The Israeli Special Units have stormed violently section 6 in Megiddo prison, and brutally attacked the Palestinian prisoners after conducting search operation in the prison, Ahrar Center for prisoners' studies said. Lawyer Mazen Abu Aoun told the center that the Israeli soldiers held prisoners in the prison's facility after long hours of searching operation.

An Israeli judge ordered the release of the head of the Islamic Movement in Jerusalem on Tuesday, but banned him from entering Jerusalem for 180 days.

Families of Jordanian prisoners on Monday visited Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the capital Amman to find out what the ministry has done regarding the follow-up of the agreement reached between their detained sons and Israeli prison administration. Spokesman for the prisoners' families reported that they were surprised that the file has been transferred from an official to another at the Ministry, and that the officials did not have sufficient information about the case and the agreement.
He said the officials have not been informed about any progress in the necessary arrangements for the families' visits for the Israeli jails.

Israeli soldiers invaded, late on Monday at night and on Tuesday at dawn, various districts in the occupied West bank, and kidnapped seven Palestinians, including a child in Hebron, and a young woman in occupied East Jerusalem.
Mohammad Ayyad Awad, spokesperson of the Popular Committee against the Wall and Settlements in Beit Ummar, near Hebron, stated that dozens of soldiers broke into a construction site and kidnapped one worker identified as Eyad Omar Sabarna, 23.
Awad added that the soldiers also kidnapped a child near the Karmie Tzur illegal settlement, built on Palestinian lands that belong to the residents of the nearby Halhoul town, near Hebron.
The child has been identified as Ahmad Thaher Abu Ayyash, 15. The army cuffed the child, and took him to an unknown destination.
Furthermore, soldiers kidnapped a young Palestinian woman in Al-Ezariyya town, southeast of occupied East Jerusalem, and took her to the Police Station in Maale Adumim settlement.
Eyewitnesses have reported that several soldiers and police officers stopped the woman as she was driving her car near the junction between Maale Adumim and Al-Ezariyya.

Israeli police arrested Tuesday Sheikh Raed Salah, head of the northern branch of the Islamic Movement in Israel, when he was on his way to Jerusalem to attend a meeting on Jerusalem and al-Aqsa Mosque, according to sources close to Salah. No reason was given for the arrest but it is believed related to Palestinian efforts to confront planned Israeli intrusions into al-Aqsa Mosque, one of Islam’s holiest sites which Jews also claim is the location of their destroyed temple, on Wednesday during Israeli celebrations of the Jewish New Year.

The District court in Jerusalem decided to release 19-year old Ahmad Daoud Obeid after paying a 2500-NIS bail and on condition of house arrest, and signing a 10000-NIS bail.

Israeli occupation forces (IOF) rounded up 15 Palestinians in various West Bank cities, villages and refugee camps in violent dawn raids on Monday. Local sources said that the soldiers broke into homes and beat up inhabitants before taking away those “wanted” for interrogation.
The sources said that a man was arrested in Jenin and four others in Nablus where the IOF claimed that ammo and military equipment were found in one of the detainees’ homes and that an explosive device was detonated inside his home.
In Ramallah, locals reported that two citizens were nabbed in Jalazon refugee camp and a third in Mazra’a Qabaliya village near Ramallah city.
In Taku town, south of Bethlehem, local sources told Safa news agency that four teenagers were arrested while two were arrested in other areas of the province.
IOF soldiers arrested a man in Al-Khalil city, locals said, adding that the soldiers set up road barriers at major crossroads in the province.

Soldiers also broke into the home of Mohammad Ali Sabah, apparently in an attempt to kidnap him but he was not home; the soldiers handed a warrant to his parents ordering him to head to Etzion military base for interrogation.
Teqoua’ Mayor, Taiseer Abu Mfarreh, told WAFA that the town has been subject to frequent and escalating Israeli military invasions, and that the soldiers are currently harassing schoolchildren starting their new school year.

