Israeli Occupation Authority (IOA) detain three Palestinian female minor captives in Ashkelon isolation under very bad conditions. Two of the minors are still suffering from injuries by Israeli shooting at the time of arrest.
Riyadh al-Ashqar, media spokesman of Palestine Prisoners’ Center for Studies, revealed that the IOA transferred both detainees from hospitals to Ashkelon prison before completion of treatment. They are Istabrak Nour, 15, from Nablus and Marah Bakir, 16, from Occupied Jerusalem. The third captive Jihan Ereqat, 17, from Abu Dis in Occupied Jerusalem was transferred from the Russian Compound to Ashkelon prison.
Ashqar said captive Bakir stayed 24 days receiving treatment in Hadassah Hospital, due to being shot by 10 Israeli bullets at arrest time, while she is cuffed to hospital bed by hands and feet. Detainee Nour is suffering severe pain in the leg due to being shot by Israeli forces as well, he added.
Detention conditions of the three Palestinian minor girls are too harsh as they are held in a narrow room full of insects and dirt. They complain of poor food and deprivation of hot water for taking path. There are no appliances for cooking and the room lacks cleaning tools and materials despite demanding such needs. Prison management refuses providing them with enough blankets, clothes and other needs, Ashqar pointed out.

The Israeli Ofer military court afternoon Sunday extended the detention of 20-year-old injured detainee Azzam Shalaldeh, kidnapped by an undercover troop from al-Ahli hospital in al-Khalil, for five days in absentia.
Lawyer Karim Ujwa, from the prisoners’ and ex-prisoners’ committee, said Shalaldeh’s remand was extended in absentia on account of underway investigation procedures.
The detainee was not present at the court. The occupation authorities claimed this was the case because of his health status.
Lawyer Ujwa added following a visit he paid to the detainee at the Shaare Zedek Medical Center, that Shalaldeh is held in the surgery hall, with his hands and legs tied up with iron chains.
The same undercover unit that kidnapped Shalaldeh some few days ago also executed his 27-year-old cousin Abdullah on his way out of a lavatory.
The operation was widely condemned and considered a stark violation of hospitals by major human rights organisations and activists worldwide.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) overnight Saturday and at dawn Sunday kidnapped at least 24 Palestinians from the occupied West Bank and Occupied Jerusalem.
The Israeli Channel 7 said the occupation army claimed responsibility for the abduction of 22 allegedly wanted Palestinians, 13 among whom on charges of involvement in anti-occupation activities.
Local sources said 10 Palestinians were kidnapped from the southern West Bank province of al-Khalil.
The Israeli occupation soldiers apprehended the citizen Ahmad Mutawa’ Musalma and his son Shadi from Jabal al-Rahma. Ahmad’s other son Majdi was, meanwhile, summoned for interrogation
The IOF further ravaged Ahmad’s family home and seized a vehicle of his own.
Clashes burst out in the area after the IOF attacked civilian youths with randomly shot spates of gunfire and tear gas canisters.
The IOF also cordoned off Beit Awa in southern al-Khalil and sealed off its entrances with makeshift roadblocks, blocking Palestinians’ movement out of and into the area.
The Israeli occupation soldiers raked through the Yatta-Samou’ access road in search for Friday’s alleged anti-occupation shooters.
The IOF further stormed al-Rama neighborhood and kidnapped 27-year-old Mohamed Abdul Sami’ al-Ja’bari from his own family home.
Mohamed’s family said the IOF wreaked havoc on the building and stole 150 Jordanian Dinars.

