The occupation authorities transferred on Sunday night the 11-year old Ali Ehab Alqam to a closed institute on condition of not being contacted or visited by his family.
The child’s father explained that his son was transferred on Sunday night from Hadassah Ein Kerem hospital to a closed institute in the 1948 lands under the supervision of Israeli police and office of social affairs after staying in the hospital for 12 days following an injury he suffered after being shot by the light rails guard in the settlement of Pisgat Zi’ev along with his 14-year old cousin Mouawya.
He also explained that the social affairs office informed him that he won’t be able to visit or call his son for at least one month; the duration in which Ali will stay at the institute was still undecided.
He added that he went back to Hadassah Ein Kerem hospital and signed documents regarding Ali’s leaving with the social affairs office to the closed institute; note that Ali still requires treatment at the hospital and took the necessary medications with him.
He also added that he can’t walk by himself and needs help or a wheelchair because one of the bullets went through his pelvis and he recently underwent a surgery.
He also underwent another surgery in the intestines and was stitched; he is still receiving treatment and requires further follow-up.
Ali’s father also mentioned that he was able to visit his son on Friday for 20 minutes inside the room allocated for Ali and in the presence of police personnel; the police banned him from bringing clothes and other items to Ali during the visit.

Israeli Occupation Authority (IOA) turned Palestinian prisoner Omar al-Barghouthi, 65, from Kaubar town near Ramallah, to administrative detention for six new months.
Palestinian Prisoner Society revealed on Monday that Barghouthi is arrested for the thirteenth time. He was released from Israeli jails six months ago after spending a year in imprisonment.
The society also disclosed that the old captive suffers from health problems in the heart and back. He spent a total of 26 years in Israeli prisons distributed to sentences and administrative detention.

The kidnapped have been identified as Issa Saber al-Beerawi, Mohammad Najjar, his brother Rami, Naim Aziz Roshdi, Noureddin Jawabra, 16, Ali Sabarna, Anwar Awad, Mahmoud ‘Alqam, Wahid Abu Mariya, Ziad Ekhlayyel, Thaer Hmeidat, Amjad Dergham, Ahmad Tarayra, Zeineddin Manasra and Odai Farid Zeidat.
The PPS added that the soldiers also kidnapped four Palestinians in the northern West Bank district of Nablus.
They have been identified as Samer Hanani, Mos’ab Mleitat, Ibrahim Abu Heit, and Hamed Jasser Hamayel, 13, who was taken prisoner on the Za’tara roadblock.
Several army vehicles and jeeps invaded 'Azzoun town, in the northern West Bank district of Qalqilia, and kidnapped former a political prisoner, identified as Sa’id Ziad Abu Haniyya, 20, and Rakan Ghaleb Mashal, 20.

Israeli soldiers conducted, earlier Monday, extensive military invasions, and searches of homes, in different parts of the southern West Bank district of Hebron, and kidnapped at least thirteen Palestinians.
Several military vehicles invaded Beit Ummar town, north of Hebron, and kidnapped eight Palestinians after interrogating them and their families.
Mohammad Ayyad Awad, spokesperson of the Popular Committee in the town, said the soldiers kidnapped Wahid Hamdi Abu Mariya, 47 (a former political prisoner who spent 18 years in Israeli jails, and the brother of Falah Abu Mariya who was killed by army fire in his own home on July 23.)
He added that the army also kidnapped Ziad Bader Ekhlayyel, 35, who was previously injured, and disabled by Israeli army fire, former political prisoner Mahmoud Jamil ‘Alqam, 37, former political prisoner Ali Sa’id Sabarna, 22, former political prisoner Anwar Yousef Awad, 21, Issa Saber Issa al-Beerawi, 23, in addition to Mohammad Abdul-Jabbar Najjar, 19, and his brother Rami, 23.
The soldiers also invaded Abu at-Touq area, in Beit Ummar, and photographed former political prisoner Naseem Khader Al-‘Allami, in his own home, in addition to photographing several nearby homes.
In related news, the soldiers handed a child, identified as Abada Samir Mohammad al-‘Allami, only eleven years of age, a military warrant for interrogation in the Etzion base.
It is worth mentioning that the army has kidnapped at least 22 Palestinians in Beit Ummar, since the beginning of this month.
In addition, the soldiers invaded the al-'Arroub refugee camp, north of Hebron, and kidnapped Naim Aziz Roshdi, and a high-school student, identified as Noureddin Badran Jawabra.
Several military jeeps also invaded Ethna town and Khirbit Tawousa area in Doura, south of Hebron, and searched many homes before illegally confiscating 21.000 New Israeli Shekels from the home of political prisoner Naim Mahmoud Esleimiyya.
Two Palestinians, identified as Amjad Dergham Tarayra, and Tha’er Jamil Ehmeidat, have also been kidnapped from their homes in Bani Neim town, east of Hebron.

