More than a dozen civilians were injured by Israeli army live gunfire and rubber-coated steel bullets, and scores others were treated for the effects of tear gas inhalation during ongoing clashes in different parts of the west Bank on Saturday.
In the central West Bank city of Ramallah, Israeli soldiers attacked a students’ protest near the Beit Eil military base and settlement at the northern entrance of the city.
Five youth were injured, one critically, as soldiers fired live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, and tear gas at the unarmed protesters.
Palestinian medical sources said that the youth who was critically injured near Beit Eil was hit with an explosive live round in his abdomen.
Elsewhere, Israeli troops attacked villagers of Yatta village in southern West Bank as they marched in the funeral of Amjad Al Jinidi, 17. He was killed by Israeli troops on Wednesday agedly after he tried to stab soldiers near the illegal settlement of Kriat Gat near Yatta.
Seven youth were injured, one child was kidnapped by troops as Israeli forces stormed the village and attacked residents homes and protesting youth.
While covering the Israeli invasion of Yatta, Israeli forces attacked journalists from Palestine Today satellite channel and other journalists present in the area.

The head of the Emergency Unit Center in Jenin Monther Nazzal has reported that seventeen Palestinians, including a medic, were shot with rubber-coated metal bullets, in 'Azzoun town, east of Qalqilia, and that five of them required hospitalization, while 174 Palestinians suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation.
He added that a Palestinian woman from Kafr Tholoth, suffered severe effects of teargas inhalation, causing her convulsions and various complications, before she was moved to a hospital in Qalqilia city.
Nazzal also said that 46 Palestinians suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation, during clashes that took place in 'Azzoun, east of Qalqilia city; four of them were moved to a local hospital, while the rest received treatment by Red Crescent medics.

The wife of Hammad said that her husband, who had gone on hunger strike for 102 days in 2013, would start another hunger strike if his jailers did not respect the agreement they had made with him two years ago.
She added that the jailers had pledged at the time to allow him to see his family and follow up his medical status if he ended his hunger strike.
She appealed to the Jordanian foreign ministry and its embassy in the occupied territories to intervene with the Israeli side to help respond to his just demands, including his right to see his family.

A Palestinian youth was arrested by Israeli troops on Thursday midday after he was accused of stabbing a security guard and a settler in Jerusalem.
Israeli sources said that a 15 year old Palestinian boy stabbed a security guard at the lightrail station constructed on stolen Palestinian land in Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood. Another Israeli was also allegedly wounded in the attack.

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) issued at dawn Thursday a demolition notice for a local home in Nablus belonging to the ex-detainee Nimer Haj Mohamed who was exiled to Gaza.
Family sources told the PIC reporter that IOF soldiers stormed and violently searched their home early today.
During the raid, the Israeli commanding officer notified the family of the decision to demolish the three-story home within two weeks.
The Israeli officer also informed the family that their father Nimer has been named in the Israeli list of assassination targets.
The ex-detainee Nimer was arrested in 2004 and sentenced to life term sentence before being released during Shalit Swap Deal in 2011 and sent to Gaza.
He spent seven years out of his sentence, in addition to 11 years in previous arrest.
Israeli authorities have tightened restrictions and punitive measures against Palestinians in an attempt to prevent any further deterioration in the West Bank and Jerusalem.
Over the past week, there have been increasing clashes between Israeli forces and Palestinians over the storming of the al-Aqsa Mosque by settlers, who are being backed by Israel's right-wing government.
Family sources told the PIC reporter that IOF soldiers stormed and violently searched their home early today.
During the raid, the Israeli commanding officer notified the family of the decision to demolish the three-story home within two weeks.
The Israeli officer also informed the family that their father Nimer has been named in the Israeli list of assassination targets.
The ex-detainee Nimer was arrested in 2004 and sentenced to life term sentence before being released during Shalit Swap Deal in 2011 and sent to Gaza.
He spent seven years out of his sentence, in addition to 11 years in previous arrest.

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) carried out at dawn Thursday a large-scale arrest campaign in al-Khalil, Jenin, and Nablus. 22 youths were detained during the campaign.
Ten youths were arrested in Beit Ummar town in al-Khalil after Israeli forces brutally stormed and searched their homes, the local activist Mohamed Awad said.
Five other detainees were taken from the neighboring town of Halhul, while four youths were arrested in the city, the sources added.
On the other hand, large numbers of Israeli forces broke into Aqraba town in Jenin and raided several local homes in the town. A young man was detained during the raid.
Two other youths, who are residents of Nablus city, were detained at Joba checkpoint north of occupied Jerusalem.
Earlier Wednesday, IOF arrested Dr. Arafat Shabana after storming his home in al-Khalil.
The detainee has Ph.D. in communications and network engineering from the University Putra Malaysia (UPM). He also has worldwide patent in optical fibers.
Dr. Shabana has returned home to al-Khalil a month ago after spending eight years in Malaysia. His brother Abbas was recently arrested and sentenced to three years imprisonment after being released during Shalit Swap Deal in 2011.

According to local sources, the IOF soldiers broke into the family home of Dhiaa Talahma, shot dead by the IOF earlier last week, and kidnapped his brother Mohamed shortly after they ravaged the building and threatened to reduce it to rubble.
The occupation soldiers further summoned Dhiaa’s father and brother Mahmoud for interrogation at the Gush Etzion camp, in northern al-Khalil city.
15-year-old Ayham Sayed Ahmad was also kidnapped by the IOF from Dura town.
Youngster Mo’taz al-Nmoura was aggressively beaten by the IOF troops in Ehneina area and kidnapped shortly afterwards.
Earlier, overnight Wednesday the IOF detained the two Palestinian journalists Raed al-Sherif and Raed al-Zugheir while they were covering the clashes that rocked al-Khalil province and dragged them to an Israeli detention center. The two journalists were released a couple of hours later.

The clashes broke out when Israeli forces suppressed a peaceful march organized by Palestinian students in defense of al-Aqsa Mosque.
Several youths suffered breathing difficulties after inhaling teargas that was heavily fired by Israeli forces during the clashes.
Along the same line, a 20-year-old young man was detained after IOF stormed and violently searched his home in Hussan village east of the city. Several other local homes were stormed at dawn today.

Israeli media claimed that the man tried to drive through a security checkpoint in an attempt to run over Israeli forces guarding the post.
The Jerusalem Post reported that the 30-year-old suspect was taken to Shaare Zedek Medical Center in occupied Jerusalem and is currently in moderate condition.
Two Israeli soldiers were injured in the incident and were transported to Hadassah University Medical Center in the occupied city, according to the sources.
The incident came amid widespread unrest in the West Bank and Jerusalem after the killing of at least five Palestinian youths and the injuring of hundreds others by Israeli gunfire.
