes, and damaged electric equipment.
The sources added that the soldiers closed the road leading to a local mosque, and prevented the Palestinians from reaching it for dawn prayers.
The attack led to clashes between several local youths, who hurled stones on the soldiers, and the soldiers who fired many gas bombs and concussion grenades.
The soldiers also kidnapped a young man, identified as Ahmad Awni Jaber, 30, from Ektaba area, east of the northern West Bank city of Tulkarem, after stopping him on the Za’tara roadblock, south of Nablus.
Furthermore, the soldiers invaded Beit Fajjar town, south of Bethlehem, and searched homes before kidnapping two Palestinians, identified as Malek Akram Taqatqa, 18, and Bara’ Nabil Thawabta, 18.
Also, several military vehicles invaded Budrus village, northeast of the central West Bank city of Ramallah, and kidnapped Mo’in Lutfi Khalaf, 27, after searching his home, causing excessive damage.
The soldiers also invaded several villages, west of Ramallah, including Ni’lin, and fired flares, in addition to gas bombs and concussion grenades, while a number of local youths hurled stones at the invading vehicles.
In addition, the Hebron office of the PPS, in the southern part of the West Bank, said the soldiers invaded Yatta, Surif and Doura towns, and Kharsa village, violently searched many homes, and kidnapped Mahmoud Khalil Abu Awad, 27, from Kharsa.
The PPS said the soldiers stormed and violently searched several homes in the central West Bank district of Ramallah and kidnapped eight Palestinians.
The kidnapped have been identified as Majed Sa’id Karakra, Mohammad Badea’ Abu Musallam, 18, Majdi Hussein Hreish, Taleb Ismael Tarayra, 19, Monther Rida Hameeda, 17, Amir Issam Abu Hussein, 15, Mo’in Lutfi Khalaf, 26, and Mohammad Badran Tarayra, 13.
In Jerusalem, the soldiers kidnapped seven Palestinians, including children, after storming and searching their homes.
They have been identified as Mohammad Abu ‘Oweiss, 17, Tamer Darweesh, 17, Nader Mheisin, 16, Abed Abu Saima, 16, Nasser Abu Khdeir, Abed Jamal Abu Rabea’, and Wi’am Hamada.
In the northern West Bank city of Nablus, the soldiers kidnapped two Palestinians, identified as Husam Zeid Hussein and Ahmad Awni Jaber.
In Tulkarem, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank, the soldiers kidnapped six Palestinians, identified as Fathi Waleed Nimir, 21, Bara’ Maher Adas, 21, Ahmad Mahmoud Shehada, 19, Ahmad Mahmoud Sharaqa, Ayman Ermeilat and his brother Mo’men.
In Qalqilia, also in northern West Bank, the soldiers kidnapped three Palestinians, identified as Adnan Zeid Amer, and his brother, Ezzeddin, in addition to a security officer, identified as Ma’an Mohammad Radwan.
In Hebron, in the southern part of the West Bank, the soldiers kidnapped three Palestinians, identified as Yousef Sami al-Hoor, 22, Mahmoud Khalil Abu Awad, 27, and Adham Ziad al-Bakri.
In Bethlehem, the soldiers kidnapped two Palestinians, identified as Malek Akram Taqatqa, 18, and Bara’ Nabil Thawabta, 18.
27 Palestinians kidnapped by IOF in predawn West Bank sweep
At least 27 Palestinians were kidnapped by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Wednesday in a mass abduction sweep launched across the West Bank.
Sources based in Tulkarem province said the IOF rolled into the city’s eastern suburbs at 2 a.m. and kidnapped three Palestinians. The IOF reportedly cracked down on Palestinian protesters and wreaked havoc on civilian homes at predawn time.
The IOF soldiers further stormed Nablus city and rummaged into Palestinian homes. Clashes burst out between dozens of Palestinian protesters and the occupation troops.
The IOF attacked the protesters with randomly-shot waves of teargas canisters and prevented Muslim worshipers from heading to the local mosque to perform their dawn prayers. The IOF broke into Nablus’s eastern town of Deir al-Hatab and kidnapped a Palestinian youth from his own family home.
A few hours earlier, the IOF soldiers stormed Qalqilya city, in the northern occupied West Bank, and ravaged a farm in Azzoun town, before they kidnapped the Palestinian citizens Adnan Zayd and Ezzedine Amer.
The assault culminated in the confiscation of the detainees’ private vehicle. Over recent months, the IOF stepped up arbitrary abductions of Palestinian protesters in an attempt to snuff out the flames of anti-occupation activism across the occupied territories.
Army Kidnaps Thirteen Palestinians In The West Bank
Israeli soldiers invaded, on Wednesday at dawn, various communities in the occupied West Bank, searched homes and kidnapped at least thirteen Palestinians, including a security officer.
The Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) said the soldiers invaded Tubas city, in central West Bank, violently searched homes and kidnapped a young man, identified as Baha’ Nidal Kharraz.
It added that the soldiers invaded Deir al-Hatab village, east of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, and kidnapped Husam Zeid Qassem Hussein, 22, after storming and searching his family home.
Media sources in Nablus said the soldiers invaded several homes in the Dahia area, in Nablus, after damaging their front doors, before searching them and ransacking their property.
The soldiers destroyed and removed windows and doors of the invaded homes, and damaged electric equipment.
The sources added that the soldiers closed the road leading to a local mosque, and prevented the Palestinians from reaching it for dawn prayers.
The attack led to clashes between several local youths, who hurled stones on the soldiers, and the soldiers who fired many gas bombs and concussion grenades.
The soldiers also kidnapped a young man, identified as Ahmad Awni Jaber, 30, from Ektaba area, east of the northern West Bank city of Tulkarem, after stopping him on the Za’tara roadblock, south of Nablus.
Furthermore, the soldiers invaded Beit Fajjar town, south of Bethlehem, and searched homes before kidnapping two Palestinians, identified as Malek Akram Taqatqa, 18, and Bara’ Nabil Thawabta, 18.
Also, several military vehicles invaded Budrus village, northeast of the central West Bank city of Ramallah, and kidnapped Mo’in Lutfi Khalaf, 27, after searching his home, causing excessive damage.
The soldiers also invaded several villages, west of Ramallah, including Ni’lin, and fired flares, in addition to gas bombs and concussion grenades, while a number of local youths hurled stones at the invading vehicles.