Mohamed Marqasto 13
"You should kneel down and pray right away because I did not put a bullet in your child's head," an Israeli interrogator told the father of 13-year-old Mohamed Marqasto, who was kidnapped a few days ago from Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in Occupied Jerusalem.
"When I entered the [interrogation] room, I found more than one interrogator in front of me, but my eyes were looking for my kid, who is below age 14, when suddenly my heart started beating for seeing him with blood and signs of torture on his face," Mustafa Marqasto, the father of the child, said.
According to the father, Israeli policemen last Friday physically assaulted his son Mohamed as he was on his way from his home in Shuafat refugee camp, northeast of Jerusalem, to another family house in the Old City of Jerusalem before taking him handcuffed to al-Maskubiya police station for interrogation.
The Israeli police falsely accused his son of attempting to stab an officer with an alleged knife he was carrying with him in a small bag when he was walking on a street in Jerusalem.
One hour later, the father was phoned by the police and ordered to come to the station to see his son. Upon his arrival, he was exposed to humiliation and search before he was allowed to enter the interrogation room.
"I was maltreated, searched and verbally attacked until I reached the room where my son was handcuffed with his face bleeding," the father elaborated.
"I could not control myself and asked them, "How could such a child kill? And where was that knife that was found with him? There were more than one knife with them, but one of them raised a particular knife and said, "With this one." Then I told him that I had never seen this in my house."
The father affirmed to the Israeli interrogator that his son confessed to carrying that knife because of his exposure to intimidation and physical abuse, and asked him to order his transfer to a hospital, but the officer refused and threatened to beat his son to death.
"Do not worry, your son will die here," the Israeli officer told the father.

It is rare to find scenes that can express a complex reality or major issue, but one such was some video footage leaked recently, which exposed part of the heinous interrogation of a Palestinian child. Ranking officers in the Israeli occupation security services tried to overpower a 13 year old boy, break his will and crush his dignity.
The astonishing video shows the impressive resilience of the Palestinian people, represented by this child from Jerusalem. The boy, Ahmed Manasrah, remains strong, unwilling to break, no matter how much the Israeli officers aggravate him with moral and physical pressure. The injured child was seen standing in the face of the human monsters who earn their daily bread by spreading systematic intimidation and fear in this manner.
Manasrah has a story to tell. A number of Israelis crowded around him after he was injured and left him to bleed for an extended period of time. They cursed and insulted him as he lay in his own blood on the side of the road after being hit by an Israeli car. Israelis the age of his father yelled fascist statements and obscene insults at him, while repeatedly telling him to die. This was videoed and the shocking footage was seen by the public across the world; but could he expect any better from the citizens of such a vile colonial country? Manasrah was arrested while he was still injured and accused of trying to stab someone. His 16 year old cousin, Hassan, was executed by swift trigger-fingers with no questions asked. Another video of Ahmed was leaked showing him in hospital, a wounded child alone and handcuffed to the bed. This was followed by the newest video of the boy being interrogated, thus exposing the current Israeli situation warts and all, without any propaganda effects or makeup.
The interrogation scene sums up the reality, as Israeli institutions and security forces continue to pursue children relentlessly and adopt the necessary laws and measures required to do so; some shocking laws are on their way through the Knesset. This is a state where the masses are chanting “Death to Arabs” and calling for harsher measures against the Palestinians, months after electing an even more radical government than before. The inaccurately named Israel Defence Forces, meanwhile, do not hesitate in carrying out on-the-spot field executions by shooting anyone acting in an unfamiliar way, even if they are children — but only if they look Arab.
The chilling video reveals a few minutes of shocking, systematic oppression of a child in one of Israel’s countless intimidatory interrogation rooms across Palestine. What sort of psychological horror movie would we come out with if an entire day in such a place was caught on film? We may get the answer from the Palestinians who saw the “first showing” with their own eyes in the same rooms, including hundreds of children arrested by the Israeli army over the past month and who have been subjected to harsh interrogations.
The horrible clip gives us a rare opportunity to take a look at the Israeli occupation system from the inside. How pathetic it is as they try to fight the facts of history by continuing to oppress the Palestinian people, pressuring the families and children and blackmailing them in order to report the behaviour of their peers. The occupation system would not dare ask the children fundamental questions such as: what made you participate in a demonstration? Pick up a stone? Think of using a knife? The question about their motives equates to a question regarding the fate of the occupation itself because eliminating the driving forces behind such actions can only be achieved by ending the occupation.
What the Israeli occupation system essentially wants is to spread fear in the ranks of the Palestinian people and intimidate the new generation with these oppressive measures which aim to break their spirit. As such, what we saw in the video is nothing new compared to what other Palestinians have gone through, it just that this unprecedented leaked footage allows the world to see what Israel is up to. What is new, though, is that the brutal individuals in the videos have become the true spokespeople for the Israeli government, its institutions, army, intelligence agencies and police. They spoke to the world by means of this video in the language of reality that does not contain any of the verbal manoeuvres typically used by official spokespeople to cover their tracks.
As for Ahmed Manasrah, he has the right to speak on behalf of Palestine because anything he will say, and in whatever language he says it, will be more eloquent than what a hesitant president will have to say. The same president has been stuck in the maze called the “peace process” and has been betrayed by successive Israeli governments, occupants of the White House and the politicians leading on foreign policy in Europe.
Manasrah has every right to stand at the UN podium one day and tell the world the story of the young boy who was run over, injured, roughed up, handcuffed and insulted, as he represents a Palestinian generation that dreams of freedom and which the Israeli occupation, with all its might, has failed to oppress, break, or steal the hope of freedom from their eyes. He may start his speech by saying, “I am Ahmed Manasrah. When I was a child, my country was occupied…” and the audience will rise from their chairs to applaud him and cover their shame at the years of silence in the face of Israel’s brutal military occupation.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Friday evening kidnapped a Palestinian citizen at a makeshift checkpoint near Dar Salah town, east of Bethlehem city.
Local sources told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that Israeli soldiers intercepted the car of Omar al-Farroukh, from Sa'ir town in al-Khalil, on a road near Dar Salah town and embarked on searching it.
The soldiers detained Farroukh for a while on the road and prevented others from getting near his car at the pretext of finding knifes inside it.
They, then, arrested the driver and declared the car impounded.

