Gazan prisoners’ family visits planned for Monday have been cancelled, spokesman for the Red Cross Suhir Zaqout said Sunday.
The measure came after Israeli authorities closed Gaza’s border crossings due to the Jewish holidays, the sources added.
The Israeli authorities have earlier imposed a complete closure on occupied Palestinian territories (oPt) for three days starting from Sunday.
Palestinians from Gaza Strip and West Bank are thus banned from entering occupied Jerusalem or 1948 occupied Palestine. The Israeli military restrictions came in coincidence with the Jewish holidays in October.

Two Palestinian prisoners, held in Ofer prison, continue their hunger strike for the seventh consecutive day in protest against their administrative detention, a rights group said.
The two prisoners Ahmed Abu Fara, 29, and Anas Shadid, 19, who are currently held in Ofer’s solitary confinement, declared hunger strike a week ago.
The two prisoners were moved to solitary confinement as a punitive measure following their hunger strike, the sources pointed out.
Abu Fara, from Surif town south of al-Khalil, was arrested on August 8 and moved into administrative detention. He had spent two years in Israeli jails in a previous arrest.
Shadid, also from al-Khalil, was arrested on August 1 and held since then in administrative detention.

Israeli soldiers kidnapped, Sunday, a young Palestinian man who crossed the border fence, and entered the Eshkol regional council of settlement, close to the border area in the besieged Gaza Strip.
The Israeli army said that the soldiers noticed the man after he cut through the border fence, close to Holeet town, in the Eshkol Regional Council, and arrested him.
The army added that the young man was not armed when the soldiers took him to an interrogation center.
Many Palestinians try to cross the border fence seeking work in Israel despite the risks of being captured or even shot by the soldiers, due to the dire situation and increasing levels of poverty in the besieged and impoverished Gaza Strip.

The Israeli occupation police at dawn Sunday kidnapped 18 Palestinian citizens, including a woman, from their homes in east Jerusalem and took them to interrogation centers.
12 Palestinians were also banned from entering the Aqsa Mosque as part of Israeli arbitrary security measures against the Palestinians ahead of the Hebrew new year celebrations.
Head of the family committee of Jerusalemite prisoners Amjad Abu Asab said that 11 young men were handed police orders banning their entry to the Aqsa Mosque for 15 days.
A woman named Zahra Abu Qus, who works as a nurse at the Aqsa Mosque infirmary, was also ordered not to enter the Islamic holy site for two months.
The police also summoned three other young men for interrogation later during the day.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnapped eight Palestinians from the West Bank at predawn time on Sunday at the same time as a tight security cordon was imposed on Sebastiya town.
Abrupt sweeps launched by the occupation troops across West Bank provinces culminated in the abduction of eight Palestinians.
Reporting from the abduction scene, a PIC news correspondent said the IOF soldiers rolled into the Aida refugee camp, in northern Bethlehem province, and wreaked havoc on Palestinian civilian homes, before they kidnapped the youngster Tariq Bassem Abu Akr.
Two minors—Tariq Mahmoud Abu Sourour, 16, and Tamer Yasseen Abu Salem, 14—were also kidnapped by the IOF and dragged to an unidentified destination shortly afterwards.
The abductions were carried out following claims that Palestinian anti-occupation youth targeted an Israeli military watchtower with a home-made grenade overnight. Meanwhile, dozens of Israeli army jeeps rolled into Sebastiya town, to the north of Nablus, and imposed a tight security cordon around the area, paving the way for projected settler break-ins into Palestinian archaeological sites.
A PIC journalist quoted the eyewitness Mo’men Azem as stating that heavily-armed IOF troops stormed Sebastiya at 8 a.m. and have been stationed around Palestinian historic sites.
Palestinian citizens have been denied access into the area while a military checkpoint was pitched by the occupation soldiers on the main entrance to the town. Sebastiya’s archaeological sites have been increasingly targeted by the occupation army and settlers in an attempt to wipe out their Palestinian identity.

Local sources affirmed to the PIC reporter that Hamza Abu Arra was driving to Ramallah when Israeli forces stopped and searched his car at Zaatara checkpoint.

The Israeli Occupation Authorities (IOA) on Saturday released a Palestinian woman who was seriously wounded when Israeli forces opened heavy fire at her and her relative, killing him, last month.
The Palestinian Committee of Prisoners Affairs said in a statement that Raghad Khaddour arrived at the Palestine Medical Center in the presence of representatives of the Red Cross and a number of her family.
She was being treated at the Shaare Zedek hospital in occupied Jerusalem after having been shot in the abdomen.
Khaddour, an 18-year-old resident of the village of Bani Naim in the southern occupied West Bank district of al-Khalil, was riding in a car with her relative Fares Khaddour, 18, on Sept. 16, when Israeli forces opened fire at the vehicle, claiming that the two young Palestinians were attempting to carry out a car-ramming attack.
Woman whose Fiancé was Killed by Israel Released by Israeli Authorities
A 19-year old Palestinian woman was released from custody Saturday after spending two weeks in Israeli prison. Raghad al-Khdour, 19, was seriously wounded on September 16, 2016, and her fiancé Fares al-Khdour was killed by Israeli soldiers.
The couple was driving near Bani Neim, north of the southern West Bank city of Hebron when the Israeli soldiers opened fire, killing him and seriously wounding her.
Al-Khdour stated that she and her fiancé were completely surprised when the soldiers started firing at their car.
Later, the Israeli military claimed that the couple attempted to ram soldiers with their car.
Al-Khdour, who was moved to the Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah, said she was with her fiancé, Firas Mousa al-Birawi Khdour, 18, who was driving the car, when suddenly, the soldiers started firing at them.
She said that all she remembers is the shots fired by the soldiers, and later, being moved to an Israeli hospital.
Raghad was shot close to her spine, and apparently suffered nerve damage, but the specialists need to conduct various tests to see what the long-term damage will be.
It is clear, however, that she will need an extended period of care, recovery and rehabilitation.
Dr. Ahmad Al-Beetawi, told the Palestinian TV that the bullets struck close to the spinal cord, causing more damage to the right side, but the impact to the spinal canal seems to be impacting her right side more than the left. He added that the young woman was also shot in her abdomen.