The three have been identified as Mahmoud, 20, his brother Ahmad Rezeq Issa, 22, and Mahmoud Omar Mousa.
Moreover, the army kidnapped Nasr Mohammad Obeyyat, 28, Nabil Mohammad Obeyyat, 26, and Hamza Saleh Ma’aly, 25, all from Bethlehem. The three were kidnapped in occupied East Jerusalem; army claimed they had no permits to enter the city.

Palestinian prisoner Hisham El-Shaer from Khanyounis southern the Gaza Strip, sentenced eight years in Nafha Prison, ended his hunger strike after the Israeli Prison Service(IPS) pledged to let him conduct a surgery in his eye. The prisoner's mother told Alray on Sunday that her brother signed a deal with the IPS to end his strike in return for conducting an operation in his eyes during this month.
Director of Mohjat Al-Quds Foundation Yaser Saleh praised El-Shaer and described his victory as being a national achievement, adding," by their determination, prisoners smashed several policies practiced against them by the IPS including the solitary confinement, family visits, medical negligence and administrative detention.
El-Shaer launched his hunger strike last month but the IPS ignored his demands and retreated its promises to let him make a surgery, according to Mohjat Al-Quds Foundation.

Israeli occupation forces stormed Monday, the village of Tkou', east of Bethlehem, arrested six minors and handed a seventh a notice to meet with the Israeli Intelligence Services.
Tayseer Abu Mufreh, The Mayor of Tkou' Municipality, said that a unit from the Israeli Army raided the village at dawn, broke into a number of homes, searched them and arrested six minors between 17 and 18 years old.
He added that the minors are: Mahmoud Kamel Sabah, Ahmed Khaled Sabah, Mohammed Jamal al-Amour, Khalil Imad al-Amour, Ahmed Samir al-Amour, and Mohammed Diab al-Amour. The Israeli soldiers also handed the family of Mohammed Ali Sabah, who wasn't at home, a notice to turn himself over to the Israeli Intelligence.

The Israeli Magistrate court extended on Sunday the arrest of 4 Jerusalemites and released another with a bail and on condition of house arrest.
Mohammad Mahmoud, Al-Dameer organization lawyer, said that the Israeli court extended the arrest of 14-year old boy Laith Husseini and 19-year old Ishaq Gheith until Wednesday on charges of throwing stones, knowing that they were arrested after raiding their homes in Shu’fat refugee camp.
Mohammad added that the judge extended the arrest of Mohammad Obeid from Esawyeh until next Sunday to continue investigating him knowing that he is being investigated in Al-Maskobyeh cells.
The General Prosecution submitted on Sunday to the Magistrate court a permit from an attorney general to submit an indictment against Ibrahim Abu Sara which includes throwing stones, and the judge extended his arrest until next Tuesday.
The Magistrate court judge released Ata Abdelqader with a 500-NIS bail and house arrest for 5 days.

The families of two Palestinian children detained in Israeli occupation jails appealed to UNICEF to intervene and demand their release in order for them to join their schools. Human rights sources said that the Israeli military court in Salem adjourned the court hearings of the two children Ibrahim and Yazid Abul Rub from Jalbon village, Jenin province, till 5th November for the fifth time running.
Ibrahim’s father appealed to UNICEF to pressure the Israeli government into releasing his son who suffers behavioral disturbances while the father of Yazid held the Israeli occupation authorities responsible for the life of his son who was shot in his thigh on his arrest.
Both fathers urged UNICEF and the Red Cross to intervene for the sake of their sons so that they could joint their schools, noting that they were detained last April and deprived of schooling for months.
Statistics indicate that more than 200 Palestinian children are held in Israeli occupation jails.

