The 14-year old Kamal Akram Abu Hadwan suffered pains and nausea after he was assaulted by the occupation forces in Beit Hanina; he is still under medical observation at the hospital.
Akram Abu Hadwan explained that the forces assaulted his 14-year old son while he was in front of car-repair shop. Kamal went outside and was sitting on a bench concurrently with the passing of a patrol in the area. Abu Hadwan added that the police dismounted from their vehicle and assaulted one child in the street and then headed towards Kamal and surrounded him and then accused him of stealing a motorcycle; he declined charges. The police then called the owner of the motorcycle who confirmed that he had parked it in that area in Beit Hanina. He added that the forces insisted on accusing his son of assaulting the |
police personnel and obstructing their work by not showing them his ID; note that he is a minor and doesn’t have an ID yet. Four police personnel then severely beat the child causing him to bleed; he also lost consciousness while being dragging him to the police vehicle.
The patrol’s individuals then hit him inside the vehicle before he was transferred to “Nabi Yaakov” police station.
He explained that the interrogator accused him of assaulting a policeman and then released him. Kamal’s father explained that he will file a claim against the policemen who assaulted his son for no reason.
He also pointed out that his son is still under medical observation in the hospital due to the bruises and pains he suffered.

The District court sentenced on Monday seven young Jerusalemite men for periods between 22 and 50 months. The young men are from the villages of Esawyeh and Jabal Al-Mukabber and the neighborhood of Al-Thori in Silwan.

The detainees have been under arrest since April 2014 and are currently imprisoned in Nafha desert prison.
Al-Dameer organization lawyer, Mohammad Mahmoud, explained that the District judge sentenced the 20-year old Walid Alayan for 52 months of actual imprisonment and a fine of 12500 NIS.
Lawyer Mahmoud also explained that the public prosecution threatened to appeal the District court’s decision regarding the “reduced” sentences against the young men of Esawyeh and requested to imprison them between 20-40 months.
The so-called “Minister of Internal Security”, Gilad Ardan” recommended to the State Attorney General to appeal to the decision at the Supreme Court under the pretext of “easy punishment” imposed on them.
The Minister said: “The sentences issued by the District judge against young men from Esawyeh are reduced and easy in accordance with the charges against them”. They were accused of setting a synagogue on fire in the settlement of “French Hill” in Jerusalem and throwing Molotov Cocktails towards settlers’ vehicles while passing through the street leading to the settlement of “Maale Adomim” and towards the gas stations at the entrance of the village of Esawyeh in addition to throwing Molotov Cocktails at the military camp near the village and the parking lot of Hadassah hospital.

The Israeli Occupation Authorities (IOA) moved Sunday the Palestinian prisoner Thaer Hamad to solitary confinement under the pretext of issuing statements in defense of al-Aqsa Mosque.
The Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS) said that the Israeli authorities aim at isolating the Palestinian prisoners from the ongoing events in the area.
Hamad, from Silwad town in Ramallah, was arrested in 2004 and sentenced to 11 life terms for carrying out a resistance attack that killed 11 israeli soldiers.

The IOF troops further summoned a number of Palestinian civilians for interrogation and seized vehicles for long hours.
The Israeli occupation patrols also broke into the nearby Aroub refugee camp and ravaged Palestinian family homes.
The assault culminated in the abduction of the youngster Baha al-Khmour and his cousin Ahmad. Both arrestees were dragged to an unidentified destination.

An Israeli court on Sunday extended, for the six consecutive time, the administrative detention of Palestinian lawmaker Mohamed al-Natsheh, from al-Khalil city.
His lawyer said that the court extended the detention of MP Natsheh administratively for another six months.
Natsheh, a member of Hamas's parliamentary bloc, was jailed administratively with no indictment in March 2013, and since then he has been receiving extensions to his detention at the request of the Shin Bet.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Sunday evening captured a Palestinian young man after he infiltrated into the Negev region near the border with the Gaza Strip, according to the Hebrew media.
The young man was claimed to have been trying to reach an agricultural settlement (kibbutz) on the western side of the Negev.
The Israeli army said the young man was not armed when he was arrested, adding that he was transferred to an interrogation center.
Every once in a while, some citizens try to escape the harsh economic situation in Gaza by endangering their lives and infiltrating into Israeli border areas in an attempt to find job opportunities in nearby settlement communities.

