Local sources stated that Israeli forces arrested at early hours of this morning two youths at Hawara checkpoint south of Nablus while 15 military vehicles raided Jenin city and launched an arrest campaign.
The sources said that the IOF arrested Ali Ershaid, 26, after raiding his house in Abu Dahir neighborhood, in addition to storming a number of houses in Jenin where they summoned Mahmoud Jihad Gesnawi, 26, for interrogation.
The occupation forces roamed throughout Jenin villages and violently stormed into the residents' houses, where a number of temporary checkpoints were erected.

Mizan center for human rights said that Israeli occupation forces at Erez crossing, to the north of Gaza Strip, had detained 15 Palestinian citizens while attempting to cross the terminal since the start of 2013. The center said in a statement on Sunday that the detainees included eight patients and their escorts, who were on their way for treatment in West Bank or Jerusalem hospitals.
The center charged the Israeli occupation authorities with adamantly tightening the noose on the Gaza inhabitants and forcing restrictions on their freedom of movement and travel.
It said that the IOA was exploiting the need of Gaza patients for treatment outside the besieged enclave, due to poor health conditions, to detain or recruit them to work as informants.
The center strongly denounced the IOA exploitation of the need of those patients and other Palestinians, who are compelled to use that crossing, adding that it reflected the IOA disregard to the international humanitarian law and constituted a violation of the fourth Geneva Convention.
Mizan warned the world community that the siege on Gaza was worsening humanitarian conditions in the Strip, and demanded an immediate end to the blockade.

Israeli occupation authorities released captive Fadwa Ghanim, 56, on bail until the date of her court hearing, which was not fixed yet, her family members said on Sunday. They told Ahrar center for human rights that Ghanim, from Tulkarem, was released from Hasharon jail last Wednesday on 15,000 shekels bail, but ordered to remain under house arrest in Teiba city in 1948 occupied Palestine.
Fuad Al-Khafsh, the director of Ahrar center, said that Ghanim was arrested during her visit to her brother in Negev jail on 29th September.
He said that Ghanim was interrogated for a few days, adding that her house arrest was a violation of her freedom of movement.
Ghanim called for establishing a committee to defend Palestinian female detainees in Israeli jails, noting that they are subjected to medical neglect and humiliation.

The Palestinian prisoners, including patients, in Israeli jails threatened to take protest steps soon to pressure the Israeli prison authority to end its medical neglect policy against them. Ragheb Abu Dyak, head of the popular committee for the support of prisoners in Jenin city, said in a press release on Sunday that the health conditions of prisoners in Israeli jails have become very serious.
He said that more than one third of the prisoners suffer from diseases and difficult health conditions.
He added that there are 1,400 cases in Israeli jails, 150 of them suffer from chronic diseases and 25 others are cancer patients.
208 Palestinian prisoners have died either inside Israeli jails or soon after their release. The vast majority of them died because of the absence of proper medical care in Israeli jails and the poor incarceration conditions.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Friday evening released the child Mohammed Hamid, 12, after he was arrested and assaulted, in Silwad east of Ramallah. The IOF kidnapped Mohammed during violent clashes between Israeli forces and Palestinian youths on the Shohadaa roundabout in Silwad, after accusing him of throwing stones at Israeli soldiers.
His family said that the occupation released him after midnight, after a detention that lasted for more than seven hours in Ben Yamin Camp at Ofer prison. During his detention Mohammed was severely assaulted by the Israeli soldiers, which resulted in breaking his hand and other bruises in the head and all over his body.
The IOF has also arrested and attacked four other children, causing them bruises.
Their families appealed to the competent authorities to intervene for the release of their sons who have been absent from schools due to their detention.
Another Palestinian child from Fawwar camp south of al-Khalil was arrested on Saturday evening by the Israeli soldiers, who have been deployed in the region.
Eyewitnesses said that more than five Israeli patrols were present at the entrance to the camp during the arrest of the child who was then taken to an unknown destination.
They added that the occupation forces attacked the citizens and searched the vehicles entering and leaving the camp, while a state of tension was prevailing in the place amid expectations of outbreak of new confrontations.

The European network for human rights-UFree expressed its deep concern over the lives of Palestinian patients in Israeli jails and the medical neglect they are exposed to, criticizing the absence of the media role in highlighting their issue. According to UFree, there are 1,700 detained patients out of 4,600 Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails, 75 of them suffer from cancer, heart problems, disabilities and chronic kidney diseases, in addition to psychological problems due to the difficult detention conditions and the deliberate medical neglect policy pursued by Israeli jailers.
UFree highlighted the difficult health conditions of prisoners Naim Shawamra and Motasem Raddad, saying that the former suffers from muscular dystrophy that caused his inability to walk or talk and the latter suffers colon cancer and his health dramatically deteriorated after the cancer spread throughout his body despite receiving chemotherapy.
UFree appealed to the Red Cross to urgently work on improving the Palestinian patients' detention conditions in Israeli jails.
It also demanded the international community to necessarily assume its human, legal and moral responsibilities and pressure the Israeli occupation regime to abide by its international commitments, mainly the fourth Geneva convention.