Caretaker Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah said Sunday that Israel may release more veteran Palestinian prisoners by the end of September.
"It is possible that the second batch of pre-Oslo prisoners will be released before the end of this month," Hamdallah said during a tour of Salfit.
Israel has agreed to release a total of 104 prisoners, most of who were jailed before the 1993 Oslo peace accords, in stages depending on progress in the new peace talks.
The first batch of 26 prisoners was released on Aug. 14.
Hamdallah called on the international community to support Palestinian efforts in negotiations to help them achieve an independent state on 1967 borders.

Israeli forces detained six Palestinians in the West Bank overnight Saturday, locals and Israel's army said.
An Israeli force of 150 soldiers and 22 military vehicles raided Beit Ummar, witnesses said. Rashid Awad, 18, was detained after being blindfolded by Israeli troops together with his brother Issa, 23. Local villagers threw stones and empty bottles at Israeli forces, who responded with tear gas canisters and sound bombs. |
An Israeli army spokeswoman told Ma'an that six people were detained overnight, three in Qalqiliya, one in Ramallah, and two in Beit Ummar.

Clashes Sunday erupted between Palestinians and Israeli forces following an army raid on the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, according to a local activist. During the campaign, the IOF clashed with angry young men and intensively fired tear gas grenades at them before withdrawing from the town.

Tension is still running high in Askalan jail after Israeli jailors escalated their forced entry into wards and rooms damaging personal property of prisoners. Sources in Askalan told the PIC reporter on Saturday that prisoners were demanding an end to the penalties imposed on them by the prison administration five days earlier after jailors broke into their cells and damaged their belongings.
They said that the penalties included confiscating electric appliances, blocking family visits, barring daily strolls outside the jail rooms and depriving prisoners of the cantina.
Large numbers of Israeli anti-riot units had stormed the prisoners’ room number (15) on 26/8/2013 and destroyed the entire room including personal belongings and even mattresses and clothes.
Prisoners said that the storming operations were increasing in number and ferocity creating instability and constant tension in the prison.
They said that the penalties included confiscating electric appliances, blocking family visits, barring daily strolls outside the jail rooms and depriving prisoners of the cantina.

Lawyer for ministry of prisoners Kareem Ajwa said eight prisoners have been still on an open hunger strike since August 25th in solidarity with Dirar Abu Sisi. He said that the eight prisoners have been transferred from Eshel to the Ashkelon prison and put in solitary confinement.
They declared their strike in solidarity with the prisoner Dirar Abu Sisi who has been under solitary confinement since three years after he was boarded to Soroka Hospital due to his deteriorated health. He has pains in gallbladder, kidneys, liver and in the eyes.
The prison administration reneged on its promise to remove Abu Sisi from solitary confinement.

Israel said that the army arrested two Palestinians (22 – 25 years of age) working at the Mall, and that the two confessed to planning an attack in the Mall. They will be facing charges at the Central Court in Jerusalem, Sunday.
The Shin Bet also claimed that the army kidnapped three Palestinians, including the cell head, in the central West Bank city of Ramallah.
It said that two more Palestinians from Jerusalem were assigned the task of transporting the bomb to use it in the Mamilla Mall in the city.
The International Solidarity Foundation for Human Rights said that Israel kidnapped, in August, a young Palestinian man identified as Hamdi Hassanen Rommana, 22, from Al-Biereh town near Ramallah, who reportedly confessed to heading a Hamas cell that was planning attacks in Israeli cities.
Rommana allegedly created a lab for preparing explosives, and his cell reached an advanced planning state after receiving all needed components to make the explosive charge.
The two Palestinians who work at the Mall were tasked with disguising the explosive to make it look like a wrapped gift to the Mall, so that it could be detonated later on.
Cell members were also allegedly planning another bombing attack, and to buy weapons in addition to trying to manufacture homemade shells.

Matar's wife told Ma'an that Israel's prison authority had responded to some of the Jerusalem prisoner's demands, including reviewing his sentence and allowing private visits.
Matar, sentenced to life imprisonment, suffers from kidney and liver problems and has lost 33 kilograms since launching strike action.
