Palestinian Prisoners Society on Thursday revealed that the number of Palestinian female captives in Israeli jails mounted to 35. Five of them are held in Israeli hospitals for receiving treatment after being shot by Israeli gunfire during arrest operations in October, 2015.
The society pointed out that Israeli occupation authorities leveled false charges against the Palestinian women lacking evidences, and shot them during arrest before taking them to jails despite being seriously injured.
Some of the captives are from 1948 Occupied Palestine while the others are from Occupied Jerusalem and the West Bank. A number of the detained women are injured with several bullets in different parts of their bodies including the upper parts.

Clashes flared up anew between Palestinian youths and Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) Thursday evening throughout the West Bank. Five citizens including a child were arrested during the clashes.

Following the extensive invasions, searches of homes and the abduction of 24 Palestinians in occupied Jerusalem, Israeli soldiers have also kidnapped at least 33 Palestinians in different communities, in the occupied West Bank. The arrests also targeted former political prisoners.

Awad said the army has kidnapped eleven Palestinians, including seven children, in the town, in the last 24 hours.

The detainee Tareq Ragbi, 23, was also subjected to severe beating and mal-treatment during his arrest.

A Palestinian young man was shot and killed in northern occupied Jerusalem on Wednesday after he attacked an Israeli conscript with a knife.
Maariv Hebrew newspaper reported that the female conscript was seriously wounded after the young man stabbed her in her neck.
Israeli occupation forces cordoned off the area of the attack and arrested a Palestinian man who was in the vicinity and charged him with complicity, according to Hebrew media reports.

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) opened fire at dawn Wednesday at a Palestinian girl near Yitzhar illegal settlement south of Nablus after an alleged stabbing attack.
IOF claimed that the 15-year-old girl Astabreq Nour tried to infiltrate into the settlement while holding a knife in her possession. The Israeli soldiers opened heavy fire once they noticed her, the sources added. The girl was hospitalized with no word on her condition.
Eyewitnesses affirmed that the girl did not approach the settlement. She was walking near the main road when Israeli forces suddenly opened fire at her, the sources stressed.
Following the incident, Israeli authorities summoned the girl’s father for investigation in Hawara military camp south of the city, while no information was released about the girl’s health condition.
Meanwhile, a Jordanian woman was arrested at Karama border crossing, which links West Bank with Jordan, along with her son under the pretext of holding a knife.
The Jordanian MP Assaf Shobaki said that he received a letter from a Jordanian citizen saying that his wife was arrested on Sunday while on her way to the West Bank for allegedly holding a knife.
"My wife was searched at the checkpoint and no knife was found in her possession", the MP quoted the letter as saying. Only an amount of money estimated at 1200 dinars was found in her possession, the letter read.
My wife was then arrested and charged of financing “terrorist groups”, the husband added, calling on Jordanian authorities to intervene for the release of his wife.

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) launched at dawn Wednesday a large-scale raid campaign throughout the West Bank. 27 Palestinians were detained during the raid.
In Nablus, clashes erupted as IOF stormed Balata refugee camp and closed its neighborhoods. Palestinian youths responded by stoning the invading troops.
A number of local homes were stormed and searched during the raid, while four youths were nabbed. One of the reported detainees was injured in his foot before his arrest.
IOF also raided Urif town south of the city and arrested an ex-detainee who was released from Israeli jails only one month ago after spending four years in custody.
In al-Khalil, IOF soldiers carried out raid and arrest campaigns in the city. A journalist was among two detainees rounded up in the city.
11 other detainees were arrested as IOF broke into the neighboring towns of Dura, Wadi Hariya, and Beit Kahel.
In Jenin, similar raids were carried out in a number of towns. One young man was detained while others were brutally attacked and beaten.
In Ramallah, seven youths were arrested during an IOF raid and search campaign.

Media sources in Hebron city said the soldiers surrounded and invaded several neighborhoods, searched scores of homes, and kidnapped ten Palestinians.
The kidnapped have been identified as Hmeidan Salhab, 60, Mohammad Hamdi an-Natsha, 21, Nihad Omran al-Jo’ba, 37, Mo’taz Mohammad Salhab, 18, Ahmad Adel Salaima, 16, Ali al-Oweiwy, 26, Anas Nimir Mojahed, Obeida Rajoub, Tareq Rajabi and Nasser Ashraf Rajabi.
Media Coordinator of the Popular Committee against the Wall and Settlements in Beit Ummar town, north of Hebron, said the soldiers have kidnapped Nassim Taha Abu Mariya, 18, Qussai Mahmoud Sabarna, 16, Ahmad Khaled al-‘Allami, 22, Labeeb Saket al-'Allami, 26, and Hussein Radi Ekhlayyel, 18. They were all moved to the Etzion military and security base for interrogation.
In addition, soldiers invaded Ethna town, west of Hebron, also searched and ransacked homes, and kidnapped Hisham Amin Nammoura, 21, Rami Ahmad Rajoub, 21, and Ramzi Jihad Daraweesh, 22.
Another Palestinian, identified as Hamza Abdul-Mahdi Zohour, 21, was kidnapped from his home in Beit Kahil town, northwest of Hebron.
In related news, soldiers kidnapped Mohammad Ali Foqaha, from the northern West Bank city of Jenin, after stopping him on a sudden roadblock, near Jericho.
One Wednesday at dawn, soldiers invaded the Balata refugee camp in the northern West Bank city of Nablus, and kidnapped four Palestinians during extensive searches of homes, while three more Palestinians have been kidnapped in Bethlehem.
On Wednesday morning, soldiers shot and injured a Palestinian child near the Yitzhar illegal colony, south of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, and kidnapped two Palestinians in Jenin and Nablus. While Israeli extremist attacked and injured a child near Jenin.
In Nablus, clashes erupted as IOF stormed Balata refugee camp and closed its neighborhoods. Palestinian youths responded by stoning the invading troops.
A number of local homes were stormed and searched during the raid, while four youths were nabbed. One of the reported detainees was injured in his foot before his arrest.
IOF also raided Urif town south of the city and arrested an ex-detainee who was released from Israeli jails only one month ago after spending four years in custody.
In al-Khalil, IOF soldiers carried out raid and arrest campaigns in the city. A journalist was among two detainees rounded up in the city.
11 other detainees were arrested as IOF broke into the neighboring towns of Dura, Wadi Hariya, and Beit Kahel.
In Jenin, similar raids were carried out in a number of towns. One young man was detained while others were brutally attacked and beaten.
In Ramallah, seven youths were arrested during an IOF raid and search campaign.