The army also invaded a village near the northern West Bank city of Qalqilia.
Media sources in Hebron said the soldiers invaded and searched homes in the al-'Arroub refugee camp, and kidnapped two Palestinians identified as Ahmad Emad Khamour, 19, and Baha' Jihad Khamour, 19.
Another Palestinian, identified as Emad Khaled al-Juneidi, 20, was kidnapped from his home in Hebron city, after the soldiers broke into homes and searched them.

The occupation forces arrested on Monday afternoon four Jerusalemite children after they left school and were heading home.
Wadi Hilweh Information Center’s lawyer explained that the forces arrested Mohammad Nidal Salah (10), Khader Nader Shweiki (11) and his brothers Yousef (10) and Shafiq (9). Israeli soldiers invaded, on Monday at dawn, the al-‘Eesawiyya and Silwan towns, and at-Tour neighborhood, in occupied East Jerusalem, and kidnapped 27 Palestinians, including 11 children. Soldiers also demolished one home in Silwan.
The Wadi Hilweh Information Center in Silwan (Silwanic) has reported that among the kidnapped are three children in al-‘Eesawiyya, and eight others in Ras al-‘Amoud neighborhood in Silwan.

A lawyer working for Silwanic said he demanded the soldiers to remove the cuffs, but removed them only to place them again, this time from the front.
In addition, the Ad-Dameer Prisoners’ Support and Human Rights Association said the soldiers also kidnapped Nadim Safadi, Fadi Atiyya, Mahmoud Dirbas, Ahmad Dirbas, Sufian Mahmoud, Jamil Shartook, Amir Mustafa, Mahmoud Awadallah, Mahmoud Mheisin, Jamil Mheisin, Sufian Mahmoud, and Mohammad Nasser, 19, in al-’Eesawiyya.

The forces harassed the women near Al-Aqsa Gates and attempted to prevent them from staying around the gates especially Al-Majles and l-Qataneen; they randomly sprayed pepper gas near Hutta Gate.
It is noteworthy that the occupation forces prevented nearly 60 Palestinians from entering Al-Aqsa Mosque (men, women and journalists) under the pretext of initiating problems inside Al-Aqsa; note that their names are listed in the “black lists” distributed at Al-Aqsa Gates.
On Sunday, 146 extremist settlers broke into the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque through Dung Gate protected by the police amid chants of “God is Great” by the worshippers.
He occupation police continued on Sunday to detain the men’s IDs before entering Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Prisoner Fathi Raja Khatib, 56, began an open-ended hunger strike in his Israeli jail in solidarity with his son Ahmad who is detained by the Palestinian Authority and who is on hunger strike for three days now protesting his political detention.
Khatib's family confirmed that they had received a massage from his lawyer stating that he had gone on hunger strike.
The journalist Ahmad Khatib was detained by the Palestinian Authority security apparatuses last week, and then his detention was extended for 15 days. He is now in the Palestinian intelligence prison in Ramallah.
Captive Ahmad Khatib, 27, was freed last June from Israeli occupation jails after about a year in administrative custody, without trial or charge.

In a statement on Saturday, the campaign warned of the deterioration of the health condition of the elderly captive Shobaki as he turned 80. He also suffers from chronic diseases.
The events will be launched in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. It includes a big festival in central Gaza in the presence of Palestinian national and Islamic leaders. A legal campaign will be launched as well via human rights organizations.
The campaign appealed to Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas to intervene at the regional and international levels to oblige Israel to release the oldest detainee in Israeli jails Fuad Shobaki. It announced its intention to send a letter to the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon for the same purpose.
The old captive has spent almost half of his sentence in Israeli jails as he was sentenced to 20 years after being arrested in 2006.

Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) carried out on Sunday a campaign of arrest against Palestinians in different locations in the West Bank and Occupied Jerusalem.
Local sources revealed that Israeli soldiers broke into Jenin refugee camp and Abu Dhair Mount in Jenin city and rounded up three young men aged 19 and 20 years.
The sources also revealed that the Israeli forces stormed houses in Nabi Saleh town, to the west of Ramallah, and arrested two Palestinians aged 18 and 22 years respectively. The young men were taken to an unknown destination, it underlined.
As for Occupied Jerusalem, four Palestinian youths including two minors were arrested after breaking into neighborhoods and districts of the city. The Jerusalemites were held captive for participating in the recent pro-Aqsa demonstrations.
In a similar context, the Israeli army announced on Sunday morning arresting a Palestinian injured youth from Jenin refugee camp after shooting him in the leg.
The Israeli troops informed the Palestinian side that the 18-year-old teen, called Mohammad Jamal Abu Saqer, was arrested near a petrol station in the camp within the arrest campaign conducted at dawn, local sources disclosed.

Local sources revealed that Israeli soldiers broke into Jenin refugee camp and Abu Dhair Mount in Jenin city and rounded up three young men aged 19 and 20 years.
The sources also revealed that the Israeli forces stormed houses in Nabi Saleh town, to the west of Ramallah, and arrested two Palestinians aged 18 and 22 years respectively. The young men were taken to an unknown destination, it underlined.
As for Occupied Jerusalem, four Palestinian youths including two minors were arrested after breaking into neighborhoods and districts of the city. The Jerusalemites were held captive for participating in the recent pro-Aqsa demonstrations.
In a similar context, the Israeli army announced on Sunday morning arresting a Palestinian injured youth from Jenin refugee camp after shooting him in the leg.
The Israeli troops informed the Palestinian side that the 18-year-old teen, called Mohammad Jamal Abu Saqer, was arrested near a petrol station in the camp within the arrest campaign conducted at dawn, local sources disclosed.

The head of the Palestinian Detainees Committee Issa Qaraqe warned, Sunday, that hunger striking detainee Rabea’ Jabarin is facing a very serious health condition, as Israeli continues to deny him access to adequate medical treatment.
Qaraqe said the Israeli Prison Authority knows the seriousness of Jabarin's health condition, especially since he suffers from Cirrhosis of the liver, but is not providing him with any medications.
Qaraqe added that Jabarin, 29 years of age from Teqoua' town near Bethlehem, started the strike four days ago, and intends to continue, especially after the Prison Authority informed him it "cannot help him because they it does not have his medications," and is refusing to move him to a hospital.
"This is an official decision to kill him, or at least let him die slowly,” he said, “They are refusing to hospitalize him, or even to provide him with the needed medications."
The Palestinian official called on the International Red Cross to intervene, without any delay, and to send a physician to examine Jabarin, especially since he developed complications after his strike, including repeatedly throwing up, and inability to walk with balance.”
Rabea Jabarin is from Bethlehem; he was taken prisoner a month ago (August 19), and received a four-month Administrative Detention order, without charges or trial.
He is a former political prisoner who was released in 2012.

One Palestinian child was shot in the head, with an Israeli rubber-coated steel bullet, on Saturday at night, suffering a serious injury, after the soldiers invaded the al-‘Eesawiyya town, in occupied East Jerusalem. Army also kidnapped seven Palestinians in Jerusalem.
The Wadi Hilweh Information Center in Silwan (Silwanic), in Jerusalem, said the wounded child, Mohammad Issa, 13 years of age, suffered fractures in his skull and a traumatic brain injury.
He was moved to the Al-Makassed Islamic Charitable Society Hospital, and later to the Hadassah Israeli Hospital, in Jerusalem.
The Child’s uncle said the medical condition of his nephew is serious, and that, before the child was moved to Hadassah, he was unable to move his right arm.
Mohammad Abu al-Hummus, member of the Follow-up Committee in Silwan, said dozens of soldiers invaded al-‘Eesawiyya, and conducted provocative acts against the residents before storming a shop, and kidnapped five children.
In addition, soldiers invaded Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, in Jerusalem, searched property, and kidnapped Mohammad Hani ‘Asaliyya, after assaulting and wounding him.
