The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) last night and at dawn Wednesday stormed different areas of the West Bank and Jerusalem and kidnaped several citizens.
According to local sources, the IOF kidnaped three Palestinian citizens from their homes in Tubas province.
In Nablus, Israeli officers at the Za’atara crossing kidnaped a young man called Hisham Bashkar, a resident of Askar refugee camp, as he was on his way to hand out invitations to his wedding, which was to be held in three days.
Two other citizens were taken prisoners during IOF campaigns in Qatanna village, northwest of Jerusalem, and Ramallah city.
The IOF also stormed Shu’afat refugee camp in east Jerusalem and carried out widespread raids on homes and property.
In al-Khalil, violent clashes reportedly broke out overnight between Israeli soldiers and local youths near the military watchtower at the main entrance to al-Arroub refugee camp.
Local sources said that many citizens and young protesters suffered from their exposure to tear gas fumes during the events.

Last Sunday, Jewish settlers resumed their daily provocative break-ins at the Aqsa Mosque after the Islamic Awqaf authority in Jerusalem reopened it at dawn for Muslim prayers for the first time since its closure in mid-March as a measure to contain the spread of coronavirus.
The Aqsa Mosque is exposed to daily desecration by Jewish settlers and police forces in the morning and the afternoon except on Fridays and Saturdays.

In Nablus, the IOF stormed Ein Beit al-Ma refugee camp and the towns of Tell and Beita and kidnaped five Palestinian citizens.
In Ramallah, the IOF stormed different towns and kidnaped three citizens, including an ex-detainee called Khaldoun al-Barghouthi.

In Qalqilya, the IOF arrested a 17-year-old Palestinian after summoning him for questioning at a checkpoint in the northern area of the city.
Meanwhile, Israel’s Salem Military Court on Tuesday decided to extend the detention of Zaid Ba’jawi, 15, for the tenth time, and delay his trial until 23 June.
Ba’jawi was kidnapped from his family home in Ya’bad town, Jenin, on 10 September 2019.

Local sources said that the IOF opened fire at Palestinian boy Rasem Ghorra, injuring him with a rubber-coated steel bullet in the leg.
Gorra was detained while injured and transferred to an undeclared destination.
Kafr Malik witnesses regular confrontations between Palestinian citizens and Israeli soldiers and settlers over growing land seizure and settlement expansion campaigns.

Israeli Troops reportedly abducted, earlier on Monday, at least 23 Palestinian residents, including a child and a former prisoner, across the Palestinian West Bank.
In Ramallah city, local sources confirmed that Israeli troops invaded the Almazr’a village, north of the city, as well as the Ni’lin village, to the west, before they abducted four residents, identified as Amro Abu Qre’, 24, an ex-prisoner, Mohammad Hannoun, 28 and his brother, Ahmad Hannoun, 26. video
In the southern West Bank city of Hebron, Israeli troops abducted six residents, including Ameen Alsaleeby, 18, a high-school student and child Khalil Za’leeq, 16.
Local sources in the city said that all those abducted were taken to an Israeli military post that is a part of the Israeli colonial settlement of Karmi Tsour, as well as to the Etzion military post, north of Hebron.
Also in Hebron, Israeli troops invaded the Tabqa village, south of the city and abducted Faker Abu Ras, 25 and Ahmad Abu Ras. The troops also invaded the al-Fawwar refugee camp in the city, before they abducted Ahmad Jamal and Ataiya Alnajjar, 36. Witnesses said that Israeli soldiers vandalized the homes of the two Palestinians, as well.
In the West Bank city of Jericho, Israeli troops abducted five other residents, after having invaded the Jiftlick village, north of the city. Local sources identified those abducted as Amin Annouz, Jom’a Jahaleen, Anwar Abu Jouda and his two sons Raed and Jehad.
Meanwhile, Israeli troops in the northern West Bank city of Tulkarem, abducted three residents from the Alshouka neighborhood, north of the city. They were identified as Abdallah Barakat, 25, Mohammad Hanoun, 26, Samir Subhi and Mohammad Mahdawi, 26.
In Nablus city, Israeli troops abducted three Palestinian residents after having invaded the Balata refugee camp. The abducted Palestinians were identified as Ayham Arayshi, 20, Mohammad Arasyshi, 20, Wa’el Abu Mustafa, 17.

Noteworthy, Israeli troops’ practice of abduction has been recently been stepped up, as Israeli leaders have declared their intention to annex the Palestinian West Bank to the occupation state of Israel.
Many observers suggest that such an annexation is illegal, based on international law and relevant United Nations’ resolutions and that if Israel goes ahead with the plan, the region could enter a new cycle of violence.
According to United Nations’ Security Council resolution, 242 of 1967, Israel is an occupying power that should immediately withdraw its forces from Arab and Palestinian lands, including the West Bank, which it occupied by force in June 4, 1967.

Israeli forces today seized bulldozers, a water tank and a water irrigation system in al-Jiftlik village in the occupied Jordan Valley and declared the area a closed military zone, according to Palestinian activists and security sources.
The sources told WAFA that Israeli soldiers set up a checkpoint in al-Jiftlik and prevented people from accessing the nearby city of Jericho, while telling people that al-Jiftlik is a closed military zone until 6:00 P.M.
They also said that the soldiers broke into and ransacked several homes in the village and detailed five people, including a man and his two sons.
Meanwhile, soldiers dismantled and seized an irrigation system that was providing water to over 40 dunums of land planted with grape vines and palm trees, two bulldozers, a tractor and a water tank belonging to Palestinian citizens and families, according to Aref Daraghmeh, a local activist.