The Head of the Prisoners National Movement said that ill prisoner Yosri al-Masri,30, from Deir al-Balah, who suffers from thyroid cancer, returned to Nafha Prison after having a surgery to treat cancer without eradicating it. “The prisoner spent few days after the surgery in Muraj Prison Hospital without taking the appropriate care,” He told the Prisoners Studies Center, adding that his treatment has not finished by this stage so we warned of new recklessness of al-Masri’s health.
Center’s Director General Ra’fat Hamdouna called for pressing on the Israeli occupation to save the lives of the Palestinian prisoners in the Israeli jails.
The lack of health care, medical examination, and necessary medicine leaves more victims if the occupation continues his unjust policy against prisoners without a serious international pressure, he added.
Hamdouna appealed to the international and human rights organizations and media to interfere to expose the Israeli violation against Palestinian prisoners.
It is noteworthy that al-Masri, who has been detained for ten years, is sentenced to serve 20 years in prison.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) physically assaulted on Friday a Palestinian family after raiding its home in Al-Aroub refugee camp in Al-Khalil city and clashed with young men in different areas of the city. Red Crescent sources in Al-Aroub refugee camp said that a Palestinian citizen named Mohamed Abu Dawoud was transferred along with his wife and children to Al-Khalil hospital after they were all violently beaten by Israeli soldiers during a raid on their home.
The sources noted that the IOF soldiers almost on a daily basis storm the house of this family, occupy its roof and fire tear gas grenades and rubber bullets at Palestinian passersby.
The sources also affirmed that IOF attacked other Palestinian families during its campaign in the camp and intensively fired tear gas grenades at them causing many of them, especially women and children, to suffocate.
Several young men also suffered rubber bullet injuries during violent clashes in the camp.
Similar clashes erupted at the entrance to Al-Fawwar refugee camp and in the towns of Beit Ummar and Tabaka, and Khursa as well as on Shalala street in central Al-Khalil.
On the same day, two young men were kidnapped from their homes during IOF raids in Yatta town.

Father of Jordanian captive child Mohammed Mehdi marched in the streets of Amman in support of Jordanian prisoners in Israeli jails. The father walked in Amman's streets on Thursday holding his son' picture in an attempt to shed light on Jordanian prisoners' plight in Israeli prisons.
Mehdi's father charged that his son had been subjected to continued torture and abuses that caused him severe physical problems.
The Israeli occupation authorities (IOA) have prevented last week Mehdi's father from visiting his son to supply him with winter clothes. The IOA attributed the ban to the state of tension prevailing in Israeli prisons following the martyrdom of the patient prisoner Hasan Al-Torabi in custody.
Mohamed Mahdi was arrested on March 15, 2013 for stoning an Israeli patrol, which led to the injury of 7 soldiers. He is not yet sentenced, but his charge could jail him dozens of years, as the Israeli prosecution is trying to change his charge into that of attempted murder.

The Israeli government is considering forcing Palestinian detainees from Jerusalem and historic Palestine into exile should they be released under an agreement with the Palestinian Authority.
The detainees have been imprisoned since before the first Oslo Agreement of 1994.
Israel refused to release any of the 27 detainees during the first and second phases in which it released, back in mid-August 26 veteran detainees (14 from Gaza and 12 from the West bank, and in late October when it released 26 veteran detainees (21 from Gaza and five from the West Bank).
Tel Aviv will be releasing more detainees on December 29, and on March 28 2014.
A number of Arab members of the Israeli Knesset visited veteran Palestinian detainees who told them that “not being released this December would be an act of betrayal against them”, and “a sort of capital punishment imposed on them by Palestinian negotiators.”
They urged the Palestinian Authority (PA) not to succumb to Israeli pressure, and said that they will not accept to be forced into exile in return for their release. They are demanding to be sent home once they are freed.
The Wattan News Agency has reported that Arab Mk’s Basel Ghattas and Ibrahim Sarsour met a number of senior Palestinian political leaders held by Israel, including Marwan Barghouthi, who said that all Jerusalem and historic Palestine detainees must be released during the third phase.
Ghattas told the Qatar-based Al-Jazeera that the detained leaders said all detainees refuse to be exiled from Palestine in return for their release, adding that this issue resembles one of the ways Israel avoids implementing its agreements and vows.
He further stated that the release of all 114 veteran detainees has nothing to do with the progress of peace talks, as the talks were resumed in exchange of having the P.A. suspend its lawsuits against Israel in International Courts.
On his part, Sarsour said Israel has been using the issue of the detainees to blackmail the P.A into providing more concessions on core issues, while the steadfastness and the ongoing struggle of the detainees themselves has always been strong.