Cement blocks became an obstacle for students every morning. They created heavy traffic jams causing students to arrive late to school.
This collective punishment wasn’t enough for the occupation; they also harassed students with sound grenades and tear gas canisters. Violating the right to education reached its maximum by raiding a school and arresting a student from inside the classroom. The occupation forces raided on 11/11/2015 Silwan Boys Secondary School in the neighborhood of Ras Al-Amoud in Silwan, searched school-bag, and arrested the 14-year old Jibril Al-A’war and handed the school’s director, Saleh Al-A’war, a call for interrogation. |

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) stormed overnight different areas in Jenin which led to the outbreak of violent clashes.
Local sources told the PIC reporter that the clashes broke out near Yabad town as IOF broke into several areas in the town.
Several breathing problems were reported during the clashes, while a 18-year-old teen was arrested and taken to an unknown detention center.

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) carried out overnight search and raid campaigns throughout al-Khalil looking for suspects in the shooting attack that took place south of the city earlier Friday.
At least one youth was detained as IOF soldiers stormed Abu Asja area near Dura town and violently broke into several shops and local homes.
Several military checkpoints were also erected at the entrances of several towns and villages in the province, restricting the movement of local residents.
A second youth was detained after IOF stormed his home in Samu town and summoned several others for investigation.
In Beit Ummar town, local youths managed to throw a Molotov cocktail at an Israeli military vehicle located at the entrance of the town. Israeli forces responded by shooting live rounds at the Palestinian youths.
Meanwhile, several people suffered from the effects of tear gas when Israeli forces stormed Za’ata town amid heavy fire of tear gas bombs.
Two Palestinians were also arrested as additional Israeli forces deployed across al-Samu village following an attack near it that left two Israeli settlers dead.
Following the attack, Israeli forces closed all entrances and roads leading to the scene, and closed the entrances to the nearby villages and towns in the city and searched passing vehicles.
Two Israelis were killed when gunmen opened fire on their vehicle near the illegal Otniel settlement. The suspects managed to flee the scene following the attack.
