Israeli soldiers abducted, on Tuesday at dawn, nine Palestinians from Bethlehem, Hebron, Ramallah and Jerusalem, in the occupied West Bank.
Media sources in Bethlehem said many army jeeps invaded Beit Fajjar town, south of the city, and the al-Obeyyat area in Bethlehem, searched many homes and abducted Mohammad Ali Taqatqa, 18, and Hammam Qaraqe’.
The town has been subject for frequent invasions, and violent searches of homes, while the soldiers also abducted many young men.
Furthermore, the soldiers searched homes in the al-Fawwar refugee camp, south of Hebron, in the southern part of the West Bank, and abducted Mustafa Jawad Silmi, and Ziad al-Adra.
The soldiers also abducted Ziad al-Adra, from his home in Yatta town, south of Hebron.
The army installed many roadblocks at Hebron’s northern and southern roads, in addition to the towns of Halhoul and Sa’ir, before stopping and searching dozens of cars, and examined the ID cards of the Palestinians.
Also in Hebron, the soldiers stopped students and teachers while trying to enter Qortoba School, in the Shuhada Street, and held them for some time before allowing them to leave.
In occupied Jerusalem, the soldiers abducted four former political prisoners, identified as Jamil Issa al-Abbassi, 38, Rawhi al-Kalghassi, Jihad Qaws and Mahmoud al-Mo’nes.
In Ramallah, in central West Bank, the soldiers abducted Abdullah Mohammad Barghouthi.

An Israeli court sentenced a Palestinian detainee to a 17-year jail term.
Israel’s Central Court in Lod city ruled that Palestinian young man Malek al-Saada, aged 20, be jailed for 17 years and pay a fine of 35,000 shekels.
Prisoner al-Saada, a native of al-Khalil’s town of Halhul, was kidnapped by the Israeli occupation forces on March 28, 2017 on allegations that he carried out an anti-occupation stabbing attack in Lod city.

An Israeli military court on Sunday extended the detention of Amjad Na’alwa, the brother of a Palestinian young man who recently carried out a shooting operation in Barkan industrial settlement in the occupied West Bank.
The detention of Amjad is part of Israeli punitive measures taken by the Israeli intelligence against the Na’alwa family after their son, Ashraf, shot dead two Jewish settlers in his workplace in the Barkan settlement.
Informed sources told a reporter for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that the military court in Salem base, west of Jenin, rejected a request filed by a lawyer to release Amjad on bail and extended his detention.
Amjad was kidnapped from his home in Shuweika suburb of Tulkarem one day after his brother, Ashraf, carried out the shooting attack and escaped the scene.
Ashraf has managed to remain out of sight since October 7, 2018.

The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) has reported that the soldiers searched homes in Beit Fajjar town, south of Bethlehem, and abducted two children, identified as Yazan Mahmoud Taqatqa, 15, and Mofeed Mohammad Taqatqa, 14.
The PPS added that the soldiers also abducted Bara’ Riyad, Mojahed Harm ad-Dali and Qassem Jamal Hmeidan, from their homes on Biddu and Qotna towns, northeast of occupied Jerusalem.
The soldiers also searched homes in Ramallah, in central West Bank, and abducted Omar Ladadweh, Yousef Oleyyan and Zohdi al-Khawaja.
In occupied Jerusalem, the soldiers abducted a student of the Al-Aqsa School, in the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound, and took him to an unknown destination.

The Israeli occupation forces on Sunday afternoon cracked down on Palestinian schoolchildren near al-Laban al-Sawiya School, south of Nablus.
Eye-witnesses said schoolchildren were detained by Israeli soldiers on their way back home from of al-Laban al-Sawiya School.
The occupation forces detained a number of schoolchildren for hours and subjected them to intensive questioning.
Schoolchildren were forced to walk through rock-strewn roads after the occupation army sealed off the main access road to the area.
Sometime earlier, dozens of Palestinian students were injured after Israeli forces attacked them with teargas canisters in separate assaults across the occupied West Bank.

Local nonviolent activist Sabri Jibril, said the soldiers fired dozens of gas bombs and rubber-coated steel bullets at Teqoua’ School for Boys, and its surrounding areas.
He added that many students suffered the effects of teargas inhalation, and the school had to shut down for the day to prevent any further military escalation.
It is worth mentioning that the soldiers also detained the school principal, and several teachers.
Many Palestinians then protested the attack and hurled stones at the invading soldiers, who fired rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs and concussion grenades.
The soldiers also closed the western and northern entrances of the town, and prevented the Palestinians from entering or leaving it.

Palestinian detainee Rizq al-Rajoub, aged 62, has been on an open-ended hunger strike for 16 consecutive days, protesting arbitrary detention in Israeli lock-ups.
Prisoner AlRajoub started his hunger strike after the Israeli occupation authorities renewed his administrative sentence, with neither charge nor trial.
Ever since he was arrested on December 6, 2017, al-Rahjoub has had his detention renewed systematically without charge or trial.
Over recent months, Rajoub, a native of al-Khalil’s town of Dura, in the southern occupied West Bank, started similar hunger strikes which he suspended following promises to end his administrative detention. However, none of such pledges has been made true by the Israeli prison authorities.
Prisoner Rajoub had previously been locked up for a total of 23 years in Israeli jails, including 10 years in administrative detention. He continues to suffer from severe pains in his gall bladder and colon. He has also been diagnosed with skin diseases.

The Israeli military court in Ofer has extended the detention of wounded prisoner Ahmed Ad’eissat, a young man from Bani Naim town in al-Khalil, until next Tuesday.
Lawyer Munder Abu Ahmed, from the Palestinian Prisoner Society, said that Ad’eissat suffers from four bullet injuries and had two surgical operations at Shaare Zedek Hospital before transferring him last Thursday to the infirmary of the Ramla jail.
The lawyer pointed out that Ad’eissat was brought to the court with hands and feet shackled.
Israeli soldiers opened fire at Ad’eissat on November 5 before detaining him and transporting him to an Israeli hospital.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) last night and at dawn Saturday raided several homes and kidnapped four Palestinian citizens in different areas of the West Bank and Jerusalem.
The Israeli army affirmed in a statement that its forces arrested four wanted Palestinians last night in the West Bank.

Israeli sources have reported, Friday, that the soldiers have detained a Palestinian “who breached the perimeter fence, and set a greenhouse ablaze in Hof Ashkelon Regional Council.”
Israeli daily Haaretz said the army initially believed the greenhouse was accidentally burnt by the soldiers, who were firing at Palestinian protesters across the perimeter fence.
Israeli Army spokesperson said the soldiers detained the young Palestinian “who breached the perimeter fence, and determined that he was responsible for the fire.”
The incident took place in Netiv HaAsara colony, in the Hof Ashkelon Regional Council of Settlements, near the Gaza Strip.
Also on Friday, Dr. Ashraf al-Qedra, the spokesperson of the Health Ministry in Gaza, has reported that a young man, identified as Rami Wael Ishaq Qahman, 28, was killed by Israeli army fire, east of Rafah, in the southern part of the coastal region, after the soldiers shot him with a live round in the neck.
Dr. al-Qedra also confirmed that at least 37 Palestinians were injured with Israeli live ammunition, including six children, nine women and one female paramedic, identified as Falasteen Qdeih, who was shot in the leg.