Local sources reported that IOF closed the three main entrances to Azoun town in Qalqilia before arresting two children aged 14.
Along the same line, IOF detained a 13-year-old child while crossing Za’atara military checkpoint south of Nablus.
The detained child was then transferred to an Israeli detention center.
A Palestinian rights group had earlier revealed that since October 1, 700 children have been arrested with the highest rates in Jerusalem and al-Khalil. Most of the detained children were conditionally released on bail, or under house arrest.
The group showed that a number of minors and kids were shot with live ammunition before they were arrested and taken to Israeli hospitals. 17-year-old Jalal Sharawna, for example, lost his leg.

Also on Sunday, the soldiers shot and injured a young Palestinian man with a rubber-coated steel bullet in the head, in Wad al-Hummus area, near Dar Salah, east of Bethlehem.
The young man was moved to the Beit Jala Governmental Hospital, suffering a moderate-but-stable injury.
In related news, the soldiers kidnapped two children, identified as Said Ziad Abu Haniyya, 14, and Arkan Mashal, 14, in Azzoun town, east of Qalqilia.
The soldiers also fired flares in the village, before invading it and several Palestinian agricultural lands, and closed three roads leading to the village with metal barriers. The closed roads are the northern street, Jayyous-Azzoun and Azzoun-Ezbet at-Tabib.

Medical sources pointed out that eight youths were shot with rubber bullets while ten others were treated for effects of tear gas inhalation.
The IOF had earlier declared Fujar town as a closed military zone and prevented journalists from covering the events.
Similar restrictions were imposed in the nearby towns as military checkpoints were erected at their entrances.

Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) continued for the third day besieging a Palestinian house in al-Aroub refugee camp in al-Khalil and turned it to military barracks.
The brother of the house owner Luai Jawabrah said that Israeli forces turned the house of his brother, Mohammad, to military barracks. The forces detained his brother’s family, which consists of the wife and three children, inside the house, he added.
Luai Jawabrah revealed that Israeli soldiers informed his brother that he will not be able to go out of his own home unless calmness returns to the West Bank. Mohammad’s family members are worried about the possibility of confiscating their house by the IOF in case they leave it, he underlined.
20 Israeli soldiers are occupying the house leaving only two rooms for the entire family. Dozens of other soldiers are deployed in the vicinity of the house for monitoring the main road close to the Aroub camp, which is known as Street 60, Luai said.

Sheikh Omar al-Kiswani, director of the Aqsa Mosque, said that a Jewish extremist tried to perform Talmudic rituals near al-Marwani prayer hall before Israeli policemen intervened and escorted him out of the compound.
Sheikh Kiswani added that some settlers described the Mosque as a temple mount and threatened to intensify their desecration of the Islamic holy shrine.

About 10 days ago, the IOF had raided and pillaged the same offices of the charity, which provides different kinds of support for orphans.

Two Palestinians got injured in protests in Aqrabah town southeast of Nablus on Saturday evening. Meanwhile, five others were arrested in Beit Ummar town in al-Khalil.

The army loaded the illegally seized medical supplies and equipment into military trucks, and withdrew from the village.
