The Palestinian prisoner Bilal Diab, who has been on hunger strike for seven days, has stopped taking water for the second consecutive day.
Diab has declared hunger strike in protest at his ill-treatment and harassment by Israeli jailers.
The Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS) reported that Diab was transferred two days ago from Negev prison’s solitary confinement to Ashkelon’s solitary confinement while handcuffed.
He suffered multiple injuries all over his body during the transfer operation, the PPS added.
The PPS’s lawyer affirmed that Diab stopped taking water and vitamins for the second day.
He started suffering sharp head and back pains, in addition to extreme fatigue.
Diab, 32, was arrested more than once by Israeli forces, most recently was last July. He previously waged a 77-day hunger strike in 2012 in protest against his administrative detention.
According to human rights groups, Israel uses its policy of administrative detention — internment without charge or trial based on undisclosed evidence— to detain anti-occupation activists and protesters in an extension of several policies that rights groups have deemed collective punishment aimed at disrupting family life for Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and Occupied Jerusalem.

The prison management neither informed Abu Shukhdum, who is serving a sentence of 6 life imprisonments and 20 years and has been detained for 15 years, about the results of any of the medical tests he underwent in jail nor provided him with the appropriate treatment.

Prisoners Media Office affirmed that Israeli occupation authorities have been denying families of Gazan Hamas prisoners, over 100 detainees, their right to visit their imprisoned sons for the fourth month by a decision of Israeli Internal Security Minister Gilad Erdan.
In a statement on Monday, Prisoners Media Office pointed out that Israeli courts have not responded yet to the case filed by Hamas captives at the Israeli Supreme Court for the demand of resuming family visitation schedule which has been halted since last July.
The statement added that Israeli occupation authorities have been using ban of visit orders in order to pressure Hamas Movement to offer waivers with regards to the Israeli soldiers and officers who are missing since the Israeli aggression on Gaza in 2014.
The prisoners’ statement stressed that banning a number of the families of Gazan detainees from visiting their relatives in Israeli jails runs contrary to all international laws and norms. They called on the International Committee of the Red Cross to exert more efforts for reactivating the visitation schedule for all families of prisoners from the Gaza Strip.

The head of the Studies and Documentation Department at the Palestinian Detainees’ Committee, former political prisoner, Abdul-Nasser Ferwana, stated that Israel has issued around 3086 arbitrary Administrative detention orders, since October 1, 2015, holding hundreds of detainees captive without charges or trial.
Ferwana stated that 1285 (%42) of these orders were issued against detainees for the first time, and 1801 (%58) were renewals of existing orders.
He added that Israel is currently holding captive 450 Palestinians, including women, children and legislators, under Administrative Detention orders.
Administrative Detention policies aim at imprisoning hundreds of persons for extended periods; these orders are largely repeatedly renewed without charges or trial.
Many of these orders are renewed each time to three, four, or six months, in many cases, imprisoning dozens of detainees for years.
“Israel has transformed Administrative Detention from something that is occasionally used to a fixed policy in dealing with thousands of detainees since 1967. This includes males and females, including children.” Ferwana stated, “This illegal policy became a tool used by Israel to exact vengeance on detainees who are not facing any charges. It is immoral, and violates basic standards of human rights.”
Ferwana called on various local, regional and international legal and human rights groups to intervene, and end the escalating Israeli violations of International Law and the Four Geneva Convention, and added that Israel’s use and abuse of Administrative Detention was never occasional, but a fixed illegal policy, part of ongoing violations and oppression.”
He also stated that the silence of International Community, the unwillingness and idleness in dealing with these violations, have given Israel a green light to continue and escalate these violations, and pushed many detainees to hold individual and extended hunger strikes, demanding dignity and justice.

A Palestinian committee in the city of Hebron, in the southern occupied West Bank, has reportedly received an order by the Israeli Supreme Court to evacuate a group of Israeli settlers illegally occupying a Palestinian home in the area.
The home, which belongs to the Abu Rajab family, has been embroiled in a legal battle with Israeli settlers who claim that they purchased the rights to the home, though the Palestinian homeowners and the Israeli state have maintained that the settlers forged the documents.
Despite several court orders preventing the settlers from moving into the home, they forcibly took over the home in late July.
The state of Israel ordered the 15 settlers families living in the Abu Rajab house to evacuate last month, however, the Israeli Supreme Court ordered, in September, to delay the evacuation, based on an appeal submitted by the settlers.
According to Palestinian activists, who held a sit-in protest in front of the home on Friday, the Hebron Reconstruction Committee “was able to issue an order by the Israeli Supreme Court to evacuate Israeli settlers of the Abu Rajab building as it was proven that their entrance to the building was not legal.”
During the sit-in, Israeli forces detained coordinator of the Youth against Settlement group Issa Amro, according to Ma’an News Agency.
Located in the center of Hebron — one of the largest cities in the occupied West Bank — the Old City was divided into Palestinian and Israeli-controlled areas, H1 and H2, following the Ibrahimi Mosque massacre. The Abu Rajab home is located near to this mosque.
Some 800 notoriously aggressive Israeli settlers now live under the protection of the Israeli military in the Old City, surrounded by more than 30,000 Palestinians.
Palestinian residents of the Old City face a large Israeli military presence on a daily basis, with at least 20 checkpoints set up at the entrances of many streets, as well as the entrance of the Ibrahimi Mosque itself.
