Israeli troops abducted, on Tuesday at night a young man who suffers from Meninges, near the illegal Itamar colony, built on Palestinian lands near Nablus in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.
The father of the abducted young man, Ghassan Nasasra, said that he was informed about the arrest of his son, Mahfouth, when an Israeli intelligence officer called him, shortly before midnight Tuesday, and told him that the army has his son in custody.
He further noted to the Quds News Network that the officer called him, and told him to come to the military base carrying the medicine for his son.
“I thought that my son was at home, I was surprised by the call, the officer even refused to identify himself, and only told me to bring the medicine to the outside gate of Huwwara military base,” the father added, “We went there within the 25 minutes the officer gave us, I then asked to see my son, but the officer refused.”
“My son suffers from a number of issues, and when he does not take his medicine and gets those seizures, he starts acting out in an unpredictable manner,” Mahfouth added, “I am calling on various human rights groups to intervene, all that I know is that he has been taken to Petah Tikva interrogation facility, but I was given no other information regarding his arrest.” video
“I thank God that they didn’t kill him, the same way they did when they killed Eyad al-Hallaq in Jerusalem,” he said, “After my son gets his seizures, he starts doing things he isn’t aware of; he becomes unaware of his surroundings, and we still do not know anything about his arrest, especially since the army is not providing any information.”

PPS confirmed in a press release that Israeli police detained three Palestinians after ransacking their houses in the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Issawiya, and another from Jerusalem’s Old City. video
PPS also confirmed an Israeli military raid in Beit Anan village, northwest of Jerusalem, resulting in the detention of two others.
In Hebron district, Israeli military vehicles stormed Yatta town, south of Hebron, where soldiers detained three brothers and seized their lathing machines.
Soldiers conducted a similar raid in Ash-Shuyukh town, north of Hebron, where they rounded up two Palestinians.
Two separate raids were reported in the Hebron-district towns of Dura and Bani Naim, where soldiers searched several houses, turning them upside down. No detentions were reported though.
In the northern West Bank, PPS confirmed that three others were detained from Jenin district. They were identified as residents of Deir Abu Da'if and Qabatia town, east and south of Jenin respectively.

Israeli forces frequently raid Palestinian houses almost on a daily basis across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for “wanted” Palestinians, triggering clashes with residents.
These raids, which take place also in areas under the full control of the Palestinian Authority, are conducted with no need for a search warrant, whenever and wherever the military chooses in keeping with its sweeping arbitrary powers.
According to Palestinian figures, roughly 5,700 Palestinians -- including numerous women and children -- are currently languishing in Israeli detention facilities.
Under Israeli military law army commanders have full executive, legislative and judicial authority over 3 million Palestinians living in the West Bank. Palestinians have no say in how this authority is exercised.

The Israeli Security Agency (Shabak) lifted, on Sunday evening, a gag order on the abduction of a Palestinian who is believed to be behind the death of an Israeli soldier during an invasion into Ya’bad town, near the northern West Bank city of Jenin, on May 12, 2020.
The Shabak stated that the Palestinian, Nathmi Abu Bakr, 49, is one of the dozens who were taken prisoner shortly after the death of the soldier, and in the hours and days that followed the incident, during extensive military invasions and searches in the town.
The allegation is that Nathmi went onto the rooftop of his own home, and dropped a slab on the invading soldiers, killing one, identified as Amit Ben Ygal, 21.
However, the only link between Nathmi and the deceased soldier is that the slab was reportedly dropped from his rooftop, which is also easily accessible to others.
After the death of the soldier during the extensive military invasion into Ya’bad, the soldiers stormed and violently searched dozens of homes, causing excessive damage, in addition to abducting scores of Palestinians.
On his part, Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, “saluted the army and the Shabak for the arrest,” and stated that he ordered the demolition of the Nathmi’s home, an act of collective punishment that violates International Law and the Fourth Geneva Convention.
