The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) has decided to administratively detain Palestinian lawmaker Ahmed Attoun, from the Change and Reform parliamentary bloc.
An informed source said that the Israeli intelligence ordered the detention of MP Attoun for four months administratively, with no indictment or trial.
The Israeli occupation forces kidnapped the lawmaker from his home recently in Ramallah, where he lives after the IOA exiled him from Jerusalem and withdrew his Jerusalemite ID in 2010.

Israeli forces detained at least 45 Palestinians during raids in the occupied West Bank, on predawn Monday.
According to Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS), Israeli forces detained six Palestinians in the southern West Bank district of Hebron. They were identified as Mahmoud Ayman Warasna, Zayed Tawfiq al-Jandi, Maher Awad, Adam Adel Huwashiya, Adam Tah Daajna, and Ahmad al-Hawar.
In the southern West Bank district of Bethlehem, two Palestinians were detained. PPS identified them as Abada Qanis and Muhammad Hassan Dariya.
PPS confirmed that Israeli forces detained 30 Palestinians, whose identities remained unknown, from the central West Bank district of Jerusalem and will be taken to an Israeli court for trial.
In the central West Bank district of Ramallah, seven Palestinians were detained, including a father along with his son and daughter, who were identified as Diab Saadi Musleh, Shadi Musleh, and Aya Musleh.

Media sources said the soldiers invaded and ransacked dozens of homes and interrogated many Palestinians in several neighborhoods and communities in Jerusalem, mainly in Jabal al-Mokabber, al-‘Isawiya, at-Tour, Wad al-Jouz, Silwan, Beit Hanina and Shu’fat refugee camp.
They added that the soldiers closed entire Palestinian communities before invading them, and initiated extensive and violent searches of homes, while military helicopters hovered overhead.
The abductions came less than one day after the army abducted Jerusalem Governor Adnan Gheith, from his home.
The soldiers also summoned many Palestinians for interrogation, and broke into the home of Ibrahim Jolani in an attempt to abduct him, but took his son prisoner instead because Ibrahim was not at home during the invasion.
The abducted Palestinians were part of a nonviolent procession, held on Sunday in Salaheddin Street, in Jerusalem, demanding the governor’s release.

The soldiers and the police fired dozens of concussion grenades at the protesters, and assaulted many of them with clubs and batons, causing many to suffer various cuts and bruises.
The soldiers also attacked and injured another Palestinian, identified as Jawad Siyam, before abducting him.
The Palestinians were nonviolently marching against the ongoing and escalating Israeli violations in the occupied Palestinian capital, and called for the immediate release of the governor, before the soldiers resorted to the excessive use of force against them.
The protesters affirmed that Israel’s violations, including the abduction of the governor, are part of Israel’s attempt to enforce its illegal occupation and control of the city, and added that the Palestinians will remain steadfast and will continue their struggle for liberation and independence.
They called on the international community to stand with the Palestinians, facing some of the most dangerous and racist violations by Israel, which denies their basic rights in their homeland.
It is worth mentioning that an Israeli court remanded the governor until the next hearing on Thursday.
His lawyer, Rami Othman, said the Central Court in occupied Jerusalem, will be looking, on Monday morning, into an appeal against the governor’s remand.

Israeli police officers abducted, Friday, four young Palestinian men at the Central Bus Station, in occupied Jerusalem.
The police claimed the four Palestinians attacked Israeli soldiers, mildly wounding one of them, before they were detained.
Media sources in occupied Jerusalem said the incident seemed to be an argument between the four Palestinians and the officers, before it developed into a scuffle.
They added that the Palestinians were cuffed and blindfolded, before being moved to an interrogation facility in the city.
In related news, the Israeli police detained, on Thursday at dawn, two young men who reportedly fired live rounds at the Ramla and Hadarim Prisons, a week earlier.
The Police said the two are from Jaljulia Arab town, north-east of Tel Aviv, and added that they fired at two guardhouses in the detention facilities.

The police claimed the four Palestinians attacked Israeli soldiers, mildly wounding one of them, before they were detained.
Media sources in occupied Jerusalem said the incident seemed to be an argument between the four Palestinians and the officers, before it developed into a scuffle.
They added that the Palestinians were cuffed and blindfolded, before being moved to an interrogation facility in the city.
In related news, the Israeli police detained, on Thursday at dawn, two young men who reportedly fired live rounds at the Ramla and Hadarim Prisons, a week earlier.
The Police said the two are from Jaljulia Arab town, north-east of Tel Aviv, and added that they fired at two guardhouses in the detention facilities.

Media sources said the two shepherds took their livestock to a Palestinian grazing area, east of the al-Farisiyya area.
They said the soldiers attacked the three shepherds, identified as Hilal, Daraghma, Kamal Daraghma, and Jasser Qadri Daraghma.

A local committee documenting Israeli violations against Gaza fishermen said that an Israeli naval force kidnapped the fishermen, Mohamed al-Sultan, 27, Yousef Saadallah, 35, and Ahmed Saadallah, 25.
The committee added that Israeli gunboats intensively opened fire at the boat the fishermen were aboard off the shores of al-Sudaniya area in northern Gaza before rounding them up and towing their boat to an Israeli port.
Israeli gunboats are around Gaza fishermen almost every day, harassing them, shooting at them, damaging their boats, and making arrests. Sometimes fishermen are injured or killed during gunfire attacks.
Under the 1993 Oslo accords, Palestinian fishermen are permitted to fish up to 20 nautical miles off the coast of Gaza, but since then Israel has kept reducing the fishing area gradually to a limit of three nautical miles as part of its blockade on Gaza.
Fishermen and human rights groups also say that, since the 2008-09 war in Gaza, the Israeli army has been regularly enforcing a limit even closer to the shore.

A reporter for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that Israeli soldiers stopped Ayman Sawafta, an ex-detainee from Tubas, at a roadblock, searched him and checked his ID.
